Haven’t seen many people talking about this. One of the groups behind pressuring steam to remove adult content is a TERF group backed by conservative Christian groups. Once again the root behind a lot of anti-porn talking points is transphobia/transmisogyny and the idea that being trans is a social contagion caused by porn/‘pervertedness’
Now, the group is claiming responsibility for Steam’s new payment processor policies, with its co-founder calling impacted gamers “porn sick” and “brain rotted.” In one case, the organization even retweeted a notoriously anti-trans feminist who declared that “pervert nerds are responsible for most of society’s ills.” The retweeted feminist, a self-described “trans-exclusionary radical feminist,” proceeded to write under her post, “Evidence #1: trans.”

yesterday was the most baffling bout of sickness ive ever had i think
#i woke up perfectly fine then like an hour later it took a total of 30 minutes for me to get violently ill#ive gotten the sensitive muscles and skin thing before but it was like my emotions were on 100x too??#i just could not stop crying. one of the only things i could identify as the reason was that my room was too dark lmao#but then as of today i feel perfectly fine?? still sleeping a shit ton but other than that im fine

Told @shinraco that she should code her discord bot to respond to all mentions of Fullmetal Alchemist by repeating “Fullmetal Alchemist” like the commercial breaks and she ended up having to shoot the bot dead just to stop what we’d created

sorry if i'm gonna be quiet for a while. my country recently introduced laws that make it so that in order to use social media to the fullest (not being able to view ns/fw content and in a few cases, not even having access to dms), i HAVE to give the sites my id/face scan.
it goes into effect july 25th. it'll probably effect here too, since this place allows mature content (tho not full on ns/fw)
i'm very distressed about it bc i might end up not even being able to talk to my internet friends. i don't really have any irl ones
if i have to disappear on most socials by then, you know why.

#in my family the roots of our wisdom teeth never stop growing#i really do mean never the one family member that waited to have them removed had to get very invasive surgery+#+bc the roots got tangled under her jaw and in her jaw muscles so she got lockjaw#i need to get mine removed bc of that just in case but im so sad to because they grew in literally perfectly#admittedly my wisdom teeth are now the same age hers were when that happened [mine grew in when i was 13]#and i've yet to experience lockjaw#so that gene probably skipped me
