some of my fave things about the h50 pilot

-the first time we see steve actually smile it’s because of chin ho kelly, and i just think that’s really sweet

-soft danny with grace!!!! adorable!!!!

-when steve and danny meet they go from screaming to soft voice in about 0.1 seconds (”i’m not putting my gun down” // “neither am i”) and yes they go back to yelling v soon but like?? it’s cute

-when steve calls the governor to tell her he found something that changed his mind he’s looking directly at danny and not the box and you can’t tell me that doesn’t mean anything

-danny’s clearly mixed feelings about steve, see: the smirk on his face when steve just lets himself into his house vs. his very much annoyed face when steve goes “we’re gonna get along great”

-”you are the backup.” // “i’m the backup. i hate him. i hate him so much.”

-the “get your finger out of my face” and THE punch!!!! iconic

-FIRST CARGUMENT

-a very rare sight, steve mcgarrett paying with his own wallet!!!

-chin laughing at steve and danny in kamekona’s t-shirts

-“i take it you have the perfect guy in mind?” // “oh yeah” *cuts to kono surfing, the guys saying she’s talented, and then we see kono punch a guy*

-kono being a badass in general (amazing)

-chin and kono being the absolute sweetest

-steve and danny have known each other for like, 2 seconds, but they’re already hanging out and drinking beers together!! also, steve saying “you’re a good father” to danny?? SOFT

-“what kind of cops are you?” // “the new kind” asahfdjfk steve you don’t gotta always be so dramatic my dude

-the first “book’em, danno” + VERY fond steve smile

-steve buying those hotel tickets for danny and grace??? i cry

-the ohana feeling already at the end of the very first episode, so lovely

i just finished watching hawaii five 0 all the way through for the first time and now i have tv show depression. i was introduced to it almost 9 years ago by a friend im not in contact with anymore but i watched it for her and i watched it bc i loved it too. sadly the end wasnt satisfying to me but i still hold them all close to my heart. how do i move on lmao. what were some of your favourite episodes?

I know other fandoms have re-watch parties. We could watch the pilot and one other episode? I have NO idea how other fandoms do this, so if anybody knows how this works…

I do have digital copies of all the episodes. I could put the pilot and the ‘top ten’ episodes in google drive. Then we could take a survey of what the second episode for the rewatch party will be? would that work?

if so, then I need a list of what y’all think the top ten episodes (besides the pilot) are!

Would y’all like to do a bingo card challenge? I could post bingo cards in January, so people have plenty of time to make stuff!

If so, then what about saying anything goes for the bingo challenge—fic, art, photos, vids, etc. What do y’all think?

Another thing that might be fun is all of us doing ‘3 recs and 10 things’ posts that day:
