BJD sculpt by Manas Workshop house artist, based on the painting of book cover page called "Rib of a Hermanphrodite" by famous Takato Yamamoto. The BJD really brings out Yamamoto style of "Heisei Aestheticism" which includes the subculture elements of Japanese rope art, skeletal corpse, vampire and monster. In the collision between sex and death, he manage to blend his art with human desires with fear.
