We are a little closer than usual this moment. I think you're at the airport in Rhode Island. I'm so excited for you and your mini get away. You deserve this.

This 29th is even more special because it comes around every 4 years.

As sad as I am to admit this to you, this describes where I'm at.

I don't like that she said "I don't love you anymore" that doesn't apply with us. But this describes how I'm feeling at this phase of my life.

I love you always, and still, regardless of the pains of our past, the distance in our present and the joys of our future. You are memories that have shaped me and that will guide me through this. I'm not sure who needs this more at this point or how this really started this time. This distance took on a life of its own, which tells me it's God driven. I'll trust it. I don't want to be in charge anymore. I've never stepped out of your way like this before and it hurts me to hurt you. But we both know this is necessary.

I still feel you. I still need you. You are my first and last thoughts And many in between, everyday. That will never change.
