the way that axe reluctantly stands up to join the mandalore scouting party after koska does because even though he’s still in his feelings about bo and their fight, they’re a package deal and he won’t let them go into uncharted waters alone. but paz, who was sitting right next to din when he stood up and said nothing, only stands up to join after he saw axe do it

me, before: its interesting that axe actually has noticiable scars on his face considering he wears a helmet when fighting

me, after watching him start two consecutive fights in a row without his helmet: ah …. so it’s just for aesthetics then huh

i joke abt axe being cringefail but like…….. he’s not tho, is the thing. and i desperately need people to understand that. cause not only is he a highly skilled soldier, he’s also shown to be a rather competent and respected leader in his own right. like jc. there’s a reason the fleet chose to follow him during bo’s Depression era. he is one of their best! he’s a fucking nite owl for a reason! and i think my biggest gripe w fandom is how ppl will say he’s lost every fight he’s been in and be 100% srs about it. because yes, he lost the fight against bo but it was well matched and he gave as good as he got. in his fight w paz, he was getting thrown around more but he wasn’t in any way, shape or form losing. paz is built like a literal tank, ofc he isn’t going to be easy to take down but axe still managed to trip him up more than once. not to mention, he took several punches head on without his helmet and STILL managed to get back up every time and continue the fight. paz has size and strength but axe had speed and technical training and they remained evenly matched until grogu stepped in. that is a hill i will die on.

trying to figure out anyones age in sw is stupid. because if you go off of actor ages, simon and katee are both 43 so axe should in theory be the same age as bo. but bo, the character, should be nearly 60 by now…….. so should i be trying to work axe’s timeline around that number????
