Hello Mystery Kids fandom!

It’s almost the new year and we are hard at work creating episode 2 for you! However, we need some help. Throughout the time we have been working on this project, artists have come and go because of varying life circumstances.

So in order to finish the project, we need more artists on our team who are eager to see this episode finished!

If you are unsure if your art is a good fit, but are still interested, please apply anyway! We have different artistic needs that you might be a good fit for.

So if I remember correctly the original mk team consisted of nekovale, artisticthingem, hproducedto1, zakeno, and kitpocket??? I apologize if I missed anyone. Anyway which one of you guys is the one who still uses this account?? Just curious is all.

It’s just me, zakeno, and I only use it every so often to post updates to the original video, since I no longer work on anything MK-related (but myself and the rest of the team are working on lots of our own stuff! :) )(I will delete this later since it’s not a real update).

Hi I'm new here. I'm like just learning about this so I hope you guys don't get mad at me or anything, but how come the Mystery Kids Project was stopped so suddenly? I never understood that..

We only ever set out to make one episode. It’s a TON of work! And we have other jobs. Haha.

Hi! I really enjoy your work.I saw the episode like 10 times already(no kidding)and i was wondering what of programs did you use to put to put everything together and also who was you favorite character of them all?Thanks for all the the awesome work

Thanks for the kind message!Oh man, okay, this was a few years ago and I put everything together in Windows Movie Maker... If it were now, I would have used Premiere to get everyone’s boards together, and Pro Tools to get the audio levelled since I couldnt with my limited programs at the time. We all used different programs for our boards, mostly Photoshop, I think RJ used After Effects as well.Hope that helps! Glad you liked the episode. :)

Again, we were never involved with ‘episode 2′. This page and this project was a one time thing. This question may better be directed towards @mystery-kids-project who wanted to make an episode 2. Or, feel free to make your own new episode.

Hi! I'm just some fan that wants to be an animator soon ^_^ so what programs do you suggest for it? -munny Jaan

Pencil is a free program that's great for digital animation tests! So is a program called Animation Paper. I use TVPaint, but it isn't free. (ALSO you can always use good ol' copy paper or tracing paper!!)

Hello! Will there be any romance besides the obvious Raz with Lilli and onesided Wybie with Coraline?And what are the current ages of all the mystery kids?

We aren't making any more. There's other fans making another but we aren't a part of it, so check the tag or something?And we aged characters according to how long their shows/movies had been out when we created this! soooo coraline and wybie are oldest, followed by Raz and Lili, then Mabel and Dipper and Norman and Neil are youngest.

I'm planning on producing a radio play based on the idea of a Mystery Kids crossover -- I don't have the drawing skills or time needed for an animatic -- and I was wondering if you would be alright with the play featuring the same lineup of kids? My play concept is set after the group meets, and would neither confirm nor deny the events of your animatic or the currently-in-production sequel.

Sure, go ahead. Mystery Kids ain't our property, it's all fan stuff, so you're welcome to do WHATEVER YOU'D LIKE! go crazy! (but not too crazy) (well, unless you really want to. I mean, it's your life, live it your way)
