New research says that zebra patterns aren't made to "disorient predators", yes it looks a little doozy but even with those patterns, zebras still get bodied by lions and hyenas and whatnot, so the theory is a bit outdated. But new studies found out that zebra patterns are to deter horseflies, flies in general really...basically the patterns confuses flies or something...so the outdated studies isn't...wrong, it did deter horseflies who prey on zebras but not like what you think what a zebra's predator is...which is a lion, or a cheetah, leopard, a crocodile. So not the usual suspects of zebra predators, but flies...because flies are a nuisance to every animal. And give you diseases (mosquitoes)
So that's why i wanted to redesign the zebra suit, basically it's just a horse suit but with a view tweaks. The reason why is that each suits have a power, and a zebra's power and any equine powers are their strength, not their zigzag patterns, but it's their powerful back legs, horse bucks are so powerful it could instantly give your head a permanent knockout basically.
Also their teeth can be an offense too but...i don't wanna completely turn him into the horse suit basically

I overall hate the suit in general, the whole point of the creature power suit is that you "transform" into an animal, even if it's anthro it still has to resemble an animal they are turning into.
But the zebra suit? Literally what is THAT. what is that.... it doesn't have ears, tails, the only "animalistic" feature is the damn hooves on his legs that's IT. This is just a fucking suit with a funky hairdo bro i'm tired

Helloooooo!!1!!
I've been thinking for a while about telling a little bit of Bea's lore. To begin with, at the age of 15, she is an infitrade of Zach in Tortuga, being part of the team of kratt kids. She wears a disguise so as not to be discovered, behaving nicely with the whole team in general, having a lot of trust with Aviva. Bea took advantage of the team's trust in her to steal, note and take pictures of Aviva's inventions still in process, as well as taking information from the Creature power suits. She never liked animals, she was disgusted, repulsed and afraid of them, but she pretended to be an animal lover obviously lmaooo
The team ends up discovering her when they go inside Zach's ship to retrieve a leopard cub that he would use in one of his inventions. There Bea stops being a spy, being a self-confessed villain, working for her father and for her own plans and projects.

Bea managed to steal an animal disc, but without having the suit she had to build one.. it didn't go well haha.

Bea Concept
I was thinking about it and it seemed cool to put some arachnid robotic prostheses on her. She uses them to grab things and capture animals.
I'm in exams lately :C, but I would love to draw her interacting with the brothers or other villains (even ocs). Hope u like it <3

Do you have any random details about Bea? Lore that you haven’t shared? :)

yep! Bea has her own “Zachbots”, they are sort of cheerleader robots, with saws in their hands simulating pompoms. They can only levitate and cut things for the moment lol

(For chris) if you had a sword, which do you think you'd have?
Hmmm, good question. I'm not a very good expert at swords but, i'd pick a rapier sword. They look very cool.
Infact, i once held a real viking's sword a few years back when i was visiting a museum. I had to be careful however, because it was fragile. It was an amazing experience. It's been a while since i've gone to a museum...maybe one day.

I adopted this adorable husky pup from a shelter back in 2009, he was an energetic little fellow! I went and named him Tugger since he loves to tug on things. That name lived on since he LOVES to sled, huskies are such perfect sledding and winter companions.
He spends most of his time with mom but i occasionally bring him to our icy adventures, and mom would say he's a living alarm clock. Miss him dearly. Rest in peace Tugger, may you endlessly sled in the afterlife.
