I have started up a new blog titled "where in the world is..." inspired by the game that I use to play at my primary school during my infant days. This game gave me the desire to travel and see the many sights of the world - even at such a young age.

23.07.11 - The Grouse Grind Round 2

I wanted to do the gruesome Grouse Grind one more time before I left as I really wanted to accomplish the vertical hike in under the 1 hour mark. Within 5 min of the hike I was totally regretting my decision to do it again as it is one helluva physical challenge but I pushed and persevered til' the end. I took out my Iphone stopwatch from my bag when I reached the top and to my delight and relief I saw the time 57min 35sec YEEESSS!!! needless to say I was one happy hiker at the peak of Vancouver :)

18.07.11 - Manchester City V Vancouver Whitecaps

It was a really awesome English soccer atmosphere at Empire Field for this game. Seeing one of the most wealthiest football clubs in the world in action was pretty cool to witness even though I really dislike Man City as a club. I am a Liverpool fan so I'm not too happy that Man City were on top of us in the EPL ladder last season. I really envy the depth and talent of their squad but however much they spend on their team, they ain't gonna be as good as Liverpool in the upcoming season :)

Anyway back to the game.....it ended 3 - 1 in favor of Man City but the Whitecaps were 1 - 0 going into half-time which was definitely a good effort from the boys.
