Chapter 24's card is the Wheel of Fortune!

The Wheel of Fortune is about the cycle of change. Life is never a straight path through, it's a gamble of ups and downs that can take you in all sorts of directions. This card is telling you big change is coming or occurring, with bad luck potentially coming to an end or a return to normalcy after a streak of good fortune. These changes are out of your control, and you need to accept whatever comes and move forward. Try to have hope for things to get better, fate will be on your side as long as you believe in the good coming your way even if the path to it is difficult.

Be willing to reach out for help, be it from those you know, those you admire, or from the divine. If you are willing to accept aid, your fortune will be much more likely to improve.

Remember that actions have consequences, and when you're cruel bad things will likely come your way, as opposed to the rewards of being a kind person. Someone will be getting what's coming to them, good or bad.

Reversed, the Wheel brings misfortune and resistance. If things have gotten bad, you need to reflect on why and try to figure out a solution after taking responsibility for whatever lead you here. So long as you resist change, you will only make things more difficult for yourself. This is just something you'll need to accept in order to move on.

Alternatively, the reversed Wheel may indicate the end of a cycle. Perhaps you've realized you've been stuck for a while, and now it's time to make a change.

Cherish what moments you have as they come, for you never know how long they'll last.

Author Comment: And this marks the end of season 1 of My Magic Grandpa. I plan on doing a bonus chapter as an in-between, then will continue on to season 2. However, at this point I am going to be taking a hiatus from drawing My Magic Grandpa so I can get ahead on scripts first. I'm not sure how long this hiatus will take, but I am hoping to start posting the bonus chapter in 2026. I will still be posting content on patreon, mainly concept art and occasional lore.

I'm nervous but I'm also going to try to appeal to comicfury to be allowed back, I'm hoping I have a good enough defense for myself for them to reconsider like some folks already have.

I had a lot of fun with this finale, and there were a lot of last minute changes to make it the best it could be. I hope people really like the Instigator, and I hope the fight and solution were satisfying. Most of all I hope people are excited for more, because the bonus chapter at the end is going to reveal a lot about Coach.
