Any inspiration from your ocs?

Well, at first- not really. But as plot has gone on yes oddly enough.

I’ve always loved the whole “non human who wants to be human” idea *probably my own neurodivergence shining through. And my previous special interest was Scaramouche from genshin impact, so I think he may have subconsciously effected small parts of immi.

Immi and Imogen’s early relationship may have also been slightly shaped by my hyperfixation on ‘The glass scientists’ - a webcomic thing about a sort of version of Jekyll and Hyde- though this was also not intentional.

Along with this, parts of shadow milk cookie and pure vanilla and eternal sugar cookie and hollyberry from cookie run kingdom have inspired *parts* of apathy / immi and the directors dynamic.

I’m sure the elephant in the room is chonny jash. I was first hyperfixated on chonny jash back in September 2024, specifically heart mind and soul, so I think I may have unintentionally let a bit of that seep in in the early parts of Imogen and Immi’s relationship ( mind and heart ) , however as the performance played out, I began getting interested in chonny jash’s music again, (as evident by my profile here I assume) and then I think I ended up accidentally sort of being inspired by HMS again ( Immi being like heart in some ways, Imogen as soul and the director as mind)

so… in short, yes, often unintentionally :”D. I like things a lot and they often seep into my own thoughts without realising / realising later. I’m also a huge maladaptive daydreamer- so a lot of songs have formed scenes in my mind and thus sort of inspired things?

if you think something I write reminds you of something else, it very may well have been my brain accidentally making a reference ^_^

being Soul must be exhausting. spend time with your sides but don't spend too much time with your sides. also the amount of time spent with each one has to be equal to the amount of time spent with the other or else they will start thinking you're favoring one over the other. always be on the lookout for them, especially if they're currently in the same room because if you look away for too long there's a 50/50 chance they'll start beating the shit out of eachother. but also don't look out for them too hard or else they'll start getting scared (they think you're being too hypervigilant and paranoid) (you are, but that's besides the point). if you somehow get involved in one of their arguments (does not matter how stupid the argument is) you have to stay impartial or agree an equal amount of times with each one. if you say both are wrong they will get mad. if you say both are right they will get mad. you have to micromanage every single interaction you have with them because if you do it wrong they will think you're either favoring them and will agree with everything they say next or that you Hate them with no inbetween whatsoever. it's like playing The Sims 1 but in real life
