The Sixers are such a poverty franchise. I hate how they always find a way to lose but again their last championship I wasn’t even born so there’s that.

High Vis // Trauma Bonds
I wish I could say Somеthing sane to wash away And annihilate the trauma that wе save It might take just one Reason inside to carry on Or something sharp to cut these trauma bonds

What was the most memorable moment you had with a stranger that you never saw again?
This was one of the thinking questions I gave to my high school students and it really sparked some intriguing answers.
For me it was hands down the time I went to see Counting Crows and Dashboard Confessional at the Borgata in Atlantic City in 2023. I was lined up waiting to get up to the escalator to enter the venue. I had your basic $25 dollars cheap seat way in the back ticket. Meanwhile, a man politely came up to me and said "Hey I notice you're by yourself, would you like a VIP ticket to this show?" Stunned, I said "Are you sure, yes of course". He explained to me that his friend's wife was 8 months pregnant and unable to join them tonight. I quickly met the other two people in his party and we instantly got along as I introduced myself to them all. They were from Delaware so we bonded over Philly sports and talked about the bands we liked.
We instantly got to head up to the venue and are put right next to the stage. I'm telling you right there up front as the guy divulged to me that it was a $350 dollar ticket that he did not want to see go to waste. I thanked him numerous times and it was easily one of the most memorable nights I had with people I didn't even know. Both Counting Crows and Dashboard Confessional were fantastic live. I'm kicking myself for not swapping information with them but it was the coolest thing I ever had happen to me and I hope those people are doing well because they were just so awesome.
