i’m in the mood to singer a hozier song to my lover on a warm summer’s evening, sitting on the porch and feeling the lovely breeze that carries our garden’s flowers with it, and the evening birds chirping in the distance adding to the etherealness to it all

it is starting to bloom outside!!! smell like earth and worms!! the grass is tall and awake!!! flowers are here and scattered everywhere!!! it’s raining and humid and fresh!!! i know i say this every other day!!! i love!!! spring!!!

people will say they aren’t attractive and then go create art and then go write beautiful poetry and then go bake a cake for a friend and then go spread positivity and then go write a novel and then continue to say they aren’t attractive, as if everything they do doesn’t count or doesn’t matter, as if societal expectations somehow decide their worth and fate.

my dream world is like the smell of earth after it rains, i take deep breath and fill my lungs with the sweetest and most fresh scent. it’s comforting mix of raindrops and everything i ever wanted to touch but couldn’t, like something so deeply beautiful that it’s out of your touch. i let my mind drift into my dream world in times of despair for a little bit of bravery to keep going.
