THE VARIA HAD more or less been Chrome's first foray into the world of the mafia, save for brief glimpses and shared memories. With all that she had been prepared for, the group that she had faced off against hadn't been what she anticipated. Colorful, strange, and bizarre characters, those members of the elite assassination squadron only became stranger to her as time wore on.

But when it came to STRANGE CHARACTERS, she supposed she wasn't exactly in a position to be judgmental.
