It is concerningly easy to come up with crossover content for my two hyperfixations (Deltarune and Date Everything) rn. They're literally darkners...

I know some people are disappointed the new secret bosses aren't Small Fucked Up Creatures like Spamton who have a big spectacle of a fight like him, but I actually really like that they're not like Spamton or even Jevil!
It really makes each secret boss feel unique, and makes Spamton's struggles and the giant spectacle that was his boss fight unique to him. He is specially fucked up, he's the only one so obsessed with clawing his way back relevancy that he becomes the mandatory final boss for Chapter 2 in the Wierd Route.

Something about Rouxls Kaard that I've noticed, especially after Chapter 3, is
He's never, ever had his own attacks. Not in the same way other darkners have their own attack patterns.
He's always attacking by:
- Changing the rules of the game (house minigame, all of his chapter 3 fight)
-Using other beings to attack for him (the thrash machine, hired help, elnina and lanino)
-Or attacking with whatever random objects he has on hand (Boxes, a lampshade, a fucking laser pointer)
