Ah okay, I understand! I've wanted to have a pen pal since about middle school, so it's great finally getting to c: Oh & since you mentioned your mom, my mom told me she had a pen pal from Egypt in high school (but in her French class ironically LOL)

omgomg that sounds so cool though!! there’s something really enchanting about getting a letter that traveled halfway across the world!

haha my mom’s friends still send her a monthly snail mail letter from korea and every time she gets one, she gets a little teary and immediately starts writing one back. every time i watch her do that, i wish she could talk with her friends face to face

I don't wanna butt in or anything, but I just wanted to tell you that it's never too late to change your college major. I changed majors halfway into my third year, so I'm going to graduate later than I expected, but I'm a lot happier where I'm at. I've been thinking about changing my major since my first year, but I didn't do it until later. I don't really regret that because I learned a lot of things, but changing majors is completely normal. You've got nothing to worry about. 😊

Thank so much for saying this... for a while I was so worried, thinking my parents would be mad, so I kept quiet about wanting to switch until about a month or so ago, and then I kinda broke down about it to my mom and told her how my grades have gotten worse due to not being motivated with what I’m doing and that I felt like a disappointment to everybody back at home who still thinks I’m doing really great and that I’m still happy in school, because I’m not... and then there’s the whole fact that my dad has been spending his money on this school, which is expensive I should add, only for me to want to change my mind... but finally I worked up the courage to tell him too, and surprisingly he actually wasn’t mad, and actually he and my mom both support my decision.

I’m thinking of studying abroad... but the problem now is coming up with a game plan; now my dad wants to know whether or not I want to attempt to finish my degree where I am (I still have a year left) or if I want to just withdraw from this school, and if I decide to do that, what will I be doing in between trying to enroll to another school, what backup plans I have, how I’m going to pay for life overseas, etc. and I’m thinking maybe I could get a job back at home and save up some money to help me pay for another school.

And the other problem I guess is that, while I really think I’d enjoy studying abroad (it’s Japan I’m considering btw), I’m really nervous and I know moving to another country would be a huge step... I know I’ll love it there, but I know I’ll miss home and my friends and that scares me a lot... but I don’t want to shuffle my feet on this decision. I’m sorry, I know I’ve said a lot and I really seem undecided on everything right now, but basically I want to try this... but what’s making this hard is my fear of branching out away from home, and my fear of other friends and relatives not being able to understand my passions/visions... but thanks for listening to all of this, again I really appreciate your message... ♡

[ARTICLE] 150715 BEAST Unveils All Member Individual Teasers for New Album “Ordinary”

Ah, how handsome.

BEAST is coming back with a new album, titled “Ordinary,” on July 27, but before it does, the members are teasing us with individual preview images that have fans swooning.

BEAST started to release the individual member teasers some hours ago and has now finally completed the set. In the teasers, the members look dashing in well-tailored suits, bringing together classic dapper and contemporary chic.

“Ordinary” is BEAST’s eighth mini album and is said to contain songs in a diverse range of genres that tell the stories of the “ordinary” and normal lives of the members. The album is due out on July 27, 0:00 p.m.
