My bf just finished 999 and I have never seen so much animosity towards Ace that his presence alone lowered my bf's overall opinion of the game (he gave it an 8/10 just because of Ace). Like, he's so pissed that Santa didn't kill him in the end. The funniest part is that Ace was among his top 3 faves in the game (alongside June and Santa) up until the Safe ending.

At least he likes all the other characters (except for Kubota)
