Every October we hand off our account to a handful of the great Agriculture Institutions our great state has to offer. This year we are excited to welcome @wtagriculture, @ttucasnr, @aglifesciences, @tarletoncoaes and @sfa_atcofa to the My Day in Texas Ag community. #mdita #igtexas #texasagriculturematters #collegemonth https://www.instagram.com/p/BoUhGgphPRg/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=14erbdegw1wdt

Well folks it has been an honor to host #mdita this week! There is no other industry in this world I’d rather be apart of, and no better manner of people I’d rather spend my life with. Follow me on Instagram @txagpilot602, and follow Rollin’ Coal Photography on Facebook! “I believe in the future of agriculture, with a faith born not of words, but of deeds...” #texasagriculturematters #texasfarmfamily #igtexas https://www.instagram.com/p/BoSiul8Bvtn/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=8ec27u8ko78k

Out checking the fields with my little boy. He might not understand everything we are doing, but he will learn more about it as he grows older. He is the future of Agriculture in this country. If we don’t share our love of agriculture with the next generation, who will continue to grow the finest fiber, food, and biofuel the world has seen? It’s starts at home folks! @txagpilot602 #texasfarmfamily #texasagriculturematters #igtexas #mdita https://www.instagram.com/p/BoRoYSsBYR4/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=v6q8op7juyjo

Here is about a minute when I hooked a GoPro up to my helmet and connected the chord into my audio panel on my Air Tractor 602 two weeks ago applying growth regulator to Pima cotton south of Big Spring! #underthewires #MDITA #igtexas #texasagriculturematters #texasfarmfamily https://www.instagram.com/p/BoH5qfFh94w/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=gj6uve8bg65k

📷 by @tomanekfarms ・・・ I managed to get a few pictures of the lavender before the storm hit this past Thursday. The Grosso is starting to produce long stems, which will make beautiful bundles. #tomanekfarms #westtexas #gillilandtx #knoxcountytexas #MDiTA #livelovelubbock #lavender

The application of tried and true methods from a hundred years ago are hard to find in modern agriculture. We have had to adapt to changing demands and a progressing world. The innovations in agriculture allow us to feed and clothe more people than ever before and I’m thankful that we have such technology at our fingertips. But there will always be a place for tradition and nod to the past. I believe that as we go forward, we can look back with pride at our rich history. #mdita #mydayintexasag #texasagriculturematters (at Plains, Texas)

People say the cowboy is a dying breed. Well, they must have never been in West Texas because cowboys are alive and well! I’ve spent my whole life working on these crews, and to photograph these guys is such an honor. Each spring, all the cattle are gathered and the calves are worked. Some ranchers have adopted a system of chutes and alleys, but out here on the Llano Estacado, you can’t get any more efficient than dragging calves to the fire! #mdita #mydayintexasag #texasagriculturematters #igtexas (at Plains, Texas)
