Mini Hiatus Announcement:

I will be readjusting to a different work schedule plus I am currently editing about 4 vidoes at once for my youtube channel. With everything going on, my activity will be very low. Once I finish editing, which I should be done by Sunday, I will slowly ween myself back into it as I readjust to the schedule. I’ll still be here when I feel like it and I’ll probably drop by on my off days when I’m not editing, but just expect my activity to drop significantly at least until the 12-15th. I know for  a fact I’ll be back by then.

It had been 3 days since the war had officially ended. But it had been only 3 hours since they had all gone to the graveyards. Only 2 hours since the stones were placed. And only 1 hour 3 minutes since they got to say goodbye to all the ones they had lost during the horrible event. So many good shinobi were lost. But the one that had hit him the hardest was Inoichi and Shikaku. The parents of his best friends. Shikamaru was standing strong, though he had already consoled his friend in private. Ino was another matter. He wasn’t sure how she would react. She was shedding tears at the funeral. But now that they were away from the crowds, he wasn’t sure how to cheer her up. What he could do to ease the massive void in her heart. What he could possibly offer to ease the small shake in her hands she didn’t want anyone to notice as she tried to hide back tears.

They were walking down the path to her home, he had offered to walk her home so she didn’t have to do it herself. Lord knows she needed someone there.

“Hey... Ino...” He looked down, rubbing the back of his head. Shikamaru was easy to console. But with women he knew you had to be much gentler. “Ummm... I’m sorry.. I.” He was a little lost. Unsure of what to do, instead of offering her something grand. He just opened his arms. Small tears welling at the corners of his eyes. “I’m so sorry”
