quirk explanations

i know that i have a few oc’s, so i’ll explain their quirks :)

akito todoroki || bifurcated

this quirk is very similar to shoto’s “half-hot, half-cold”, but has a few differences. first, the elements are on opposite sides, so the fire is on the right side and the ice is on the left side. second, he can not only generate those elements, he can manipulate them as well. it is very weather dependent, so in winter it’s easier to use his ice and in summer it’s easier to use his fire

parker brightly || tidal attraction

he can alter the gravity of anything he wants to. this means that he can make things float or, he can make them “fall faster”/make them harder to move. this feeds off his own stamina, though, which affects the power of his quirk and the amount of objects he can use it on.

avery brightly || adaptive response

again, self-explanatory. her quirk allows her to adapt her body to any situation in milliseconds. it allows her to change her body colour to blend into her surroundings, her body temperature, and allows her to gain a resistance to the elements when needed

akari bakugo || ignition

very similar to katsuki’s “explosion”. she is able to grow flammable sweat on her hands. the sweat won’t explode/combust on contact, it’ll only ignite/explode by her command. her quirk gives her a heat tolerance and makes her immune to the explosive force created from the sweat. it can get “too hot”, where her body becomes less responsive until she cools down.
