"It should be me who is sorry. It was my family who brought so much damage to yours." Point blank. It is kind of him to feel sorry, blood is blood and while her mother was never the best mother, she was still that, the woman who birthed her and took care of her for the first years of her life. But time and distance had taken a toll on her and Myrcella thinks she will be able to do what she must without shedding a tear. "I hope you find your peace and home after all of this. You deserve it, Robb." And she leaves the titles aside for a moment.
She will allow it so, a boy and a girl, speaking, without the weight of his crown and the future cloak she will have to wear. She smiles briefly at that, standing up as well and fixing up the plies of her dress. Too dornish for the weather they were meeting but regardless, she endures. "You know, in Dorne, the Sand Snakes tried to teach me how to use a sword and many weapons, but I was always a bad student. The best they could do is a dagger." Not the best protection but it had helped save her life before. Ser Arys Oakhart lost his life protecting hers and she intends to make the best of it.
"But despite what you say, I do wish we see each other again after all of this. Peaceful times, hopefully. See the time pass by." Peace would be nice, and she would not mind seeing the North again, perhaps when Winter passes. But that is no longer part of her responsibilities. "To think I had such a crush on you when we were in Winterfell. You can boast to your lords about that. The new Queen blushed like a maid dancing with their now king. It would make for a nice bard song." A little tale of courtly love that never came to be. She would love to have one and perhaps she would make it so. "May your Gods be kind to your family this time."
Robb looked over the would-be-queen, his gaze solemn as he took in the Baratheon colors, the coat of arms. He had been named after her father--or at least, the man she had been raised to believe was her father. He did not envy her circumstances. Though Robert Baratheon had been a great disappointment, from the stories his father told, he had been a beast of a man once, a fighter of legend, a man who stood for justice, who took down the mad, cruel king, and whose enemies quaked to hear his name. It had been an honor, they told him, to be named after such a man. Had she felt the same, seen her father has a beacon of all that could be right and just in the kingdoms? In truth, the man who had come to visit Winterfell all those years ago had been like meeting a dog after being promised a direwolf. But the Baratheons had been a strong, respected house all the same.
Once, they might have united their houses, put all this blood shed to end with their own marriage. But they had their own kingdoms to rule now. He could attempt an arrangement between she and Bran, but would she consider that an insult, to be offered the hand of a cripple? Her uncle, Tyrion, had been kind to the boy once, and Robb had not trusted him for it. He had learned early on to distrust all Lannisters, and he had held a grudge against the house for as long as he could remember. But he was tired now--tired of the fighting, tired of the suspicion. He had seen too much of the world now to still believe that all men's lives were decided for them by the last name they bore or the sins of their fathers--or mothers--before them.
"For what it is worth, I am sorry," he said softly. It was not the voice of a king this time, not practiced and courtly and regal; it was a young, tired boy, talking to a girl. "Sorry that it has come to this. I do not envy the decisions you have had to make. Both our houses have suffered great losses. I wish it were not so." He stood. At her last words, he smiled softly. "I don't know. Used the right way, I hear a needle can just as easily become a sword."

"And I'm so grateful for your help that I must thank you every morning. And night." A whole new world had opened to her. Perhaps she would behave more like a blushing maiden if she had not been raised in Dorne, but she had caught a book or two, heard Arianne's advise when she bloomed into a woman grown and what would happen in a marital bed. Except there is no marriage here, just a man and a woman and Myrcella had taken her chance. It is likely her mother already thinks her ruined, if not by Dorne, certainly by the North. This is her small victory over her, to be allowed to bed who she wants and desires,a nd to be desired back in turn. "It's a kingly thing to do, to help a princess in need. And I have need of you." It has grown since the first time, exploring and seeing what she likes, what she doesn't.
He is the perfect kind of rough, gentle enough for her body to adjust but rough in a specific kind of way that leaves her sighing after he leaves her body. Her breath caughts on her throat as her body is exposed, hit by a breeze that makes her shiver, body pressed to seek his warm. "Hm. My cousin can keep a secret. She will blush and say nothing. Or perhaps I won't let her see, and keep your seed all day, feeling it through the day." She teases, the angle different, odd, but the brush of his cock against her wetness is enough to distract her. "solskinna. What does that mean?" He begins to move, and her hips match his own after a moment of stillness, taking him in, dire need of leaving no room between the two of them. She moans against the side, caught and muffled against her arm and then the pillow, a smile appearing on her lips.
"Yeah? I'm your good girl? You are the first man I take. And you feel so big, so good." Headaches from turning to the side but she wants to see him, one of her own hands aiding in keep her leg open for him. "Harder please. Faster. I won't break, I promise, I'll be good." She promises again, grinding back at his slow pace in response, once, twice, seeking that fire inside his grey eyes. "Please, Jon."
ㅤㅤㅤ❝ AYE, I NEED RELIEF. AND WHOSE FAULT IS THAT? ❞ Jon murmurs into her shoulder. It wasn't long ago that she was just a maiden by her own admission, speaking of dreams and desires that brought him to her bed, but one would never think such of her now with the way she has grown to tempt and tease and pull every string within her reach to drive him wild. His complaints are all in jest, for he quite enjoys this new side of her, all an excuse to sate his own growing appetites. Her bed has become a trap for him; the more he stays, the more he desires, yet he makes his way to her willingly. There should be guilt in this pleasure, knowing that as a king, he should not take this comfort in her, but Jon is tired of guilt. It holds no weight against her soft skin, the warmth of her body, the way all those little noises of pleasure that slip from her fill him with pride, how right and natural it feels every time he is inside of her.
ㅤㅤㅤ❝ My fault? I avoided you, and then you told me all of those things you dreamed . . . of course I had to help you with that. What kind of man would leave a princess in need? ❞ He smiles then, a breathless chuckle fleeing, moving his fingers faster in response. Jon hones in on that little bud with torturous attention, waiting to see what reaction he can gain from that sudden burst of overstimulation before he finally relents. But gods, when she speaks, it feels as if something inside of his belly has been set on fire. She asks to be taken, to be filled, and Jon's throat tightens beneath her wandering lips. ❝ How demanding of you, ❞ his voice is full of gravel as he speaks, turning to capture her lips with his own. His hands are already moving, tugging down the top of her nightgown to free her breasts, kicking away the covers from their bodies so he may look down and see her. He takes hold of the apex of her thigh, pulling her body to rest back against his own.
ㅤㅤㅤ❝ What will your maids think when they come to bathe you this morning and find my seed running down your legs, hm? ❞ he teases, kissing at the corner of her lips. Jon's hand slips under her thigh, holding it up to open her wide as his hips angle beneath hers. ❝ Stay relaxed for me, solskinna. This will feel different. ❞ His length rubs against her folds, once, twice, teasing with slight invasions of his tip as he tests her. When he finally enters her, he takes it slow, careful as his hips thrust upward, pushing into her walls with a groan. He stops midway, giving her time to adjust, then pulls back and thrusts gently again until she takes the rest of him. ❝ That's my good girl. I'll fill you up like you asked, just for taking me so well. ❞ Grip tightens on her thigh, and he begins a rhythm, slow and tender at first. ❝ How do you want me, baby? Gentle, like this? Or perhaps I should make you scream a little bit before the rest of the castle is awake to hear.

if her mother would see her now, she could just imagine the look of horror on her face. the realization that myrcella's crush on the once young lord and now king was more than just an infatuation of youth. how could she explain she felt safer around him and men who have no like for her and her family than with her own family and their lies and secrets? her heart skips when his hand finally touches her own and myrcella has to take on a deep breath as she looks forward, chin up under his grasp an she can see clearly in those blue eyes what he wants.
it would change everything. she shouldn't do it. "robb. . .we shouldn't." but somehow, her words are contradicted by the way she complies, her body moving forward and her head lean upward to place her mouth against his own. it's chaste but it lingers on, savoring the sensation of his lips against her own.
there was no word that he could find to describe what was happening between the two of them. in the last few weeks, he has grown to care for myrcella in a way that he never thought he would and that alone was challenging to navigate. add in the fact that their families were actively at war with one another she was just about unattainable. " i don't know, " is the answer he finally gives her. he knows it is not the answer she wants to hear.
but where he lacks in communication, he can make up physically. he notes her reaching out but keeping her distance. so robb wastes no time in taking her hand within his own. upon his countenance, he wears a small smile. soldiers always have something to complain about. if it was not his affections for the lannister princess, it was the way in which he was handling the war. or how shit the food was. impossible to please, so he did not listen to them. tully blue eyes meet her gaze and it is then robb takes a step closer to her. his thumb and forefinger gently grasp her chin, guiding her to look up at him. it is rather obvious when his eyes linger on her lips. " distract me then, myrcella. "

@ashedrose asked: But if you were matched, what do you think he'd be like?
"That would be something my parents would choose. Not so long ago I thought it would be a man like Robb Stark, if you mind keeping the secret." The name is like a ghost that taunts the halls of the Keep, her mother would not be pleased. Winterfell had been lovely when she was a child, and she missed the peace she felt there. "Tall, dark and handsome. A stormlander or northern man. Likely, it would be someone from the Reach. If that is the case, grandsire would think one of your brothers."
But some think Loras is not an option though he was charming and lovely, Myrcella doesn't think she is his type. Willas is older, perhaps too old for her but they had been older prospects in life, and less well spoken. "They say your brother Willas is still unwed, so perhaps we could be sisters twice over."

"I'll have the conditions written and tomorrow we shall sign it then. Dorne also agrees to keep the peace. Their revenge will also be settled with Mother's death." She will be a queen kinslayer now, perhaps the gods will forgive her considering how her mother conceived her ad the way she got away with that lie, a lie that now Myrcella has to push down in everything she does. She dresses in Baratheon clothes and wears a crown alike that of her father, she would likely have to wed a Stormlander to ease them and the prospect is one she does not desire, but Trystane is no longer among them for her to seal that alliance.
"To have the King in the North at my coronation. How flattering." And to think not so long ago, she was the princess and he was the lord that dance with her at Winterfell. She would certainly like to go back to those days, when she was younger and less of a piece to move on this chess play they made. "Unless you offer a northern lord as a suitor for Consort, then the execution and the coronation will be the last we will see of one another."
It's a pity. She remembers the crush she had on him. Dreams of marrying him died many years ago but it felt like a cruel end to a childhood fantasy. Her jest is accompanied with a small smile in turn, shoulders finally releasing the air she was holding in, the scar on her cheek aching with how much she kept her jaw tight. "I have no desire to fight another war. I believe my abilities with a needle would be of no use in one."
Robb nodded. "I will see to it." It was as reasonable and just a demand as any: for her kin to be returned, for the departed that all this strife had created, would at last be put to rest. They might worship different gods and have different customs in the North, but on this they could agree. From what he had heard, her brother had strung up his enemies on the castle walls, placed Robb's father, Eddard Stark, on a spike, and made Sansa look upon it. The very thought made Robb's blood boil, but he would not return the favor in kind. Even his enemies deserved to rest in peace. The fact remained that the boys' murder had been an atrocity from all sides; Robb might not have swung the sword himself, but it was his men who had committed the crime, and so their blood was on his hands. He had executed the men who'd murdered them, and had lost much of his army for it, but still, the thought of those kills haunted him just as much as any battle.
Robb had made a decision that day, drawn clear in the earth the line upon which his kingdom would rest. It was a line he believed his father would have been proud of, one that promised their kingdom would be built upon a foundation of justice. But it had not been a popular decision to kill Lord Karstark. The Lannister boys were his enemies, and yet he had killed his dead friends' father for their sakes. But he could not excuse the murder of innocent children, no matter who made the kill.
"Then I believe we are in agreement." If they left this room as uneasy allies, if they allowed the other to live, they would have two separate kingdoms--and for just how long would be be allowed to rule his? His lords had made him king, and they could unmake him as easily. But if he was going to be king, he had to act like one, to make the difficult choices, the honorable choices--no matter the costs. There was no justice in killing either of the remaining Lannister children, simply because their brother had been a monster. If all men were held responsible for the actions of every relative, they would all hang.
"My armies will remain in King's Landing until Cersei Lannister is executed, and you are formally declared Queen. Then we will go." He may not be serving under her rule, but he had not come this far to leave with the Iron Throne empty. "Gods be good, we need not ever cross paths again." It was a shame, really--in another life, perhaps they would not have ended up on opposite sides of a war. Perhaps in another life, they could have had a bond like their fathers shared or just been two young kids dancing together at a ball.
