today at work a coworker warned me that my patient’s owner let us know her cat is homophobic, meaning he tends to attack gay people violently on sight, which I thought was a joke. but that cat saw me and may have been the angriest cat I’ve ever worked with and DID in fact bite me through Kevlar gloves because he hated me so much

I tend to have cameo shifts very easily whenever I watch any kind of animal media honestly. Especially my heartedtypes/paratypes, foxes and dragons. Monitor lizards, theropod dinosaurs, snakes, owls, vultures, gryphons, I have insect cameo shifts a lot, especially limbs and mouthparts despite not being an insect at all. I had a lion cameo ph-shift recently which was really weird for me since I've never cared that much about big cats and especially lions. Mane and everything. It was cool though.

I get wings on my back sometimes too and kind of consider it a cameo shift since nothing I am has six limbs like that! :> When I have ph-shift of my bird 'types, I feel it on my arms.

Nonhumans of Tumblr, what cameo shifts do you get? I’ve been consistently getting cameos of wings on my back, as well as occasionally a fluke (but orcas are a kithtype of mine), despite being a canine.
