Gina laid down in the shadow of a big oak tree , the leaves perfectly covering the sun that was blazing in the sky . Eve sneaked around the trees trunk , carefully sneaking over to Gina before lightly tapping her shoulder and retreating to their hiding spot .

Gina shot up , eyes darting around to see no one , but the tree and the serene plains in the distance .

Eve giggled under their breath , waiting for Gina to once again lay down and tap her on the shoulder , a cat and mouse game .

Attempting the prank again Eve got caught off guard as a sword was pointed at their throat .

" Woah , woah there , it's only me ! "

She grinned , a bit of sweat trickling down their forehead before Gina removed the sword .

" You give me heart attacks sometimes , ya know that ? . "

She rubbed her temple before putting her sword away .

" I know , I'm sorry . "

They said , eyes glimmering with mischief and regret .

" You're lucky I love you , I would've slit your throat . "

‌She scolded , but her words held no bite . Gina scoffed , how could two so different people share so many interest ? We'll meve know . Gina made her way back to the tree , reclaiming her place in the grass , leaving Eve dumb founded .

" Are you coming ? Don't just stand there . "

She said , voice monotone .

Eve cracked a smile before lightly walking over , sitting down , and placing their head on Gina's lap , arms folded .

" Didn't say you could do that , but okay . "

She said while making eye contact , then resuming to thinking .

" Ya didn't say I couldn't either . "

Eve Grinned , making themselves more comfortable .

" I can just leave it you want me to .. "

They said again , playing a strand of hair .

" Don't ? I don't know , do whatever you like . "

Gina said , eyes now filled with worry .

Eve just smiled again, they both knew Gina cared , but couldn't find the words to say it .

They didn't mind tho . They enjoyed each others company . The afternoon went by like a breeze , all too quickly , but it was filled with laughs , chatter and smiles .

The two really loved each other , Gina fondly looks back at the memory of the two getting married . The wedding was small , yes , but everyone who mattered was there . Gina smiled at the thought , fiddling with the gold ring on her finger .

" Hey , do you remember our wedding ? "

Eve suddenly spoke , the two really read each others minds huh .

" You thought of this becouse of me fiddling with my ring , right ? "

She sighed .

Eve giggled slightly .

" Yeah , heh "

" I sometimes wonder why I married an idiot ."

" HEY ! YOU'RE AN IDIOT TOO ! "

Gina giggled , the two burst into laughter as everything around them began to fade into darkness , and the sky got dotted with stars .
