“You own a nightclub? You must like being insanely busy.” He let out a soft laugh, head shaking slightly. “Jonathan, that’s my brothers name. He goes by Ryker though.” he shrugged. “Nice to meet you too, i’m Derek. I honestly can’t imagine owning a club anywhere near the city. I give you props, man.”

Derek looked up at the other standing in front of him, eyebrow raising just the smallest amount to give him a look of confusion for a moment. “Oh, uh.. It’s just been a long day.” his lips curled into the smallest of smiles, shoulders shrugging. “Didn’t realize it showed on my face, sorry.”

He shrugged once again, tongue flicking out to run along his top lip absentmindedly. “Live with my brothers and every day is horribly long.” a soft chuckle passed through his lips, head shaking a bit. “Nah, work has just been crazy lately. But I guess that’s the price you pay when you’re a bartender for a small club during tourist season.”
