Thank you for explaining it! It makes total sense now. I think maybe I didnt understand the difference 100% is because I can't tell the difference between a crush and hyperfixation.. So maybe the hyperfixation would be very similar to having a special person as well. Maybe for people with adhd, hyperfixation can appear in both?

I am not diagnosed with autism, but I have adhd and for me I have a favorite person and a crush and they're not exactly the same person.

So I wonder if its the same for adhd and autistic people? 🤔
