I had no idea Rebecah passed away. I love and use many of her creations. That makes me sad to hear. :(

Affinity Sims

Hello.  I wish I was posting under happier circumstances, but as we all know, Rebecah passed away a short while ago, and now her website, Affinity Sims, is not responding when people come to visit.  I’m worried that it will go the way of many wonderful Sims websites and be gone forever. 

Her page on MTS is still there, but there were many wonderful items on her main website that were not copied there. 

So I am gathering everything I ever downloaded of Rebecah’s and creating an SFS archive. 

I have also made an interesting discovery.  Affinity Sims is there on the Wayback Machine (thank you to the people who archived it when they did), and the links to the images and SFS files Rebecah made are still accessible, you just have to know the workarounds.  So I’ll see if I can download some goodies I never originally bothered with on there.

Hello @princess-arystal21! Terribly sorry for my late reply. Many thanks for the link! I’m so sorry to hear Rebecah has passed away :-( may she rest in peace.

I have quite a few of Rebecah’s downloads I believe, on my pc back home. I’ll be going home around the end of March, will update this post then! In the meantime, here is my sfs folder (as of now, it contains one download from Rebecah which was kindly submitted to me by @cliodhna76!) I will upload the files I have to that sfs folder when I’m home. I’ll contact sfs as well, in case they might be able to help out, since her sfs files are still working.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but there were other creators on Affinity Sims, right? Do we know if they had accounts elsewhere?

1916 Sterling House Catalog-The Senator:

So, i´ve decided to finish some things before building new stuff. I guess i´m starting with this lovely simple yet elegant foursquare.

Based on a floorplan from the 1916 Sterling House catalog, i´ve build this small but comfortable house for a small family. It is filled with original architectural features, modern plumbing, heating/AC, a spacious backyard,fully build basement and a parkingspot for a car.

It's kinda rough, holes here and there but not visible from most angles. The outer metal part was made uclickable for a reason, otherwise it would block sofa functions.

The seat surface is higher than standard sofa, I've adjusted the slots so Sims should be pulled upwards when taking a seat. Due to some kind of random glitch (?) sometimes that might not work as it should.

LindaSims Stuff August-October

Some stuff from Linda's boosty that I subscribed to just to get the solarium, then I realised it was archived and had to pay extra for that, and THEN I forgot to cancel the subscription, so here's the August archive plus some stuff from September and October.

Download at your own risk, some of this stuff is stupidly high poly like the deco but I grabbed these hairs because the polycounts weren't that bad. More images in the archive, there are some outfits and pantless shoes that look stupid high poly if you're into that, poseboxes, hair, accessories, and some deco and functional objects. ALSO I made some personal edits to the solarium which I'll upload separately if you're interested in that, the way she did it is a mess as every colour is a separate object and it's 14k polys.

I'm uploading these because fuck paywallers in general, but especially fuck them for charging for content for a 20 year old game that isn't even optimized for it in the first place, and I don't even think these are her own meshes just converted from other people.

Also I think she just cloned Numenor's tanning bed since I found his signature in her package files when his website says "Redistribution or alteration of any item that can be found on this site is forbidden" LOL

please re-download if you've downloaded this lot before because this lot is now FIXED & playtested. i also added backyards + greenhouse.

this lot have 3 brownstone + joint laundrymat & convenience store.

here's a view of the front of the lot + backyard. the orange brownstone on the right now have a greenhouse!

!!!READ THIS TO MAKE THE APARTMENT FUNCTIONAL!!!

sims 2 is stupid, so the game won't recognize this lot as an apartment your sim can move in unless you delete the two white doors on the left brownstones, the laundromat door, and the door to all backyards. before moving your sims, enter this cheat "boolProp aptBaseLotSpecificToolsDisabled false" and remove the doors like so

then, after your sim moved in, enter the same cheat "boolProp aptBaseLotSpecificToolsDisabled false" and add back the doors before claiming the door. some object may be on the way so make sure to move them out of the way out of the door first, add the doors, and put them back in place. Enjoy!

Open Buffet Tables Functional for The Sims 2

This is a 4to2 conversion from Somik&Severinka, low poly when empty and high poly when they are full (12k each). These 6 tables works like the buffet table in game but they have 10 different food on them. Expect for the Master file, they are all slaved each other so you need to have everything in your download folder for them to work properly.

Taxi Default Replacement for The Sims 2

This is a default replacement for the in game Taxi. This version I made is similar to the Sims 4 one. I removed the "thingy" on the top, leaving just the smaller one, changed the texture and made the glass more clear.
