âShe was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile even if she was sad. No, she wasnât beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul.â

Oh yes!!!! Give us that!
Officially starting a petition
To demand that Bring Him To His Knees by @willhavetheirtrinkets be made into fully animated movie or series.
Because I NEED to see a 6â4 tattooed Auror Draco with his rings, glasses, and broom thighs brought to life on a screen.
Because I NEED to see the adorableness that is a married Pansy and Harry Potter brought to life on a screen.
Because I NEED to see the wonderfulness that is a Ministry of Magic Employee Hermione Granger and her friendship with roommates Pansy and Harry Potter brought to life on a screen.
Because I NEED to see the wholesome friendship between Draco, Pansy, and Blaise come to life on a screen.
Because I NEED to see all the buildup of sexual tension, mutual pining, sexy times (both in and out of the sex club), intimacy, and relationship between Hermione and Draco unfold on the screen.
Because I NEED to see a Head Auror Harry Potter, Auror Draco, and BAMF Hermione Granger work together on a murder mystery case play out on a screen.
Because this masterpiece deserves to be adapted on a screen!

Amen. Honestly you just speak the truth here.
I rarely get personal here, but Iâve seen people talking about shipping Dramione and not shipping them any more, and it prompted me to share my thoughts.
First of all, donât put the equals sign between racism and pureblood doctrine, or shipping Dramione and a Nazi man/Jewish womanâs romance. Apart from huge ideological differences between the two, the biggest and most obvious contrast between them is that racism is real, and the Holocaust really happened, whereas pureblood supremacy only exists in the books and has never hurt anyone in real life because â what a surprise â witches and wizards arenât real, and Voldemort had never been born. So please stop diminishing the tragedy and suffering of millions of people to justify your opinions and dislikes.
Donât tell women what they can and cannot read. So many people think themselves woke and their actions politically correct without realising how terribly misogynistic they are in fact. Let women choose what they read, let them make a decision on their own, and donât assume they canât tell a difference between reality and fiction. Because â NEWS FLASH â theyâre perfectly capable of differentiating between the two!
If you want to hold fictional characters accountable for their actions, at least be consequential and hold all of them accountable for what theyâve done, not only those who fit into heteronormative culture. Donât omit LGBTQ+ characters, judge them too, theyâre capable of making bad things as well and their being in a non-heterosexual relationship or being part of LGBTQ+ community doesnât undo their deeds in that fictional world. The same goes for fictional women. Donât excuse their actions if you decide to play morality police. HOWEVER. In the end, it is a fictional world, and they are all fictional characters, so you can root for them even if theyâve done horrible things (yeah, you can root for Lord Voldemort for all I care), just donât be selective about your judgement to fit your agenda/make others feel guilty about who they like or ship.
Donât make others feel guilty about or ashamed of who they ship. And donât feel guilty about or ashamed of who you ship. Thereâs nothing wrong with you even if you like the most vile and twisted fictional characters.
Now on a more personal note. Why do I ship Dramione? Most of the time, I donât know, I donât think about it, I just do. Obviously, I love their dynamic, I love the enemies to lovers trope, and I love their bickering. Deep down Iâm a hopeless romantic and love the idea of star-crossed lovers. And I simply enjoy brilliant writing that Dramione authors offer to fans. But if I reflect upon my reading choices, I believe theyâve got something to do with the fact that most men in my life have repeatedly disappointed and hurt me, and Iâm not sure if I ever will be able to build a romantic relationship with another human being, especially a man. In fiction, everything is possible (and when you think of it, in reality too; life writes the craziest, most improbable stories). So let me have one of my favourite book heroines fall in love with a man who had been a prejudiced arsehole but redeemed himself and now loves her unconditionally and is someone she can always rely on. Let me have my imaginary utopian world in which a man is capable of a profound change.
And yeah, I read dead dove fics too. He that is without sin among you and has never seen a horror or a thriller, let him first cast a stone at me. (Donât take this too literally; itâs not a sin to enjoy dark stories.)
Long story short: SHIP AND LET SHIP. Shipping should be about having fun. If you donât like it, donât ship it, but donât try to take away fun from ships other people love, and donât try to make them feel guilty about their favourite pairings.
And I canât believe how some people still donât get this.

Heat and shadows
Hermione tiptoed across the dark hallway toward the soft golden glow filtering through the half-open door of the study. She paused outside the door, tugging on the hem of her long knitted sweater as the night chill bit the skin of her legs; everything was so silent that she could hear the faint crackling coming from the fireplace. The young woman quietly pushed the door with her fingertips.
Dracoâs profile was cut against the high, flickering flames as he stared into the fire, which cast spidery shadows on the wall opposite. His hair was slightly tousled on the side of his head â sign that he had been repeatedly running his hand through it. The crystal decanter of Firewhiskey sparkled merrily on the massive wooden desk behind him, though he didnât seem to have poured himself a glass. The clock on the mantelpiece showed half past two.
It was one of those nightsâŠ
Hermione stepped over the threshold, advancing into the room.
âItâs a bit early, donât you think?â
Draco swiveled his armchair in the direction of her voice, the corners of his lips lifting ever so slightly as she perched on the edge of his desk and smiled down at him. His features looked even more drawn in the half-light.
âI had work to do,â he replied in the same low voice.
Hermione quirked an eyebrow, casting a glance at the papers next to her.
âItâs Sunday tomorrow,â she remarked softly.
âRightâŠâ
Draco pushed his chair to the desk and let himself go against the high back, looking at her with a seemingly serene expression and unaware that she could see the restless glint in his eyes.
âYou are not coming back to bed, then?â murmured Hermione, running her gaze over his fresh clothes.
âIâm not tired⊠But you should definitely sleep in.â
He winked at her, briefly brushing his knuckles against her shin. Hermione shrugged nonchalantly, the motion making one side of her asymmetric sweater slide off her shoulder, baring half of her body. She didnât bother to readjust it.
âIâm not tired either,â she hummed.
She glanced at Draco out of the corner of her eye; his eyes had widened a little and his lips parted unwittingly as his gaze raked the expanse of her suddenly exposed skin. Hermione leaned forward, smiling sweetly as she shifted to prop one of her feet on his knee, slowly sliding it up his thigh.
âAnd I was rather hoping I could convince you to go back to bed with meâŠâ
