This video has been made by Mycomputerworks & Macrehab to show how we go about a 'forever fix' for the failed backlight flex cable which affects EVERY 2016 & 2017 Macbook Pro. Due to public pressure Apple were forced to open a free repair program, but only for the 13" 2016 model, not the 15" nor the 2017 which all have the same flex cable which by design is too short hence it breaks after the screen has been opened fully multiple times. The symptom is either a stage light effect along the bottom of the screen, or as seen here on opening the screen more than just a few degrees the image just disappears. 01403 263007
