When i suggested my babies being sister THAT WAS NOT IN MY MIND-

Barachiel’s apology.

Basically I decided to go with a scene of what if Barachiel was feeling guilty for not protecting Haniel from Raziel; Maybe realising too late he could’ve done more to help her, only to have ignored the growing problem or chose to simply believe she would fix herself.

So he’s been feeling guilt for quite some time and finally decides to try and be a better mentor and apologise for letting her down. Not that she’ll mind now that she’s been ‘fixed’, according to Raziel.

I also wanted to give some emotion to Barachiel’s character, that he could have a very caring side.

Phew….took me several hours to make nonstop…hope you enjoy it! 😁

Have my thoughts while I drew these :3 ⬇️

For the first one, I decided to do like a version of the original reference like a dtiys. She was also giving diva so I had to draw her serving. Unfortunately, I admit I traced the comb crown thingy, I was dying trying to get the proportions right and decided to just draw over the original image TT

For the second one, when I first looked at the references given to me, the character felt like they're smart and serious and similar to Mugman. So I just drew a scenario that depicted on what I felt their character was like. I apologize if this was mischaracterization qwq

For the last, is ofc for my bestie Lily 🛐 (and the first one I drew). At first I was going for something romantic, but then I decided to stick with their present dynamic. Their current dynamic is so silly and everything to me and I want to cherish that before we go down the romantic path. I personally favor how a relationship between two characters start out, how they get to know each other and just their dynamic as a duo in general before they get romantic (still applies to platonic only duos). I was going for a scenario where Cuphead intentionally got Lily unknowingly in trouble for fun, then runs off with her to escape punishment time :3

Honestly I was just finding an excuse to practice this new rendering style more before I start commissions (soon, hopefully, very soon, maybe). All in all these were very fun to do :D I might do a part 2 soon so buckle up and ready your horses to save a slot :]
