- he made a shitty joke in a podcast about pedophilia 6 years ago

- later on in same podcast: “Having sex with or touching kids is disgusting”
- Shane made a video to clear his name LINK
- “I am not a fucking pedophile. I Shane Yaw…go on record saying I am not a fucking pedophile”
- he was literally a csa victim (explained in vid). y'all are really accusing a csa victim of being a pedophile? for retweets? alright.
- apologized for making a bad joke, but explains that video of him is edited to make it seem way worse then it actually was
- shane makes conspiracy style videos and has addressed actual pedophiles in Hollywood. here // here // here // here
shane is problematic. he has made racist, homophobic, fatphobic, and more style jokes in the past (which he addressed in the video). I am not excusing him for making jokes like this. but unlike a lot of youtubers he seems to be very genuine and takes criticism seriously, and doesn’t make offensive content like he did in the past. he learns from it. so yes, he is problematic and admitted to making shitty jokes, but no, he is not a pedophile and you should stop saying that. thank u this has been my ted talk.
