Lethal Lion
🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁
This write up today is inspired by this verse of scripture, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:"-1 Peter 5:8 NMV.
The King among beast, oh how he reigns. Lions are so majestic aren't they? With a strut that captivates the landscape these apex predators exude dominance. Clothed in a vesture of sheer intimidation, while utter fear cascades from viewers near by. A walts of assurance, scampering with chiseled flamboyance is a lions game. I've viewed the lion from the distance in my younger days, such a wonder. A captivating creature of sorts, crowned with a glorious mane. Lions are the epitome of confidence, with a roar that asserts its forcefulness.
The aforementioned characteristics are typical of a lion, but our focus today is on what The Word of God describes the devil as. The scripture we are addressing today says the devil is as a roaring lion. We must understand for the average animal, all the lion has to do is roar. A roar makes the jungle aware of the lions presence, his presence alone spreads fear and panic. It is said that a lions roar carries for miles upon miles, so imagine miles of freightened jungle occupants, frozen stiff by a lions roar. I understand the power of the lions roar and its effects on the surrounding jungle. When it comes to the child of God we should live by a different set of rules first off, God has not given us a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). If we find ourselves crippled by fear unable to move when the devil roars, it means that we've bought into his lies of dominance over us. I am not saying the devil doesn't have power, but his power shouldn't work on us and if they do, it tells a story likely founded in fear. The spirit God has given us is one of power, this power activates when devils roar, it's a reminder of the lion in us. Although the devil is as a roaring lion, we must understand that we possess the power of The Lion (Revelation 5:5).
What makes the devil intimidating to some is this next tactic, the scripture says he "walks about". Lions are also known to reign over vast territory and they are usually on a daily patrol protecting their borders. This is especially intimidating because one can only patrol something within its domain and control. The believer has been given the unction to not only patrol but take possession of territory for The Glory of God. We are admonished to resist the devil and he'll flee (James 4:7) this instruction coincides with nature. Territory isn't an inheritance in a lions world, and even if it was, a fight must ensue to preserve what's yours. Natural lions battle on a daily to repossess or to possess the borders of another. In the spiritual the story is the same, we must be prepared to fight the devil ferociously to claim our territories.
The last part of our focus scripture peers into the intent of the devil, it says he's "seeking whom he may devour". If you've watched enough jungle shows like I have, you would have noticed the devil's desire to pray on the weak. Their exist giant cape Buffalo in the wild, gigantic wildebeest and the prey items go on for days. The food chain is jam packed with the biggest of prey items that ought to be appealing to the hunter right? The reality is, the bigger the prey item the greater the resistance. The average lion isn't looking to work to hard for a meal, their tactic is to attack the weak and defenseless. The sick, the young, maimed and even old are preferred targets. We may look at this list of potential victims and realize we honestly don't fit either one, but the devil doesn't stop there. The greatest tactic I've seen enacted is the divide and conquer strategy. It involves the Isolation of a prey item, this is often a last resort when the weak, maimed, old or sick aren't available, the focus is shifted to the isolated. In many situations its hard to watch as the lions circle in this often large prey item that somehow got separated from its herd. There are heroic moments when the herd circles back and pull off a valiant rescue, quite often it's to little to late, and the devouring begins. We should all remember that there is safety in numbers, a lion is intimidating but a herd of flies can be just as intimidating (I'm just saying).
The enemies greatest strategy against us is divide and conquer. Sometimes the roaring doesn't work, the walking about rarely ruffles our feathers, but when left alone and isolated anyone can be vulnerable to attack. The best of us is only as strong as our herd (our team). The numbers that make the team are not always as important as the fact that a team is in place. There exist 2 or 3 man teams more effective than 20 or 30 man ones, don't allow numbers to throw you, stick with folk that know you. Lastly, there is scriptural support for team formation, "Two [are] better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him [that is] alone when he falls; for [he has] not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm [alone]? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken"-Ecclesiastes 4:9‭-‬12 NMV.
The instructions for the way forward are clear, "Be sober and vigilant". We may comprehend a sober (serious) attitude easier than a vigilant (watchful) attitude. When we find ourselves distracted and lost, we can always be found in God's presence.

Wandering Wolves
πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•
This write up today is inspired by this verse of scripture, "Her princes in the midst thereof [are] like wolves ravening (preying upon to devour) the prey, to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
Ezekiel 22:27 NMV
The intent of a wolf never changes, it could be likened unto a leopard changing its spots. The innate desire to stalk and pillage is inescapable. Wolves will be Wolves, even in their most dossal state, lies the precursor to their wrath on often unsuspecting victims. Wolves are some of the most patient stalkers, their endurance is mind blowing. The primary target is often the weak, just like every predator when desperate they rely on numbers to bring their prey to their knees (Hey, I've watched as much wild animal shows as the next person). Wolves are loyal to their pack, and anyone not like them is an enemy and potential food item. Understand what I mean by the term "not like them", A wolf from another pack could be added to a wolf's menu. The loyalty of a wolf isn't tied to its species, even pack ties are fragile and wolves have suffered explosion. Survival is the primary focus and although wolves aren't known to be cannibalistic, scarcity of prey could invoke this behavior.
We have taken a glimpse of some characteristics of a wolf, you may be wondering how we as humans relate. What Ezekial 22 is actually discribing are leaders operating as wolves, leaders that have corrupted themselves for lucre. We see this as a fact based on the decription in said verse, "Her princes in the midst thereof [are] like wolves ravening (preying upon to devour) the prey, to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. It may seem farfetched that a leader responsible for the well being of sheep (in this case) is susceptible to devouring tendencies. All leaders are not the same (quick disclaimer right quick) but are capable of pulling the wool over your eyes, as a matter of fact we are all capable of this atrocity (let's get everybody under the bus). We get caught up when we are to close and distracted. The vantage point of the most seasoned believer can offset their vision. The sober and vigilant are not easily beguiled, it's not as if they are rogues looking for issues, it's just that they try things by the spirit (and I mean rhema and logos). We must not allow the most important issue to escape us, souls are being destroyed. We are destroyed for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6) but when knowledge has come we must embrace it despite the odds. The punishment for rejecting God's knowledge is that He'll reject us. Knowledge comes to liberate the bound, God is counting on us to do our part in delivering our brethren.
We live in the time of the wandering wolf, a charlatan moving in and out of vulnerable sheep folds. God is however faithful and has set up watchmen (and women) who have faces of flint, unmoved and unbothered by the obvious distractions. These men and women aren't after churches or pulpits. They don't crave fame or fortune, not zealous for notoriety and prestige. Absolutely not moved by crowds or men's opinions, they stand on the word of God, planted on The Rock Christ Jesus. They come poised and fully prepared to lay down their lives for The true gospel of Jesus Christ. Declaring The Word of God capable of scattering demons and their hosts for miles. These men and women are standard bearers warding off imposters by The Love of God. The scripture says to resist the devil and he will flee, Love is a great liberator. God can change the heart of the deeply lost and misguided. His spirit can deliver the oppressed and the oppressor. I pray for the Wandering Wolves today, Jesus died for you also. You are in a dark place, but our God came to seek and save those that are lost. We are talking about a love that leaves the ninety and nine to go after the one. While there is life there is hope, we can't wander into a place where God's love isn't already there to rescue us.

The Path of Life
πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§
The inspiration for this post comes from this powerful verse of scripture, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore"-Psalm 16:11 KJV. We are probably most familiar with "In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore", but those lines tell only half the story. When we consider Life, it's a thriving form of dwelling. I believe Life involves purpose, dreams, goals and ambitions. In order for us to fuel these entities we need something Devine. We have been blessed with the capacity to house the resource we need to propell us into our destiny. Deep within us there is a void that exist, we attempt to fill it with many objects, persons, places and things and we find out they don't fit. In a search for satisfaction we find ourselves in what seems like an aimless existence. The truth is at some point, we are all on a search for the answer, a search for the antidote to our universal issue, which is sin. There are some of us that realize that Jesus is The Answer to it all, but there remains a few skeptics, not willing to lay their all on the altar of sacrifices. Saying an absolute Yes to Jesus, means saying a resounding no to so many other options placed before us. This is the true tail of sacrifice, when you've got so many doors to choose from, you decide on that one door. That one path that stands out above all others, as the obvious direction for our lives.
We are here to discuss that path but first off, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death"-Proverbs 14:12 KJV; Proverbs 16:25. The importance of this verse can not be overstated, Proverbs mentions it twice. We naturally have our own way, and if our way isn't verified by the word of God it's a path of death and destruction. Our feelings are often the compass we use, if it feels right it must be right, right? If Life were only directed by feelings we would be in a whole heap of trouble. This is justified by the fact that in order for us to follow our Jesus we must first deny ourselves (Matthew 16:23-25). The next line which is to pick up your cross may scare you but hey, true life is a journey of burdens. We make burdens out to be a curse, when in actuality they can be a blessing. Our Lord Jesus definitely isn't skimming or ducking out on the burden parade, consider these words of His, β€œCome unto me all you who are weary and who are enduring labour, and I will help you to bear your yoke, Take my yoke as your yoke and learn of me that I am meek and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls, β€œBecause my yoke is easy and my burden is light”-Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 NMV. I so enjoy this New Messianic Version of the Bible, you may have noticed I've used it alot of late. These verses in question are interpreted so decisively, our Lord isn't calling us to a burdenless experience, but an experience in which envoles Him laboring with you, after all we are laborers together with God (1 Corinthians 3:9). Secondly and also thirdly, God wants us to do things His way, that explains us swapping out our yoke for His. We then begin to discover our God, He's real humble and lowly and then we learn to trust Him. This means that what we once carried, is now a shared load with The Lord Jesus. It is oh so much lighter than what we are used to carrying because, our God is with us. This is what the new path looks like.
The ultimate question ought to be how do we live on the path of life? The answer is we live in God's presence. I know some of you probably felt anxiety immediately but calm down, there is more. Our minds often run to prayer and fasting as the next expected step, but we often treat these weapons as emergency only tactics. I heard my Pastor say one time after a period of prayer and fasting the church went through, "What if this was a place we lived and not just visited"? That question stuck in my spirit, like you I was the type that went under intense prayer and fasting readying myself for an assignment and when that assignment was over I was back to basics. So often this is were we live, and I'm not attacking intense prayer and fasting in any form, but I believe God deserves more than our attention when we need Him to move through us for His purposes. I made up my mind sometime ago, that I would live above average. We as believers know exactly what that is (I'm not referring to the angels on assignment, where my real people at!) We play with gossip, slander and some white lies and when the weekend comes we buff all that mess off with a weekend fast (that ain't nobody reading this). Deep down we know our weekly activities were foul and we scramble to make it right for our moment in His presence (Church/The Establishment). What if our commitment to sanctity stemmed way beyond a couple of days and carried over throughout our days? We all agree, in His presence is fulness of joy and at His right there are pleasures for evermore, so why do we spend time outside His presence? I believe the obvious answer is within us dwelleth no good thing. If left up to us alone, we would never find the path of The King of Kings. We have so many other ills and demons bent on sidetracking our upward movement on The Lord's path. This is not a point or juncture for panic but focus.
We were privy to the distraction for the last couple days ( Please.... don't make me spell it out). I believe God often suffers these embarrassing happenings as a reminder to us. I believe (1) The Glory belongs to Him alone, His name is literally jealous (Exodus 34:14). I also believe (2) we get caught up with folk and we have to be reminded that although we are new creatures, God is still doing a work and NOBODY HAS ARRIVED, despite their tenior or titles. I don't get excitement out of seeing brothers or sisters fall and neither should you. I do believe however, that we need to be reminded about who deserves The Glory. The presence of God is such a humbling place, constant exposure leaves us totally dependent on His hand. When we have little exposure to His Glory, it shows in our priorities. Have you drifted away from His presence and now you find yourself vying for status and positions in your own strength? We weren't made to survive away from His presence, all that we need is in the secret of His pavilion. There is a path hollowed out for those that dare to walk with God. For Adam it was the kool of the day, I'm here to encourage you to as often as you can, not to just steal away but live your days in His presence.

God Is Good!
✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️
We have all fallen short of the Glory of God, not one of us has made it.Β  Despite our accomplishments, we are insufficient on our own.Β  Our righteousness is mere filthy rags in comparison to God's Majesty.Β  There isn't a person that has mastered everything at every stage, we are all in pursuit of perfection.Β  Life isn't something we've figured out nor have we garnered all of it's limitless knowledge.Β  We are capable of learning something new everyday, with all that we've achieved there is still massive room for improvement.
When I consider all I've said before, I think of our Lord's reply to someone calling Him of all things "Good" Master. Seems safe enough right?Β  Our Lord had a ministry doing good things but, His humility wouldn't let Him take the credit.Β  The Lord handled it this way, "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God"-Mark 10:18 KJV.Β  The humanity that we live in love's to take the credit, but our Lord shows us a classic example of deflecting the credit.Β  When we do things that cause the glory to be directed in our direction, it offers a peak into the condition of our hearts.Β  You could be the biggest giver or support system known to man, but in reality the only entity that needs to know that, is God (Check Matthew 6 for further clarification).Β
When we engage in activities of self promotion or permit broadcasting of our "good" deeds we are actually placing the microscope on ourselves. I think of the sports athlete who after a game exibiting sportsmanship before the masses, gets an opportunity to speak into the camera.Β  The sports man or woman gets up there after a polished performance.Β  Everything didn't go their way but they got the victory and it thrills me to hear them say, "I want to first Thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ", it's all I truly came to see.Β  This may not be the case in the natural, you probably tuned in to see a ball dunked or a football thrown, but the latter glorification of God does a soul good.Β  This was an oppurtunity that could have been squandered in self-indulgence but that humble servant understood their role as vessel for God's Glory.Β  The stages we'll grace serve as a place to lift up The Lord Jesus.Β  When the opportunity comes and it will, we must represent well.Β  One maybe wondering how is this different from someone exploiting someone in need?Β  The plight of any individual shouldn't be a means for publicity, we don't want to ever strip someone of their dignity. I personally never saw our Lord via the word draw attention to anyone's delimna.Β  If you were there and got an eye full good for you, but He never prolonged someone's deliverance until more viewers showed up.
We are going to give an account for how we treat people.Β  In a time when the love of many is waxing cold and relationship maintenance isn't priority, God is taking an account of how we relate to our fellow man.Β Β  I know we have our own way of doing things, but God has a good, acceptable and perfect way.Β  For the mere fact that within us dwells no good thing(Romans 7:18), we've got to acknowledge God's right ways (His righteousness).Β  I know this writing is taking a few directions but please bare with me.Β  I believe its time we've returned the glory we have stolen.Β  The other day The Lord allowed one of His mouthpieces to reveal our business (business pertaining to The Lord and I).Β  I had never met this person before that day and they opened their mouth revealing secret gestures done unto others.Β  Gestures that only God, the recipient and myself were privy to (I was blown away), especially by the intimate details.Β  The size of the gesture doesn't matter to The Lord Jesus, but its the entire intent of our heart that registers in glory.Β  The blessing to be had is the promise attached to what's done in secret, God promises to reward us (Matthew 6:4).Β  Don't get caught up in Grand gesturing, although those gestures are big, they may lack true authenticity.Β  I strive to live my life in the spirit of Matthew 6, I believe its the secret to true blessing.Β  God doesn't need anyone outside our good deeds to be in on what He's doing through you and I.Β  God says specifically, "Don't allow your left to know what your right hand does" (Matthew 6:3).Β  What relationship is as close as your left and right hand? They happen to share the same body, there isn't anything you could naturally keep away from either hand.Β  The level of secrecy is sacred to our God, He wants our deeds done in utter stealth, as to not draw attention to ourselves.Β  If this could catch on, our worlds would be very blessed place.
This planet needs to receive the message that God is Good.Β  We as believers have been tasked with this campaign.Β  It will take sacrifice and self-denial, if we truly want God to get the glory He so deserves. I have always appreciated this verse as it pertains to the sanctity of our giving, "Let not then your good be evil spoken of:"
-Romans 14:16 KJV.Β  The theme of this chapter is Christian charity and unity, so there is a lot being covered.Β  You may not have considered how divided the body is on this issue, this fact is evident by the way we live.Β  There is great disunity due to our willful actions in defiance to God's commands on the secrecy of giving.Β  People can't speak evil of what they don't see.Β  We may have grown tough skin to curtail the back lash, but we must question our methodology.Β  Is God really being glorified?Β  If people are beholding your alms unto men and they are berating it, God surely isn't being glorified. When it's all said and done, what we do unto brothers we do unto God (Matthew 25:40).Β  Why is your sacrifice, your gift or deed done in God's name being attacked or insulted when its supposed to be kept safe from those things? Hidden in the sacredness of secrecy, a place where God's eyes alone can behold it.Β  A Good God doesn't leave us to exploit or desecrate his loved ones, so why do we make God out to be something He isn't, a bad God.Β  God has stated His preference and He prefers we prosper and be in health as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2).Β  At every waking moment and in all of our circumstances, God is Good!

A Woa To The Nations!
⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️
"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith"-Habakkuk 2:2‭-‬4 KJV.
Greetings πŸ™ upon my exit from Seclusion a few days ago, I had two dreams one each night after returning home. I felt a strong urging in my spirit to share (I'll say that at the least), after all, the criteria has already been met as it relates to these dreams being of God and slated to come to pass (Psalm 62:11).
In The first dream, on the first night I looked out to the sea and saw great title waves, at least five making their way to land. The waves were colossal and were at least hours apart, I know this because their impacts were not simultaneous, but they each hit land after a while. I looked on at the waves without an ounce of fear, but there was utter chaos all around. In the midst of the terror all around, a trusted voice or person said to me, "Let's go to Grenada in an attempt to escape the wrath of these waves. I trusted this person and they had my ear, so we made provision to go to Grenada. The Dream seemingly left at that point, the next morning I began to research where Grenada was located. I discovered that Grenada is located at the edge of the Caribbean, this info caused me by the Holyghost to understand that what's coming is poised to impact more than just Grand Bahama or The Bahamas, but the entire Caribbean.
In the second dream on the second night, I stood in front of a ferocious storm. The storm in question was of tornadic proportions and very intimidating. I honestly cowered behind the shelter of a stone structure just in front of the storm. I was familiar with the area so I could tell like the first dream this storm preceeded out of the North. I had no choice but to hide behind the structure while this beast of a storm gobbled everything around it. I saw people panick in terror while being trampled by the storm, but on my right hand stood a familiar face (someone I esteem as a son of God) calm and collected and hiding like I was behind this structure. This site sooth my soul and the dream was over. I believe this dream depicts the posture we must have in the face of the storm. Troublesome times are upon us and we must be found hiding in the secret place of The Lord Jesus.
After reading this you may ask what's next? We must repent and forsake our evil deeds. We must put our desires aside and pray for The Lord's will to be done. I know the notion is we can't possibly handle another storm. The same God that kept us prior to Dorian and post Dorian is able to keep us no matter what storm comes our way. Last but not least, we must be found in the secret place of God, God does nothing without first revealing it to His servants. We all as kingdom citizens have a part to play in ensuring we work the work of Him that sent us while it's day. There is a night coming and when it arrives, no one will be able to work.

When Knowledge Has Come
πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
I have just spent 3 days in a place I thought I would never find myself, subjected, isolated at my lowest state. It wasn't a comfortable experience, I was down mostly the first day. I thought mainly about my loved ones, and how they would have to live with the consequences of my actions. I thought I would never have to go there, I saw myself as invincible somewhat. Knowledge has now come and I truly realize how Frail I am, and I come stocked with a limited time.
I am on a new journey and things can't be the same. I must live more purposeful now, I've got to cherish and hold on tightly to the gift that is another day. Life is truly so precious I've got so much more life to live. My work is not done yet, the reality of this kept my faith alive. Despite popular opinion my journey had already begun (so I knew the devil was angry), I began making minimal changes, changes I hoped would build into big ones. I would be the first to admit, my changes were coming on a bit slow, now I'm thrust into a change I was slowly embracing. If you know me I can be quite hard headed, willful and stubborn (what a way to describe yourself). The Lord knows my way better than anybody else, and He knows it would take this to get my attention, what The Lord does is well done. I heard the comments and input of others and I pushed it to the side, determined to do things my way, quite frankly I had a point to prove. My point was simple, no one has the monopoly on how things should be done. I wanted to make my own way, at all cost. I don't believe anything trumps the arrival of knowledge, when knowledge comes it makes way for calculated direction, so here we are.
I am already better than I was before this incident, for the mere fact that The Lord Loves me, He chastines those that He Loves. He could have left me to die, but I'm tasked with another opportunity to trust Him. I am so Thankful for those that prayed and believed God with me for the spiritual blessings that are already mine. Healing is one of them and complete healing I say. Scriptural validation causes me to take this stand, "It's by Jesus' stripes I'm healed!" (Isaiah 53:5),"Healing is the children's bread" (Matthew 15:26) and "He sent His Word to heal me" (Psalms 107:20).
I am grateful for The Lord's mercy extended towards me. The Lord spoke to me a day or two prior asking for a time of seclusion and consecration, so I kept it in mind. After 3 days in seclusion, I came out grateful for the hand of the Lord that is able to humble the proudest of us, namely myself. The Lord used this time to once again sharpen my spiritual site, in such a short period I've been exposed to God's presence in a brand new way. My prayer for my brothers and sisters reading this is that we all learn to trust Jesus, when we learn to trust Him is when true knowledge comes. I'm thankful for the experiences of others, but sometimes it's just not enough. When it's all said and done, we need our own testimonies of God's saving, delivering and healing power. I can truly say from where I sit that such knowledge is so valuable.

Kingdom Ambition
πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘
There is a principle imparted to us from the very inception of this planet, the principle at hand is entities reproducing after their kind (Genesis 1:12). Before man graced the earth this principle was at play in plants and animals, eventually man would play its part and some of our exploits are quite frankly not like God. My observation is ultimately satisfied by God's word, I have no other measuring stick and I consider any other means to validate my point inadequate. We produce after our kind, step out of the box with me for a minute, beyond our loins and gardening exploits, we are guilty of duplicating ourselves.
We for the most part are aware of our actions, we furnish ourselves with yes men and women (yes I said it). The objective is to garner people who flow with the vision rather than against it. The same is true in every part of society, from the church to the office we shape our environments to suit our goals. It makes logical sense in the whole scheme of things. Who wouldn't want the majority role in sculpting their environment? We spend our time and energies there, so why shouldn't we have peace right? The aforementioned arguments are well within reason, we owe it to ourselves to be fully vested in our dreams. If we don't observe due diligence and guard what God has deposited in our spirits who will?
We are truly discussing the plight of the driven optimist, but I've got a question or two for you Mr or Mrs optimistic, to whom is all of this drive due? God is so faithful, prior to our arrival on this earth, we were packaged with gifts and talents, all of which facilitate God's agenda. The action of ignoring God's instructions place us deliberately outside of God's will. What happens to that energy designated for God's mandate? It is channeled into some other earthly endeavor formulated in our hearts, although it appears successful on the surface, it lacks a divine stamp of approval. We can get lost in man's applause, but our innerman yearns for fulfillment.
The message of the kingdom does wonders to our being, not only does it set us free and fill us with purpose, it causes everything we touch in God's name to glitter as gold. I stand inspired by this verse of scripture, β€œFrom his days until now β€˜The Kingdom of heaven’ has been preached and senseless persons have been tearing it to pieces”-Matthew 11:12 NMV. The greatest Prophet to ever live is up, arrayed in camels hair and a leather girdle. His home is the wilderness and not a comfy king's palace. This Prophet is focused, tunnel visioned and effective. I must reiterate, he doesn't have the trimmings or trappings of a successful minister in the physical, but oh in the spirit the demons know his name. I love the way the NMV version describes this hostile takeover, it's outterwordly the way these men and women react to the message of repentance (I said this was the reaction to the message of repentance right?). Make no mistakes about it, the people tearing the entrance to the kingdom to threads for admittance weren't the highly educated or the social elite, these were the beggars and drunkards. The people in soft raiment with doctorates and a wealth of accomplishments for the most part (and I do mean the most part) scarcely were being converted. These people cared little about the wrath to come, they were after a show. John the Baptist was duplicating himself, the freedom he had received was now being witnessed in others all for The Glory of God. The scripture is clear, that those that hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled. Ambition for things of God is faithfully rewarded, in spiritual and then physical means.
It is understandable for one to wonder how spiritual and physical blessings differ. I believe the state of each blessing is what differs, for instance the foundational spiritual aspect can be likened to a promise (even then a promise is inadequate, because, it's a comfort to a fool). God's word to us is more than a carnal promise, God's word is settled forever (Psalm 119:89). A promise needs its fulfillment to reach succession, God's word stands alone, His word is complete although we can't see it (what a concept to grasp). We know that we can't see it because God's word is spirit, which explains the position of faith also. When we receive God's word it becomes faith unto us, don't believe me ask Abraham (Romans 4:3). What is the true purpose of faith, I believe faith facilitates living in the in between. Why would we need faith if we didn't have to hope for that thing we are waiting on? The truth is it's by patience that we wait on the fulfillment of the God's word. Faith is entirely spiritual, but it serves as God's appetizer served to use while we wait on the manifestation of the physical blessing. A person that is ambitious toward God's Kingdom can appreciate the process of spiritual to physical.
True appreciation for due process is revealed in the mature believer, "Weeping endures but a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). The underappreciated parts of the verse are the often unquoted, "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life." The aforementioned mentioned sentences are so powerful, it causes me to think about a loving parent's discipline afterall, just like a loving father chastines his children, our God and father chastises us. God's anger is not to be viewed as hatred, it's a sign of His justice. Sin carries with it consequences and so does the bout to live holy. They that will live godly, must suffer persecution. In light of these inevitables, what does the ambitious Kingdom of God citizen do? We press on, we stay the course. There is a work to do for the glory of God and no one can take your place. We are assured victory before the battle commences, but in order for there to be victory there must be a battle. I encourage you today my brothers and sisters with Kingdom Ambitions, let us continue to fight the good fight of faith. Our God is faithful to His promises, let us remain faithful to Him.

Life is a state of boomerang effects, we may never know how our previous actions coherent or incoherent helped to shape our future. Nothing happens by accident, as a matter of fact, I would like to go on record stating that there is no such thing as an accident. There is such a term as cause and effect, there isn't just a season for everything under heaven according to Ecclesiates, but there is also a reason for each happening. I am in no way saying that if you do good only good will come to you, I am however saying that all things work together for good to those who love God (Romans 8:28). Perspective is golden, we all get the rain to fall on us, all being the just and unjust. I heard a wise man say that the difference between the just and unjust is although the rain hits both, the just has an umbrella and His name is Jesus. I must remind you that even Job had a wonderful understanding, while at His lowest point of loss and humiliation he is quoted in asking, "Shall we receive good and not evil from God?" (Job 2:10). Job's perspective is so sobering, if God allows it, He has purpose wrapped up in it. This passover season we get to reflect on God's gift to earth through His son Jesus, the payment of our sin's ransom. We didn't get what we deserved, we deserved death. Jesus did unto us, as He would have us do unto others, He became life unto us, now we ought to breathe life unto others.
There are many perspectives out there that deviate from our Lord's way, we are being taught not to feed dogs so that they won't have enough strength to turn around and bite us (someone will get that). We are being taught paranoia, we are believers with the gift of discernment, if a snake is present God will give us the unction to tread carefully. I can't begin to tell you how many snakes I've uncovered by God's holy revelations. I am a person that believes in the benefit of the doubt, and I've always been very trusting. There have been several times The Lord has revealed the hearts of those I have befriended. The level of maturity that is required after such a revelation is supernatural, because now you've got to love as if you don't know who Judas is (if you get my drift). The case and point is all wrapped up in the question, What did our Lord do? The answer is He loved and still loves unconditionally. My brothers and sisters I will admit, I'm honestly not there yet. There are many things we grapple with even as God's new creation, one of our greatest burdens is our memory. When it pertains to moving on past hurt and resentment, this area is a struggle for the open and honest believer. When I say moving on I'll paint a picture for you, our Lord said to Judas at the supper table, "What thou doest, doest quickly" (John 13:27). I believe our Lord had already come to terms with His betrayal by one of His twelve friends, someone that He shared sweet fellowship with. The knowledge I'm describing is nerve racking, how many seasoned believers would have smacked judas with the matza at the least? You would shudder at the audacity of judas to share a meal with you, when he had already made provisions for your demise. Look at our Lord demonstrate how we ought to react, He humbled Himself, even at the death of the cross.
Love is a word of eventual reciprocation (and I do mean eventual). The Love of God is understandable in my view from this vantage point in its least form, "We love him, because he first loved us"-1 John 4:19 NMV. I felt it was important that I pulled this verse out of my arsenal, in the event you or I believed even for a minute that we've done something great, by embracing The Love of God. We were like the woman at the well, she perceived that our Lord needed something to draw with, granted He did, if He was after natural water. The Lord had another mission in mind tailor-made for her, a woman looking for love in all the wrong places. This woman had been with 5 husbands prior to the man she was now seeing (who was not her husband). Our Lord became man number seven (but the Godman) armed with the love she so desperately needed, a love only accessible with the gift of God's love flowing from God's well on earth. The living word of God, manifested in flesh, with Love so perfect that it cast out all of her fears, thereby igniting her faith. Faith that screamed out come see a man!
I believe this write up exists to inspire us to rise above the feelings. Take note that I didn't say ignore your feelings, actions to avoid the obvious can be catastrophic. It hurts when we are hurt, but we can make sure at the least that the hurt ends with us. We don't have to be the victim or a carbon copy of the perpetrator. If our Lord had allowed judas' actions to effect His purpose here on earth, He wouldn't have become the first fruit of those that slept. Our Lord wouldn't have become our redeemer and Savior. When you celebrate and appreciate the fulfillment of passover, I hope it's from a place of gratitude. Gratitude for The sacrifice of our Lord, who pushed beyond the pain, grief and anguish and did unto others as He would have them do unto Him, what an example left unto us to follow.

Our Babylon
πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡
We find ourselves guilty at times, of fighting furiously to get out of a place, a place God sent us to. The reasons can be numerous, you are probably there because of disobedience, you are probably there because you asked for it, you are probably there because it's God's perfect design. The term Babylon is archaic, it means "Gate of God", it's a sobering reminder that God is Sovereign and in absolute control. Israel's plight was one forged out of disobedience (among other things) to God in relation to His Sabbaths. The punishment was banishment to Babylon for 70 years, enabling God's land to take it's rest.
I believe Israel's encounter with the natives (the Babylonians) was a grevious one. We see people like Daniel and the notable Hebrew boys excelling amidst persecution. I believe this was the plight of all Hebrews, living in a foreign land, in service to their captors. It must have been hard hearing the mocking and jeering while they moved about Babylon, trying to make the most of it. Jeremiah's portrayal is quite notable, it captured the state of the Hebrew people. The aforementioned Prophet showed us, that alongside Daniel and his friends courageous victories stood a rhema word from The Lord. We are often like this people, battered and bruised by Babylons citizens. People not necessarily looking for a way out, a people that see you as the odd one out. You are viewed as an alien, you are of no family or friend relation, like Daniel and the boys you possess something that Babylon needs, so your their for sustainance of Babylon. To you your value isn't obviously apparent, and Babylons natives make sure of it, but it's time you set your sites higher. God has suffered your sojouning in this place and He unlike your contemporaries has a plan of blessing in store for you.
During one of my last preaching assignments I said to the congregants, "As this church goes (Establishment) so do you." I tried my best to communicate in so many words that as long as you are here, you decide if this place is blessed or not. If we are not careful we can allow people to tinker with our perception, we are all influencable and influential. My point is at any given time we are watching somebody's response to Babylon and others are observing ours, we play a role in Babylons perception. There is a famous scripture I've heard quoted often and I believe its understanding is incomplete without the back story. The scripture that I'm referring to is this one, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end"-Jeremiah 29:11 NMV. I love this translation, there isn't much deviation from the KJV, my reason for this is the term used to conclude the verse "Expected End". God has expectations for each and everyone of us, and often times those expectations won't be met in comfortable places. God would uproot us out of our comfort zone, into foreign territory to get somethings out of us, and somethings to us.
God had this to say to His people via His mouthpiece when the naysayers started their squawking, "Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place"-Jeremiah 29:4‭-‬10 KJV. I know the read is lengthy but every word is important, remember the back story I promised, well there it is. You may recall I spoke of the vile natives of Babylon earlier, I want to shine the spotlight on some other residents of Babylon, the ones that came with you. You share the same pedigree as these folk, but Babylon has brought out the worst in them. Have you ever seen people, maybe it's at school, on the job or even in your family that seem to just transform before your eyes? Babylon is obviously getting to them, their inhibitions are slowly walking out the door. The saying is mysery loves company and if your not careful enough to tune them out and hear God, you'll loose all that Babylon existed to give you. In our modern day we call some of them false prophets, their agenda is to say and proclaim things God never said, putting you in a vulnerable place outside of God's will. I love God's tactic in dealing with this, He could of used a Prophet presently in Babylon but He chose someone outside of Babylon, namely Jeremiah. Jeremiah means so much to this story, he was the one God originally prophesied the carrying away through. The captivity obviously wasn't for this man of God, he was left in the city but his heart was with God's people. God used Jeremiah one more time to write a letter containing those scriptures I previously shared, a rhema word designed to refocus His people. There were houses to build, gardens to plant and marriages to be formed, this was their present home and they needed to live like it. I don't know where your present Babylon is, but rest assured that God is for you and He's going to bring bountiful blessings by way of this gate. In the days, months and possible years ahead remember that as Babylon goes, so do you.
πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡
