Twitter: The Comic is a collection of comics based on the greatest tweets of our generation. The source material is used verbatim, typos and all. Despite the seemingly random nature of the tweets, the comic has reoccurring characters and story arcs that aren’t fully understood unless experienced through a single reading. With explicit permission from the writers of each comic, Twitter: The Comic could be a pretty rad book.

Quibids: Scam? (My opinion upon research)
I have decided to go back to school and so am in need of a new computer. I have decided to just save up for a new lap top but thought i'd browse around a bit to see if I could find one at a good deal. I had heard of Quibids from a T.V ad and thought I'd take a look at it.
My opinion of it from reviews I have read and the actual make up of the site is this:
I don't think it's a scam. More like a huge gambling site.
Honestly it's the same as going into a casino except you get to stay home (No fun atmosphere for you kind sir).
The alluring idea of the site is that you can bid on awesome objects and since the bids only increase the item by 1, 2, or 5 cents, you have the chance of walking away with an item for almost 80% off!
Well yea, if you were the only one bidding maybe. The chances that you are actually going to win an auction is about the same as any auction I would suppose (never really liked the idea of an auction) but here is the big thing:
You have to pay in order to bid.
That's right. each bid you place costs .60 cents and while that doesn't seem like a lot to some people, it does add up.
Now seeing as you have to pay for bids, this means that if you don't win the item you bid on you still end up losing money. and i'm sure you guys know that it takes more then 1 bid to win an auction.
Now if you are the 1% that came in at the right time, threw 1 bid down and won a T.V or Speaker set or whatever then that's great for you! but everyone else who threw away $30 on bids... not so much.
here is a good example I found:
"Amazon Kindle recently sold for $112.10 (retail$259) - sounds good for the winner, but to reach $112.10 in 5 cent increments it would take 2242 bids!! So since each bid costs 60 cents, the bidders wasted $1345.20 for a $259 item"
That means that with the money these people spent just bidding for the kindle, they could have each bought 5 brand new ones and still had some money left over.
Quibids in its truest and most natural form is a gambling site. People come in, hand over their money and hope to walk away with something. Most don't.
If you are going to use the site, be careful, monitor your bids, and good luck.
Honestly I would say just to stay away all together.  I think this is a site completely aimed after those people who are easily impressed at the thought of a good deal or those people that can't resist a good gamble.

I live in Osaka, Japan and often use the subway to go to work in the morning. One day, when I was waiting for the train, I noticed a homeless man standing in a corner of the subway station, muttering to himself as people passed by. He was holding out a cup and seemed to be begging for spare...

How gorgeous would this be as a wedding dress!?  If I was ever going to get married (yeah, right!) ONE of us would be wearing a dress like this, I don’t even care whom!
