I know you said imagine, but I read this and immediately went "well it's time for a one-shot." It's not completely accurate for what you whished but i hope you still enjoy it. I also hadn't had much time, so i might write a better one in the future @lovegigi-1 🫶
Word Count: 1 394
“You pushed me!“ a small smile crept on Eetus face, as he watched you angrily stomping towards him. „You pushed me down the floating mountains as if it’s nothing!“ coming to a full stop in-front of him. “Why are you smiling like that, huh? How can this be amusing to you?“ your angry eyes pierced through him “This is not amusing for me. The push was necessary for you to complete the bond with your Ikran. Don’t you trust your teacher?“ You scoffed, this was not about him being your teacher, nor about you not trusting him. It was simply about communication. You had trusted him, after all the Aranahe Clan and Eetu never did anything for you to not trust them, but trust comes with communication and honesty and as a matter of fact he failed to communicate the most important thing to you. “Are you kidding me, how can you make this about me not trusting you, when you failed to communicate something like that?“ you knew that he never meant to harm you, but you very much disliked not having all of the facts.
“It went well did it not? And sometimes you have to just trust.“ Eetus response set you off even more, after all you were the one who had to live your life in TAP unaware of what was going on outside and with your clan, always living in fear. So obviously you wanted to know everything as to not get stabbed in the back, unexpectedly. With fury you said, “You really don’t get it.” Calling your Ikran, the two of you set off, to meet up with Etuwa. Eetu was left wondering why this had upset you so much.
One must have been oblivious not to hear the news of what Etuwa and you had achieved together. Eetu had known from the moment that he made you practice your aim, that you were an amazing fighter. You had proven yourself more than once to him, especially now knowing that the bond with your Ikran had only made you stronger. He had thought long about what it was that had bothered you so much. At the end he had asked Etuwa for advice. His old friend wasn’t really of much assistance as she told him, that all he needed to know was already spoken from you. So, he had thought about your words and came to the realization that all he had needed to do, was fill you in on the steps and letting you know, that he was going to push you or simply tell you to jump.
The two of you hadn’t talked again since the fight happened, so it came as a surprise to him, when you suddenly showed up at Zomeys grave. Almost instant he said, „I’m sorry.“. You assured him that it was okay, however Eetu had spent a long time trying to find the right words to apologize. Therefore, he said, “No, I’m sorry for not telling you everything about the bonding process.“ he was eager to explain that he had figured out why you were angry with him. He wanted to prove, that he deserved your trust. Afterall, he was your teacher and your friend. You however, had also long thought about what had happened and came to the conclusion, that since Eetu was raised differently than you, he may never had to go through the fear of someone that he trusted betraying him. And you were grateful for the fact that he did not know this fear. With that you said “I thought about it as well and I think I also understand your point of view, therefore let us forget about this, okay?“ Eetu had the most confused look you had possibly ever seen on him on his face. As you chuckled you added “I know that it must have been difficult to understand my anger. I understand that you never went through the fear of someone so close betraying you. Therefore, let us please move on.” Eetu was astounded. He never thought about you being Sarentu. However, in this moment he saw you as the diplomatic, keen eyed and wise successor of the deceased Sarentu.
Time had passed, Eetu hadn’t forgotten Zomeys death and neither had you. The two of you met at their old hunting spot ever so often, as to remember her and share the stories that happened between your last time together. Now running towards that old spot, you and Eetu made it a game to catch each other’s tails and see who would get there first. Laughter filled the forest, as Eetu tucked on your tail, slightly pulling you back and becoming first. “That was a foul move!“ you exclaimed “Ah Sarentu a bad loser are we?“ while laughing he sat down, patting the place next to him “You are simply just a foul athlete and I will prove that later!“ you chuckled, settling down next to him. “Ever thought about that you are just bad?“ he joked and you slapped his shoulder lightly. You had missed the bickering with him. Even when you made friends in other clans, you were always wondering what Eetu was doing and awaiting the moment the two of you would run freely in the Kinglorforest again. Eetu missed you just as much. He had felt the bond between you, the moment that you were helping him say goodbye to Zomey.
He had spent countless nights trying to figure out if he should tell you about his feelings. Once again, he had resorted to asking Etuwa about what he should do. At the End of their conversation, it had become clear to him, that he wanted to craft you the greatest, most fitting courting gift he could. However, now that the two of you were sitting together, silently watching the leaves move, listening in on the noises of the forest, he questioned his decision. He questioned if you would accept him or if this day was going to be the end of it all. He had never felt so scared in his life. As he turned to face you, all these previous emotions melted away, as he traced every line of your face with his eyes, shortly stopping at your beautiful lips. Just looking at you lit a fire in his body. Fueled by new confidence, to not let you slip away from him, he asked you to close your eyes. As you did so, Eetu quickly went to pick up his courting gift from the spot that he had hid it. “Can I open my eyes again?” you asked, confused as to what was going on. With a chuckle Eetu said, “You are as impatient as a little kid.” He could practically hear the frown on your face, as he one last time looked at what he was about to give you. Settling back down next to you, he decided that he would simply go for it. “Sevin [pretty] you can open your eyes again.” The nickname made your cheeks turn dark and your heart fluttered with delight. As you opened your eyes you were presented with the most beautiful Ikran headgear that you had ever seen. It was weaved with strings in your favorite color, colors that matched your ikran perfectly. Eetu cleared his throat, “I know this might be surprising. But I whish to court you Y/N. My heart beats faster whenever I see you and when you are not with me, I can’t stop thinking about you. Please allow me to court you Y/N.” as your eyes shot up, to look at Eetu his nerves couldn’t handle it anymore and so he blurted out “Nga yawne lu oer. [I love you.]” As Eetu surprised himself with this he began rambling on and on. Not realizing, that you had put the headgear aside. Gently you grabbed his face. With determined eyes you looked at him, repeating “Kop nga yawne lu oer. [I also love you.] I accept to be courted by you.” With that you placed your lips on his. Slowly moving them. As Eetu grasped the situation he responded immediately, moving his lips in the same rhythm as you, lightly teasing your lips with his tongue. Once you had parted, gasping for air Eetu prayed to Eywa, thanking them for having gotten you.
someone help me out here. i rlly need an eetu (afop) imagine where the reader is mad at him for pushing her off the floating mountains after she bonds with her ikran and after he apologizes and their dynamic is just super playful and their like a friends to lovers.

hello lovelies! A small rant, but someone needs to say something. If you actually like incest, pedophilia, or any of that in writing, or even at all, please please seek professional help. I cannot stress this enough. God it’s so gross and so unnatural. I can’t believe people don’t talk about this enough. I honestly don’t care if you use it to cope, write that shit for yourself and stop putting it on the fucking internet. Get therapy. If that’ll even help.

I love this so much, go and give this some love, please 😭🫶
Because there's SO LITTLE of my bf Teylan,
Could we pretty please have some dating headcanons with Teylan 💜🫶
Of course I can, Teylan is so underrated and one of my favorites. :]

。゚゚・。・゚゚。
゚。 Dating Teylan ✉
゚・。・゚
Teylan x Gender Neutral Reader | Avatar Frontiers of Pandora | Fluff
➛ His favorite place to kiss of yours, is your wrists. Not sure why, he enjoys paying attention to the weakest parts of your body.
➛ When you go on missions, Priya literally has to PULL him away from the communication device. Or else he'd be buzzing in every 5 seconds making sure you're okay.
➛ He is really self conscious, after everything with Mercer he has issues trusting that you truly love him.
➛ Thus coming to his love languages: Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. If he could hold you forever, he would.
➛ Since he doesn't have an Ikran (yet) he often goes out looking for Berries to bring you. Or he'll trade something with one of the cooks so that when you come back you'll have something delicious to eat!
➛ He absolutely worships the ground you walk on, he truly feels like you're his saving grace. He always felt out of place with the Sarentu, but you made him feel as if he was the only Na'vi on Pandora.
➛ You two have matching warpaint, it's a mix of Sarentu & Your Clans colors!
➛ He is always talking about you around the resistance camp, whether it be to Ri'nela when she's teaching him how to craft arrows. Or Raj when he's looking at new gear.
➛ He is respectful of all your boundaries, he himself has some so he is easy to understand how you feel. All he wants is that you're comfortable within the relationship.
➛ Hand kisses!!!
➛ You taking him for rides on your Ikran, he's never flown before so he's nervous. But he's thankful that his first experience on an Ikran was with you.
➛ Always calling you “tanhì” or “ma’tanhì” which means star / my star. Because no matter what he will always follow you home.
➛ You always tease him by stealing his hat, although he thinks it looks way better on you than it does on him.
➛ You help him understand the Na'vi traditions by telling him stories, taking him to new places, introducing him to your clan (if you're not Sarentu.)
➛ If you're Sarentu you'll sing your people's songs to him when the two of you are alone. Before, he was scared he'd lose that part of him. But you're always there to remind him it's not going anywhere.
➛ When he goes for walks around Pandora, he always picks the most beautiful assortment of flowers for you. Your favorite too, he remembered after hearing you talk about it during dinner.
➛ You're his protector, mostly in the beginning when he's new to Pandora. But as he becomes more comfortable you two protect one another and things become balanced.
➛ He's less afraid when he's with you, he doesn't feel the need to be someone he isn't or to succumb to what others want him to be. He's just himself with you.
➛ The courting process was so sweet, he was very intentional when it came to his tactics. If you needed something but wasn't sure how to acquire it, he'd search high and low to be able to gift you what you needed. His favorite gifts to you were handmade bracelets, he learned to weave from one of the Aranahe weavers. They taught him when he went to visit their hometree.
➛ Ri'nela is so supportive of your relationship, she saw how Teylan was alienated from her and the other Sarentu. She's glad he finally has someone who truly cares about him, and isn't just manipulating him like Mercer.

Chapter 4: A message to a loved one
Description: Videologging your day, after you had bow training with So'lek. Word Count: 757 Authors Note: A very short Chapter, because i haven't really had time to write. I hope that you have a wonderful day, Love you all 💕🌹 The other chapters are HERE
“Pandora year 2169, Video log of Y/N L/N. I was bow training with So’lek, a Na’vi warrior today… I had to think about you mom. It’s ridiculous really. If I were on earth now, I know that you would scold me. Mom, I like him. I like him very much. His touch makes me feel warm and his voice makes me quiver, I wish to get to know him mom...
You know how unskilled I am in hitting targets right? It was our second training, the first time was a complete failure, but today I hit the target post!” a smile came to your face.
“After I had hit, he went and gathered some fruits for us to eat. You know he hadn’t once called me by my name, so when he came back, I asked him to change that. It felt very awkward. I had to promise him to answer his question in exchange. I think you would have grimaced at me now, if you were here…” your smile faded, thinking about your mothers laugh and silly antics.
“You know mom I do really miss you. Our bickering and all. Anyway, his question wasn’t even something worth making an exchange for. He wanted to know why I came to Pandora in the first place and why it’s so important for me.” A sigh left your body.
“Mom, I know I never told you and that you won’t see this, but do you remember telling me all the stories of how the earth was in its prime time? I told So’lek about it. Or at least parts of it. If it weren’t for your stories, I don’t think that I would have ever entered Pandoras ambassador program. You know it feels like magic walking in a full blooming forest. It’s something indescribable, something I wish you could experience on earth. Sometimes I think about how different everything had been, if I had simply stayed on earth. I mean, you never wanted that for me, but mom… I…I don’t know how to say this.
I wanted to take you with me. So that the both of us could have seen the beauty of a thriving Planet. I know this isn’t anything that could have happened, you are too old for such adventures, is what you would have told me. But I also know that you would have loved this. Honestly my answer to So‘lek was very simple. I want to protect Pandora, because you would have wanted me to do it. You would have told me to give it my all. To learn from their people.“ you chuckled, a memory coming to your mind „I still remember when you wanted me to learn [language of your choice], because my first boyfriends family spoke it. You always had a knack for learning different cultures and languages. I would do anything to show you how beautiful Pandora is. And how I do my best to live up to your expectations. “
You thought for a while. „Mom there is another thing on my mind. Something where I do not know how you would react. You see, I feel disconnected from my human body these last few weeks. I want to stay in my Avatar one, but I also don’t want to lose our culture you know. It’s been so difficult. In moments like this I really wish that I could actually talk to you and not just imagine it. I know you taught me to listen to my feelings and act on them, but I can’t just leave my human body behind now, can I? Afterall when I got asked back then…when Jake and I were still fighting side by side, my answer was clear.” You put your head in your hands, sighing “Mom why do things have to always be so complicated?” Another sigh left you “Anyway mom, I should probably get back to my work now. Y/N signing out.”
With a moan you stretch on your seat. Ateyras latest environmental samples lying behind you, still waiting for analysis. You were wondering what So’lek was thinking. He hadn’t said anything after you had answered his question and that bugged you. Afterall he could have at least said something more than “I see.”. Maybe he had a Problem with your answer? Maybe you should have not mentioned your mother? Afterall, he had also lost all of his Clan. Another sigh left you as you spun around in your chair, deciding that you should start working and wonder about So’lek later.

Chapter 3: Aim Training
Description: So'lek showing you how to use a bow. Na'vi: skxawng -> idiot Uniltìrantokx -> Dreamwalker Mì Syeha si -> Breathe in nì’eveng -> like a child tawtute -> human Translations are provided inside the chapter, so you do not need to scroll up. Appearances: So'lek Word Count: 1 852 Authors Note: This chapter is free of spoilers, just you and So'lek. Enjoy ❤ The other Chapters are HERE
That you were excited was an understatement. You were ecstatic to say the least. The entire night was spent tossing and turning, while thinking about how close So’lek, and you had been in your first bow lesson, and you were wondering if it would be the same today. After a night with practically no sleep you got up before sunrise and decided to head out. Maybe you would start practicing, as to not embarrass yourself so much again, you thought while slipping into the pod.
To your surprise So’lek was already waiting for you, in front of the HQ doors. A light smile formed on your lips, as you watched his back, while waiting for the doors to slip open. His statue was admirable. One could tell that he was an excellent warrior just by looking at him. Hearing the doors open, he turned to face you. “Good morning” you said to him. Skipping the formalities he sighed and gestured to your equipment. Understanding, you went and picked up the bow and arrows. “Have you practiced some more since our last training session?” He questioned you with a firm look. Embarrassed you shook your head. You knew damn well that you should have done that. However, after the Sarentu had arrived and you were sent out alongside Ateyra, you simply had pushed the thought of learning how to fight away.
It was stupid, you knew that. Afterall you were from the Resistance, and you were travelling around a lot. And considering Pandoras dangers you knew that you needed to learn some kind of skill with a weapon. Yet you had always managed to slip away from danger in just the right time. “Skxawng [idiot]” You could hear So’lek mumble under his breath. “So how do you expect yourself to perform any better than the last time, when you haven’t even practiced, Uniltìrantokx [Dreamwalker]?” You remembered briefly, how you had promised him not to miss your arrows again yesterday. Apologetic you looked at him and said “Well I half expected you to show me the proper posture again and that I then would just hit. I know this is stupid, but please give me this one chance.” There was no doubt that he was annoyed by this, yet he turned and headed towards the practice posts.
You knew that you had to perform now. With an anxious breath you followed him. “Show me” he said. Positioning yourself as good as you remembered, although you really didn’t remember much, considering that the closeness to So’lek had taken all your attention away from the lesson he had given you. He shook his head disapprovingly “Did you even pay attention the last time?”. He moved in closer to you, circling around you, taking in your stance and correcting where correction was needed. You felt his firm hands changing the position that your arm, that was holding the bow to the side of your body, was in. You had to give it your all to not loose yourself in his touch. How could you have fallen for him so easily? You did not even know him properly. A frown appeared on your mouth as you thought of your mother on earth. She probably would have scolded you for being smitten by someone that you didn’t know much of.
So’lek had come to the front of you, noticing your scoff he asked, “Is something the matter?” stumbling over your own words you said “I... ah no, I was just thinking about something.” A disapproving huff escaped him as he answered, “How do you expect to learn, when you can’t even concentrate, Uniltìrantokx [Dreamwalker]?” with an apologetic smile you said, “I will concentrate now, I promise.” As to prove your words you adjusted your arm again, to the form that you had felt him moving it in. “And now I need to breathe in while pulling the arrow back, right?” you questioned. Nodding So’lek moved around you, coming close to your back and placing his hand on your stomach, “Mì Syeha si [Breathe in]”. You did as he said, taking a shaky breath and pulling back the string with your arrow. You deeply prayed to Eywa that he could not feel your heart racing. Taking a step back, circling you one more time So’lek nodded and said, “Go ahead”.
Concentrating on everything that he had just shown you, as to not disappoint him again, you breathe in, focusing on the target ahead and release. The arrow lands a few meters in front of the target post, frustrated you looked at So’lek. “What exactly did I do wrong this time? I did as you said, I think my posture wasn’t even bad, I mean you had adjusted it, and I really don’t know why I missed that!” So’lek scuffs “Uniltìrantokx [Dreamwalker], you change the position of your arm when releasing. It is not enough to aim with your eyes, aim with your body.” You thought you had done so, you thought you had given it your all. “Do it again” So’lek said. You went and picked up the arrow, moving back, positioning your feet and arms, breathing in and releasing. A miss. Again.
You were hopeless. How were you supposed to ever hit this target? Your last few attempts all ended with the arrow landing mere centimeters in front of the target. So’lek sighed next to you “You act nì’eveng [like a child], how do you expect to hit the target if you let your frustration take over you?” You were not just frustrated, you were angry. Yes, you never had any talent in this type of matter, that was why you had become a scientist. Snapping back at him you say, “Well maybe I act like a child, but you know as well as I do, that this is not my expertise. So how about you help me out a bit more, instead of criticizing?” So’lek was a bit taken aback by that. He had seen you snap at Alma and one or two times at Priya as well, but he had never expected you to snap at him. Honestly, he didn’t remember when the last time was, that someone snapped at him. The tawtute [humans] inside HQ were all too scared of him to do so. He already knew that you were different, still he never would have expected this.
“Alright” he said, moving in close to you. “Let’s do one shot together then.” So’leks body pressed in close to your back. He moved his hand to yours, moving your and his body into the proper stance. Your cheeks flushed red, as you again had to prey to Eywa that he would not notice. Concentrate you told yourself, concentrate, concentrate, concentrate. You repeated this in your head, as to not lose focus now, that he wanted to show you again. “Mì Syeha si [Breathe in]” he repeated. The both of you breathed in, in unison, as he moved both your arms back, “Now release” He was too close. You could feel his breath on your ear. You needed to concentrate. But he made it so hard for you. Letting go of the arrow in your hand, praying that So’lek would not notice your increasingly unsteady breathing and racing heart, you heard the arrow land properly, opening your eyes you saw it sticking in the middle of the target post.
Spinning around to So’lek you beamed with excitement, “It hit!”. Shaking his head, So’lek took a step back from you. The smell of you filled his nose and only Eywa knew why this made him feel dizzy. “Obviously it hit, I helped you after all.” He didn’t really mean to weaken your excitement, however you had to yet land one arrow without his assistance. Pouting you said, “Yeah I know, but now that I hit once, I will hit it on my own, watch me.”. You picked up the arrow again, moving back into position, remembering how close he just was, a shiver ran down your spine. Concentrate, you repeated in your mind. With a deep breath you fired the arrow and… it had hit. Not the middle of the post, not like when you had shot it with So’lek. But at least it had hit the outer rounds. With a big grin you turned to him “See, I told you!”.
So’lek had no idea why he felt proud seeing you hit the target on your own for the first time. But he nodded with a small smile forming on his lips “Good job, Uniltìrantokx [Dreamwalker]. Now practice hitting the middle. When hunting an animal, you want to take it out as merciful as possible. And when being hunted you want to end your enemy as quickly as possible.” You nodded, taking the arrow out of the target. “Thank you So’lek, for showing me.” You were proud, that you had proven yourself to him. That you had shown him that you were paying attention as good as you could. “I will keep practicing, as much as it takes until I hit the middle.” So’lek nodded in agreement “Do that, I will go and prepare something to eat.” With that he left the practice ground.
Now that you thought about it, you could have sworn that you saw a small smile on his lips. But than again maybe your mind had played tricks on you, So’lek and smiling were nothing that you could really add into one sentence. Your ears where still tickling from where you had felt his breath reaching them and your body was still heated from his touch. Eywa, you had really fallen hard for this man. Maybe you could spark a conversation when he came back? Finding out more about him could be your knew goal, now that you had managed to avoid disappointing him again. Or maybe making him stop calling you Dreamwalker would be the next step. After all it felt as if he tried to keep you away trough this word. Distancing himself from getting any closer to you. Yes, that would be your goal, asking him to call you by your proper name. Nodding to yourself you started practicing.
So’lek needed to take a moment for himself. He had watched you practice throughout the entire morning, watching your every move, taking in how you grew more and more agitated with how little progress you had made. And when he made the decision to help you out more, he could have sworn that he had heard your heart beating faster than usual. Your smell was still lingering in his nose when he moved around in search of some fruits to bring back. Why was it that he even moved in close to help you out? He still hadn’t found the answer as to why you fascinated him. After all you really acted like a child when you couldn’t figure something out. He decided that he would need to question you about your interest in Pandora when he came back. Maybe that would bring him the answers that he needed.

Eetu x Sarentu!Reader
My first Eetu fic! I made it for my first request ! I hope you'll like it!
Word count : 1.1K
It was well into the night when Y/N and Eetu had finished a hunt together. The bioluminescence and the sounds of Pandora, with the forest, the waterfalls and the creatures, all created a beautiful atmosphere all around.
Laughter rang through the forest, as Y/N ran ahead, looking back every now and then, while Eetu was chasing her, occasionally pulling her tail, loving the squeak and giggle that would tumble out of her, as she tried to escape his teasing hands. He was grinning, feeling so happy, which always seemed to be the case with the Sarentu.
Soon they reached the Hunter’s Lookout, a place that became very dear to them after Y/N helped Eetu on his last journey with Zomey. Long were the days where he would call her Eylanay (acquaintance, potential friend), now they were well beyond that, becoming close friends, so close that the people of Aranahe doubted whether they were already mated. But alas, Eetu had yet to confess the ever growing feeling in his heart, but now he has finally grown the courage.
This special place of theirs was also going to be the place where Eetu will present his first courting gift to her, making it known that he wants to be her mate. The gift consisted of a riding headgear for her and one for her Ikran, I/K. All of which was made by him. It took him a long time to make, as he was always partial to hunting rather than weaving. He made sure to perfect it,leaving nothing undone.
Eetu had asked many of his close friends and family on what would be perfect for Y/N, all he would get in return was their teasing grins and rolling eyes. Etuwa in particular, just smiled knowingly and stated “when you first thought of courting Y/N, you already knew what it would be, didn't you?” and it was true, he knew as he already began weaving it but he wanted the best for her, which inevitably made him seek the help of others.
He was there with her on her first Journey with her Ikran, I/K. He knew what it was like to have a special bond with your Ikran. He could still remember her expressions down to the tiniest of twitch, having carefully studied her whenever they would chat or hunt and sometimes from afar.
After they reached, “You know what I asked of you, yes ?” Eetu questioned, turning Y/N around by pulling her arm gently towards him. “Yes, yes, you told me to close my eyes because you have something to show, I know!” Y/N sassed, a cheeky smile on her face as Eetu rolled his eyes at her. She closed her eyes, feeling his hands on her as he guided her and made her sit down on the grassy land. It was only a couple of minutes, but to Y/N it felt too long. She tried to peek, but Eetu saw it coming and gave a pinch to her waist, laughing as she squeaked, “I’m sorry!”. She tried to wait a few more minutes, but it just wasn’t happening.
“Dear Karyu (teacher) of mine, can I open my eyes now ? It’s been ages!” Y/n whined, squirming in place, with her tail curling around her and made sure her eyes were closed, because if she didn’t, then Eetu would pinch her again. Gently though, she knew he would never hurt her, not him.
Eetu looked at her affectionately while grinning, finding her pouty mouth cute. He had carefully hidden the gift where no one would find it, because it was only for her. “Ma’numeyu (student), you are so impatient, even the ayfrrnen (babies) in our clan are not this restless!” He teasingly jokes, a laugh bubbling out of him when he hears her offended gasp. “How dare you!” Y/N tried to say it in a threatening way, yet ended up giggling at the end.
Eetu held the courting gift in his hand, taking a deep breath, his tail swishing nervously and then asking, “Y/N, sevin (pretty), can you give me your hands?”. She blushes at the endearment thinking, ‘he’s been calling me that for a while now’ and immediately holds them out curiously, then feeling something that is woven placed in her hands. She clasps them gently and waits for the next instruction.
“You can open your eyes, Sevin” Eetu whispers softly, making sure to look at Y/N face closely, not wanting to miss a single thing. She opens her eyes, the first thing she does is look down at the items placed in her hands, she gasps softly, it was a beautiful riding headgear made in her favourite colours and a headgear that would compliment her precious I/K. Y/N slowly looks up at Eetu, who had a hopeful expression on his face.
As she was opening her mouth to say something, Eetu couldn’t handle his nerves and blurted out, “nga sunu oer (I like you)”, he continued, trying to be confident, “Ever since that day we first met I thought you were beautiful and the day we first came here, for Zomey, I started to feel different for you. My heart knew that you were the one, I could not stop my mind, I’m always thinking of you, everytime I hunt, eat or sleep, I cannot stop. I want to court you, to show you that I can be your mate. I want to build a home with you and give you a family. I made these for you as my gift, these represent our first journey together and I hope you like them, I know they are your fav-”
Y/N’s wide eyes were staring at him as he rambled, having had enough of his suffering though, she gently placed the gifts next to, already in love with them and took Eetu’s face and gently placed her lips on his. Eetu immediately responded after feeling her soft lips, pulling her in his lap and holding her close to him as they kissed, she could feel his tongue tease her, she whimpered, giving him the opportunity to slide his tongue. He did not need air if he could have her like this forever.
They parted slowly, their chests rising and falling heavily, panting as they gazed into the other’s eyes. Y/N smiled down at Eetu as she held his face and shyly stated, “I accept”. She then hid her face in his chest, feeling like her cheeks were too heated as she mumbled, “kop nga sunu oer (I like you too)”.
Eetu couldn’t keep the smile off his face even if he wanted to, which he didn’t. He placed a kiss on her head, thanking Eywa that Y/N accepted him. They cuddled the whole night with Eetu, again surprising her with a makeshift tent and warm sheets, along with some berries. They whispered sweet nothings to each other and fell asleep, even without the bond of mating, they could already feel their hearts beat as one.

Aggressive Caregiver ~ Tsu'tey x Reader
Warnings: Jake being an idiot at times, mentions of broken bones, Tsu'tey being a softie, pretty much just fluff and stuff
Synopsis: After an incident where you get hurt, Tsu'tey agrees to take care of you while you recover.
Masterlist
"Jake, I don't think this is a good idea." In retrospect, it was a fucking stupid idea. But I couldn't just flat out say that to my brother in front of Neytiri, who he was trying to impress. I wasn't trying to get in the way of what he was trying to do, but I also didn't want to have to explain to the healers why he would be returning to the clan with multiple broken bones.
Jake had somehow gotten it in his head that he could mount his ikran in midair if he called for it before jumping. He told me about the idea just moments before Neytiri had come over to us to hear what he was talking about. Jake had just pulled us along in order to prove what I knew was going to be a complete disaster without even telling Neytiri a word of the plan. I wasn't even given a chance to attempt to talk him out of it before he was already climbing.
Jake was about halfway up the tree when he finally walked out onto one of its branches. He looked down towards the both of us before he finally said, "Come on. Everything will be fine as long as it works out. Besides, what is the worst that could happen (Y/n)?"
"I would like to remind you that nothing good ever follows that statement whenever you say it. Now please just come back down here before its too late." When that statement left my mouth, Neytiri's ears had perked up slightly. While she may not know what he had planned, she certainly didn't want anything bad to Jake. Especially after all the time and effort it took to train him.
As she was about to say something, a voice sounded close behind us, "What is the skxawng doing this time?" We both turned to find Tsu'tey walking over to us while he had his eyes on Jake, who was about 100 feet in the air. There was an unamused look on his face as he stopped not too far from where me and Neytiri were standing.
Jake looked down and smiled at the new arrival. "Tsu'tey, you are just in time! I was just about to show the ladies here something I thought of. I'm glad that you will get to witness this as well."
"Jake Sully, don't you dare move off of that branch unless you want to get yourself killed!" I immediately yelled at him. I was throughly unimpressed with the fact that not only was Neytiri having to bear witness to this idiotic display, but Tsu'tey also had gotten roped into it as well. I huffed while glaring up at my brother, wondering how I would finally convince him to come down without much of a fight.
Tsu'tey looked over to me before he spoke once again. "You did not come to training so you could convince your brother to not get himself killed? That is your excuse for why you didn't show today? I was pulled away from my duties to teach you our ways and this is how my time is repaid?"
Looking over toward the man, I glared over at him like how I did with Jake. Using a slightly rude tone, I retaliated with, "You make it seem like I enjoy having to be one that makes sure that he stays alive. Do you know exactly how many ideas I had to talk him out of in order for him to survive this far in life? Way too fucking many. And this might actually be one of the worse ideas that has come to Jake's mind." Looking back up towards Jake, I yelled out, "Now get down from there this instance!"
Jake leaned over the branch slightly, smirking down at us. Holding his hands up in surrender, he hollered down, "Alright, you win little sister. I'll come down, but on one condition. You have to come up here and lead me back down yourself. Otherwise, this is still happening. You have 20 seconds to make up your mind. Time starts now."
I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior. Of course he would still have me be involved even though he was backing down. I dug my foot into the dirt while glaring at the ground.
"15 seconds left! What's it going to be (Y/n)?"
Neytiri placed her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her, seeing the concerned expression that was on her face. Neytiri looked directly into my eyes while she quietly said, "Maybe you should just go up and get him. Keep him from hurting himself."
"Ten! Nine! Eig-"
"Alright! I'm coming! Just stop counting." I reluctantly made my way over to the tree before starting to climb upwards. I continued climbing, mumbling under my breath the whole time. Soon, I had made it to the branch that Jake was currently standing in the middle of. I remained close to the trunk as I glared over at Jake. "Alright, I climbed up to get you. Now get your ass on the ground."
Jake smiled while walking a little further down the branch. Shrugging his shoulders, Jake looked downwards while saying, "I said you had to lead me down. Means you have to come out here and get me."
I remained in my position, refusing to move an inch. I could tell that the branch was slightly unstable, moving gently with each move that Jake made. I looked Jake in the eyes as I said, "I am not getting on this branch. Now come down before one of us get hurt."
Jake smiled towards the sky as he continued to speak, "You know, maybe if I called my ikran now, then-"
Before he could finish the sentence, I was already at his side. He had managed to walk out over halfway towards the end of branch. I carefully pushed Jake in front of me in order to lead him so we could return to the ground.
Jake laughed as I continued to push him. He looked over his shoulder with a smile, "See? Nothing bad happe-"
As soon as those words left his mouth, the branch gave way. We fell towards the ground, leaves and vines occasionally slowing the fall. When we finally hit the ground, I landed first directly on my back with my arms spread out from the impact. Jake came down soon after, landing directly beside me. Which also means he landed on my arm, causing me to scream out at the same time that I heard a sickening crack follow soon after his drop.
Neytiri and Tsu'tey were quick to come over to us once we hit the ground. I could only cry as they helped pick Jake off of me, the pain in my arm almost becoming unbearable. I knew it was definitely broken, but I had no idea how bad it was. All that I could seem to do was curl up onto my side while trying to keep my arm as still as possible.
Jake was by my side soon after he had regained awareness of his surroundings. His hands came up to my face, wiping away as many tears as he could while I cried. Neytiri was behind me, rubbing my back while trying to calm me down. Her efforts soon became fruitless as she rubbed over a certain area which then caused me to let out a small scream from the sensation. Clearly, I hurt a portion of my back as well without my knowledge.
Neytiri quickly removed her hand while looking over at the two men that were gathered around my sobbing figure. With a gentle voice, she said, "We must take her back to my mother. She will know how to properly help (Y/n)."
"Alright. Come on sis, I got you." As Jake had reached out for me, I started smacking him with my one good arm.
I glared at him through my tears as I yelled, "Don't touch me, you ass! I should have just let you break your neck trying to do your stupid trick!"
Jake just pulled away, trying not to get hit anymore while I was laying on the ground. Neytiri stepped over to Jake before looking over at Tsu'tey. "Tsu'tey, you take (Y/n) back while I help Jake."
"Neytiri, I don't need any help."
"Ma'Jake, your ankle is swelling. You won't be able to walk by yourself." After Neytiri had said that, I looked towards Jake's feet to realize that his right ankle was slightly bigger with a somewhat dark shade of purple covering it. I slightly grimaced at the sight, but knew it was probably only just a slight sprain that he had.
Before much else could be said, Tsu'tey had picked me up as gently as he could. He moved my good arm around his neck so he could pick me up. He used one arm to hold me up beneath my legs while he used the other to wrap around the middle of my back. As I wrapped my legs around him, I moved my head to rest against his shoulder as I tried to take some deep breaths in order to calm myself down. After he made sure that my broken arm settled in between our torsos, Tsu'tey started to head back in the direction of the village.
Everything was quite for a few minutes before Tsu'tey finally spoke up. "You should not have walked onto the branch."
Even though I wasn't looking at his face, I could practically feel the look of disapproval from his tone alone. My ears dropped slightly as I let out a small, "I know."
I could feel the huff that left him as I spoke. I knew he was upset from the fact that both Jake and I got hurt. Him and Jake had become friends soon after the war had ended. Though, we had a bit of a weird relationship. We were friends, but it almost felt like a bit more than a standard friendship. We always seemed to spend a bit more time with each other, normally by hunting together or going on a flight with our ikrans. Sometimes he would even joke around with me when it was just the two of us. Though sometimes I did wish it would be something more than just friends, I was ok with the relationship that I had with Tsu'tey. As long as he was apart of my life, I would be happy either way.
I let out a shaky breath as I mumbled, "It really hurts, Tsu'tey."
He carefully rubbed my side as he quietly said, "I know. We are almost to the village. Mo'at will look over you and then you will be fine. Just a few more minutes."
It was silent for a bit before I decided to speak up. "Tsu'tey, could you put me down? I think I can walk the rest of the way."
"Absolutely not." He immediately shot down my request. In fact, he tightened his hold on me slightly in order to emphasize his point.
I let out a small whine before saying, "Tsu'tey, people will see. The clan already talks enough, I don't want to give anyone another reason to start assuming anything."
I could feel the scoff that leaves him as soon as the statement left my mouth. "It does not matter what they say. You need me right now, so I will be here." I could tell from his tone that I had absolutely no room to argue with him.
Once we entered the village, I avoided the gaze of anyone that we passed. I could hear people whispering to one another as Tsu'tey continued to make his way towards the healing huts. It didn't take long for us to finally get there as Tsu'tey had pushed past almost anyone in the way of our destination.
Once Tsu'tey had walked through the door, Mo'at had turned towards us. She stood while motioning for me to be sat on of the beds that was in the center. Carefully, Tsu'tey had placed me down while helping me sit up as Mo'at started to grab supplies from one of the shelves.
"What happened to her?" While her tone was slightly harsh, when I looked at her, Mo'at's gaze was soft as she started to inspect over my body carefully.
Tsu'tey spoke softly as he started to explain everything that had happened. He pointed out the part of my back that had cause me so much discomfort earlier. Mo'at gently ran her fingers over the spot causing me to flinch away with a soft whine. Mo'at made a noise of disapproval as she started to apply some ointment to the area. With some help from Tsu'tey, she wrapped some bandages around my torso before she moved to inspect my arm. I whined as she moved my arm to get a better understanding of the extent of my injury. I took a few deep breaths as Mo'at started to apply more ointment on my arm before she put more wrapping on my arm. Once she was done, she brought a small bowl with a strange liquid in it towards me. I was about to take it with my uninjured hand when Tsu'tey grabbed the bowl from Mo'at. He brought it towards my lips and helped me drink from it. I grimaced at the taste before coughing slightly from the sting of the medicine going down my throat.
After my coughing fit was done, Jake and Neytiri had made their way into the tent. Jake looked down at me, taking notice of the bandages covering part of my body. Neytiri helped sit him down before getting more supplies in order to help Jake.
He looked over to Mo'at as he asked, "How bad is it? Is she going to be alright?"
Mo'at had finished looking me over for any more injuries that I may have gotten. Once she was done, she moved over to Jake to start checking on him. "She will not be able to move her arm without pain for a while. She will also need to rest in order for her back to properly heal. Meaning that you will need to stay with someone while you are healing (Y/n)."
"She can stay with us. It's the least that I can do after all." I glared at Jake as soon as he opened his mouth. He shrunk back slightly from the intensity of my gaze, an apologetic look crossing his face.
Neytiri went over to Jake's side as she started to treat some of the scratches that littered his body. As she applied the paste she had onto his body, she softly said, "Ma'Jake, you won't be able to walk on your own for a few days. I will have my hands full with you as is."
"Besides, if I stay with you right now, I will kill you while you sleep." I continued to glare at him while I spoke. Jake let out a shaky laugh which turned into a whine when Mo'at grabbed at his ankle.
Tsu'tey spoke up from beside me as he watched the interaction. "I will look after her while she recovers." He placed his hand on my shoulder in an act of comfort. My face started to heat up, though I chose to believe it was the medicine finally taking effect. He looked over at me as he continued, "Only if you are comfortable with it. You do not have to if you wish to stay with someone else."
I looked back towards Tsu'tey, who was staring at me with a soft expression on his face. I gave him a soft smile before I made up my mind. "I would really appreciate it, Tsu'tey. Thank you."
He smiled at my words as he moved so his back was facing me. My blush started to deepen as I began to realize that he wanted me to climb on so he could carry me. I hesitated at first, but finally accepted after acknowledged that he wouldn't let me leave the healing tent any other way.
Once Tsu'tey had his arms secured underneath my legs, he stood up and started to leave. I placed my head on his shoulder as I let out a small sigh. I could feel the people staring once we walked out of the tent. They all must be curious as to why the clan's best warrior was carrying me in a way that would appear so intimate for him. Tsu'tey seemed unfazed by the stares as he continued the walk to his hut.
When we finally go to the tree where Tsu'tey's hut was in, I heard him quietly say, "Hold on tight." Once I secured my hold on him, Tsu'tey immediately began climbing up the tree. He moved so quickly up the tree, it seemed as if I didn't weigh anything to him. It didn't take long for us to get to his hut. When we entered, he started heading straight to his hammock. Tsu'tey helped me get into it with minimal incident.
I tried sitting up so I wasn't laying down just yet, but he pushed me down gently by my shoulders. I tried pushing against his efforts, but he stayed firm on his decision for me to rest to what he deemed the best way. To show how serious he was, Tsu'tey gave a small hiss before I finally gave up on fighting him. Once he was certain I wasn't going to get back up, Tsu'tey moved his hand away slowly. He started walking to what seemed to resemble a kitchen. At least that's what it seemed like from where I laying down. He was moving around swiftly, grabbing things as he went. I watched him for a little bit before I turned my attention to things that were closer to me.
It was the first time that I had been over to his home, but it didn't quite seem like it was completely him. There were more plants around than I would expect him to be interested in having. Small groups of flowers had wrapped themselves around some of the branches that were overhead. I smiled at the homely feeling that was emitting from the little details that were littered all over. I turned to my side to look around a little better when I took notice of something that was close by. I strained my eyes to see what exactly was on the ground. Once I figured out what it was Tsu'tey had finally made his way back to me. He used one hand to roll me onto my back once again, then shoved a bowl of fruit into my hand with the other. He started mumbling something about me 'not listening' while he was gone. I just smiled looking up at him.
"Hey Tsu'tey, did you make a necklace over there? It looks really nice." His face paled as he went over to where the piece of jewelry was placed. Tsu'tey picked it up before hastily putting it away where I wouldn't be able to see it. I let out a small laugh from the change in his behavior. "Come on Tsu'tey. I wanna see what it looks like."
He turned back towards me with a slightly conflicted look on his face. "You should not have seen it. It is not how things are supposed to work when it comes to the matter."
"What do you mean? It's just a..." It took a minute for me to fully understand what he meant by that statement. A look of understanding crossed my face when I barely whispered, "It's a courting gift." He looked at the ground, his ears pinned against his head in what seemed like shame. I sent him a gentle smile before saying "Tsu'tey, I'm sorry. I didn't know that you were interested in anyone like that. Why didn't you say anything?"
Tsu'tey looked back at me as he slowly made his way back to the hammock. He refused to make eye contact as he tired to find the right words to explain. "It is complicated, (Y/n). It does not feel right talking of this with anyone when it comes to the matter."
I could tell that he felt awkward about the current topic. I brought the bowl he had given me towards him as a form of comfort. He hesitantly took a piece, fiddling with it instead of eating it. I looked back up at the flowers that decorated the branches above us. Sighing mostly to myself, I decided I was going to try and lighten the mood.
"Can I give you some advice about this whole thing?" He gave a small huff, but didn't stop me from continuing what I was about to tell him. "I think I have an idea who it could possibly be that you might be courting. And I have to say just this." I looked back towards him to notice that Tsu'tey's body was completely tense. I tried hold back my smile as I continued, "I know Jake is a great guy, but you could do so much better than my brother. I mean, Jake is an idiot and he alw-"
Tsu'tey tossed the fruit he had in his hand at my face. He let out a short hiss, but he had a playful smile on his face. I gasped before grabbing a piece of fruit and tossed it at him in retaliation. Tsu'tey was able to dodge it, but he pretended to be as if he had actually be struck. I began laughing at the face he made, causing him to join in soon after.
The next few minutes were just of us laughing at practically nothing. When we finally calmed down, I looked back at him with a serious expression. "In all honesty though, any woman that you choose to have as your mate will be lucky to have you. You deserve to be happy Tsu'tey. Everyone will stand by you with whatever decision that you make."
He smiled at my words of encouragement, clearly feeling slightly better after hearing them. He looked around his home as he began to talk again. "I am grateful that you feel that way. I have been trying to make this place feel more welcoming for her. Though, the plan I had for the courting process doesn't seem to be going the way I had hoped."
Confusion crossed my face as I decided to inquire, "Really? What went wrong? Is she making you work to get her attention?"
"Actually, she fell out of a tree and ruined the plan of having her to meet me later tonight."
I was left speechless from his sudden confession. Sure, I knew Tsu'tey saw me as a good friend, but I didn't think that he thought of me the same way I did him. Though, I must have been silent for to long, because he started to stand with his ears pinned back.
"I'm sorry, (Y/n). I thought you felt the same way. I will leave you be for now."
Before he was able to walk away, I grabbed ahold of his wrist. He looked down in shock, not expecting me to touch him. I gave him a loving smile as I whispered, "I wanna see it." He looked confused, clearly not understanding what I meant. I moved my hand down to hold his as I spoke again. "I wanna see my necklace if I'm going to say yes to your proposal."
His ears perked up as soon as I finished talking. I slowly let go of his hand when he moved to retrieve the necklace from its recent hiding spot. Tsu'tey had the biggest grin on his face as he walked back towards me. He held it out for me to see the details, clearly proud of his work. I was awestruck by the detail of it. He had used blue and green beads decorated almost the entirety of the necklace. In the center was the dulled down tip of an arrow. I smiled when I realized that it was from one of the arrows that Tsu'tey had replaced not to long ago.
I sat up slightly as I ran my fingers across it softly. I looked back up at Tsu'tey before asking, "Can you help me put it on?"
Tsu'tey leaned over to secure the necklace on me. Once he made sure it wouldn't fall off, he placed my chin between his fingers to tilt my head. He let out a hum of approval as he admired how it hugged my neck. He had a prideful smile on his face as he barely whispered, "Look at you. So beautiful."
A blush started to form across my face as I looked away in embarrassment. Tsu'tey caressed my cheek before he leaned down to place a kiss on my cheek. I giggled as he continued to leave kisses all over my face. He continued for a few moments before leaning in and placed a kiss softly on my lips. I leaned in to deepen the kiss slightly.
I reluctantly pulled away, taking a deep breath. I rested my forehead against his, closing my eyes at the domestic moment we were having. We lasted like that for a few minutes, just basking in each other's presence. I sighed before letting out a mumbled, "Can we cuddle, please?"
Tsu'tey chuckled at my request, but helped me move around so he could lay down with me. When he finally got situated, I snuggled into his side. He was careful as he pulled me to be laying down on top of him, his tail wrapping itself around my thigh in the process. I nuzzled into his neck as I began to let out quiet purrs. Tsu'tey began to draw small patterns on the uninjured part of my back as he continued to chuckle to himself.
We stayed like that for a while until he finally broke the silence. "There is one thing that I have been wondering." I gave a soft hum as I waited for him to continue. "Why was your brother in that tree to begin with?"
I held back a giggle as I said, "It's kind of a long story. I don't know if you even want to hear it."
I felt his laugh vibrate throughout his chest at my answer. "(Y/n), you aren't going to be able to move around that much for the next few days. I'm willing to listen to anything you have to tell me. So tell me what Jake was trying to accomplish from halfway up that tree."

Chapter 2: Planning Ahead
Na'vi: Kaxltì -> Hello Appearances: So'lek, Ateyra (OC) Word Count: 1 812 Authors Note: There again is no need to have played the game. Since this is a So'lek fanfiction there will be minor Spoilers. I hope you enjoy reading and have a beautiful day ❤ The other Chapters are HERE
As you woke up, you already knew that this day would be hard. After everything that had happened yesterday you had a lot to get done.
First off all you wanted to ask So’lek for another Bow lesson. You knew you needed to learn this, so that everybody in HQ could stop worrying so much about you. And furthermore, you agreed with Alex. He might not normally be good at this type of thing, but for you to wait around until So’lek talked to you was ridiculous. After all it was So’lek. He never really talked to anyone if it wasn’t totally necessary.
Second you needed to check on Ateyra, see how she was doing, now that the Aranahe had taken her in. You also hadn’t forgotten that you needed a plan on how to stay close to her and redeem yourself in the eyes of the Aranahe. This would also be the thing you decided to do first. Since So’lek wasn’t particularly fond of you, even though you did your best to change that, and you did not want to ruin his day first thing in the morning, neither did you want to ruin your own day if he decided to reject you.
Slipping into the pod, readying yourself for the connection, excitement arose in you. Closing your eyes in your human body and opening them to see Pandoras forest and beautiful nature in front of you would be something that you would forever worship. There was nothing better than the sensation of the soft noises, the different smells and the intensity of how your Avatar body took all of it in. Eywa, you loved this feeling. More now than yesterday you whished to stay in this body forever. In the back of your mind the dread of going back to your small and fragile body, where you could not feel, hear or smell all those sensations was building up again.
Pushing those thoughts aside you stepped out of Wooded Glen Field Lab and started heading to the home tree. Priya had already informed Ateyra that you would come meet her there. As you came closer you already saw Ateyra waiting for you. Quickening your steps as to not waste anymore of her time you already shouted “Kaxltì” in her direction. Ateyra had taken a few environment samples for you to take back to HQ that she gave you the moment you stood in front of her.
“Here, I couldn’t take more. I also tried talking to them to let you in again, but it’s no use. I’m really sorry.” A soft smile formed on your lips “Don’t be. It’s their right to keep me out, after all that happened. I will find a way to prove myself to them again. Or at least I hope to do that. Anyway, did they teach you anything useful?” You knew Ateyra wasn’t the one to blame. Of course you were sad, that for one you couldn’t be with the Aranahe anymore and that there was no way for you to be a representative for the Resistance at the moment, but for now there was nothing you could do about it. It was best for you to fixate on the things that were within your reach and that was bow training with So’lek. Or at least you hoped so.
“Well, we didn’t do much yesterday. I met some of the people and we shared a meal. But today is going to be very exciting. Nevika plans on showing me how to dress Na’vi and Etuwa also wanted to talk about something. I will keep you all updated.” With a smile and a nod, you said “Good, let me know if you need anything. Also, it be great if you will take me along if an opportunity arises.” You knew this was a selfish request, but Eywa you just wanted to be a part of this. You already missed the smells inside of home tree and while you knew that you would be in the way, considering your non existential skills with any weapon, you wanted to go along. At times like this you really wished, that during the first fight against the RDA, someone would have shown you how to properly wield a weapon. But then again you didn’t because now you could make So’lek your trainer. “I’ll do my best” Ateyra answered. With a last nod, the two of you parted ways.
Since you planned on bow training you started heading towards HQ. Taking your sweet time to take everything in. After all, you were more than happy to be back in this body. You grabbed yourself a fruit to eat on the way. The taste of Pandoras foods was another sensation indescribable. It made you miss the good foods from earth even more. You would practically kill to eat something properly in your human body again.
Once you had reached HQ it was time to search for So’lek. As he wasn’t in his usual spot you had to check practically everywhere, until you found him standing outside. He seemed to want to head off somewhere. Stopping him in his tracks your heart began to flutter. Eywa, that man had no business looking so good.
“What do you want?” his usual annoyed self made you feel at ease, as it wasn’t anything against you or anyone in particular. So’lek wanted his peace and quiet and did everything to protect that. He was a loner, and it was only on rare occasions, such as your bow training or when the Sarentu arrived, that he allowed someone invading his personal space. This thought arose something in you. You hadn’t yet thought about why the lone soldier had even suggested bow training you. You wanted to think about it more, but you still owed So’lek an answer. “I wanted to know if you would again show me the ropes on how to use a bow.” You began speaking. Already you could see him frowning at your request so you quickly added “I promise I will do better this time. No missing the target anymore!” still frowning he said “But only one more chance. However, it has to be tomorrow, today I have to go on a mission. Meet me tomorrow morning in front of the HQ. Be early, you have a lot to get better at.” With that he turned and left you standing there. Frozen in your spot.
You had expected him to say no, or to make it more difficult for you. He seemed to do that to everyone else. Maybe you had gotten away with it because he had a good day? He also didn’t seem to be too appalled seeing you today. When he was with Alma, you could see it in his eyes how he tried to keep his hatred in check. Today that seemed different. Or maybe it was your imagination whishing for him to like you. To at least become friends, so you could be near him.
You headed inside, giving the people in the Lab the samples that Ateyra had taken. Now that Bow training was planned for tomorrow you asked around and helped where help was needed, in order to pass the time quicker. The thought alone of being with So’lek tomorrow made you cheerful.

So’lek wasn’t sure what exactly had ridden him to say yes to your request. It also didn’t seem to make sense to him as to why he wanted to help you train with a bow in the first place. You were a Dream walker, a human but sometimes you seemed more Na’vi. Maybe that was the point that intrigued him. How you managed to hide your roots like that.
He remembered well the day that he asked you to first train with him. He had always kept a close look on every one of the Resistance incase that any human, Dream walker or Na’vi decided to do something that he did not approve of. Therefore, he was one of the first to notice your change. It did not surprise him, after all you had spent a lot of time with the Aranahe, learning their ways and exchanging culture. However, to his surprise he felt sorry for you and wanted to help you get your mind off this topic. He did not know why, the two of you never really had a close relationship. All you ever did was exchange formalities when it came to missions. And now he allowed you to train with him again. It confused him. There was no reason for him to allow you to be close.
What made even less sense was the fact that you were talentless when it came to the bow, why would you want to continue learning? No matter how often he had corrected your posture and no matter how often he had told you to hold your breath in before firing your arrow you never seemed to really execute it. And Eywa the number of arrows you had missed were impressive. Just thinking about it made him annoyed.
And yet it also seemed to intrigue him. The thought of getting to know you better, to unravel what made you so Na’vi in his eyes, why you were so eager to get to know Pandora in all it’s ways. Yes, you were quite the opposite of the other dream walkers he had gotten to know. Most of them refused to let go of their ways. They made themselves look Na’vi, but their actions were disgusting and wrong. They were demons in the wrong body. But you? Somehow you were not.
He also remembered how angry you were at Alma the day she had confessed that the Sarentu children were sleeping in cryopods. It had made him happy, to see that someone felt the same way about it as he was. And when you tagged along on the mission? You might not had noticed it, but he kept fixating on you. You were no fighter, but the way you spoke to the children and lectured Alma, it had made him grateful. He saw himself in the Sarentu children, or at least a part of him. They had also lost their clan and lost precious years being in the TAP. He now wanted them to experience Pandora to the fullest and you agreed with him. While Alma needed them to fight for the Resistance, you told them that they should do as they pleased. Of course, Alma did not only want that for them. But there seemed to be something twisted about her, that So’lek had yet to uncover. He liked the fact that you appeared to think the same way about this. All of this had made him curious about you. Maybe that was why he agreed to give you one more lesson.

Chapter 1 : The Struggle within
Na'vi: tsmuke -> Sister Olo'eyktan -> Clan leader Omatikaya -> Na'vi Clan Aranahe -> Na'vi Clan Sarentu -> nearly wiped out Na'vi Clan Appearances: You, Priya, Teylan, Ri'nela, Alex, Ateyra (OC) Word Count: 1 526 Authors Note: This is an introductory chapter. Basically, get to know yourself in this chapter. The turmoil’s inside of you. You don't have to have played the game in order to read this. However, minor Spoilers are coming in this Story, so make sure that you are fine with that. Have a beautiful day and you got this ❤ The other Chapter are HERE
You weren’t one of them. Heck, you were not even sure if you were one of your own kind at the moment. As you slipped out of the pod, again needing to accustom yourself with your human body, your mind raced. It raced a lot the past couple of weeks. Since the Sarentu were found everything had taken a turn, to the good of course, but where did that leave you?
The duties that Jake left you, before his disappearance, where clear. Represent the Resistance before the clans. Show the clans that they need to fight again, to defend Pandora of the wrong doings of your own kind. But then again what kind did you belong to really? The whole Avatar dilemma was really getting to you these past couple of weeks. You loved your Na’vi body and loathed your human one. Yet you had to care for both. And then there was the cultural conflict. You loved Na’vi culture, their connection to Eywa, the feelings Pandoras wonders gave you, but you also loved the music that came from your home planet, the dances, the feelings that arose inside you when reading old books, from lost times where the earth was still thriving.
With a big sigh you decided to let these thoughts go for the moment. Your body was aching for something to eat. You might not have really liked the RDA rations, but right now you really did not have a choice. Walking out of the laboratory a way to cheery Priya greeted you. “Good work out there, man I wish I could travel around like you, but then again, I do really like the safety of the HQ. Anyway, you are probably heading to eat right? Mind if I join, I mean we hadn’t had a meal together in like forever.” a light smile and headshake had to be enough of an answer right now, as your body just wanted to rest. The mental strain of having to switch bodies every now and then was something you probably would never get used to. Slowly heading to what should resemble a kitchen you noticed one of the Sarentu, Teylan, also having a meal there.
He was different from the other Sarentu that you had rescued alongside Alma and So’lek. It appeared to you, as if he had a similar struggle to adjust, just like you. While all the other Sarentu where eager to find out more about Pandora he stayed behind, helping Alex develop new tech. And while you usually did not mind him, right now you were in no mood to have any kind of social contact. Moving much quicker than before you went and grabbed a ration, only acknowledging Teylans presence with a quick nod. As you turned and wandered of to your own little nook of HQ you were mercilessly interrupted by another Sarentu.
Ri’nela to be exact. “Y/N I hope you know that your position is unchanged. I can see that it must be hard on you seeing my tsmuke be allowed inside Aranahe Home tree, while you must stay out, but please keep on assisting her.” You knew that she meant well by saying that. Yet all that you could think about was watching Asahe, the wife of the current Olo'eyktan, die during the RDA ambush. It was your fault, as you called them to fight alongside you. It was only right of them to despise you. You had no business to deal with them anymore, therefore you really didn’t understand how Alma and the Sarentu concluded to send you to the Aranahe alongside Ateyra.
Ateyra was doing really good work out there and you simply seemed to be in her way. Yes, you were capable of showing her one or two plants to be careful of, but in reality, she was doing much better than you. And now that she was learning from the Aranahe how to be a proper Na’vi, there seemed to be even less reason for you to stay near her.
“Ri’nela, I appreciate your concern, but right now I really want to rest. So would you excuse me…” moving around her, making your way over to finally rest in your bean bag. Another sigh left your body, as you started indulging in the less than tasty RDA ration.
In all honestly you felt like a failure. All the years of training on earth to learn how to build a new world on Pandora and how to build proper connections with the locals, only for you to come and find everything already ruined by some power-hungry people at the top. Having to fight alongside Jack to have all those Jackasses leave, just for them to return and start ruining Pandora again.
And in the middle of that chaos your own personal Problems. The way you identified with your Na’vi body more than with your human one. And then the part where you were expelled from ever meeting any Aranahe ever again. It all seemed to be too much, but you never were one to give up. Heck, if you had wanted to give up you would have left Pandora the moment you saw the Omatikaya Clans Home tree be burned down. Now you needed to focus.
Alma and the Sarentu clearly wanted you to redeem yourself, although you weren’t sure how to do that yet. Your best bet was to stay as close to Ateyra as possible, without getting to much in her way. It would also give you a great learning opportunity. As your mind was racing, Alex who was somewhat of a best friend for you, sat down in the bean bag opposite to yours.
“So how was it? Did they talk to you?” you scuffed “Do you really think the Aranahe would even so much as look at me? It was as if I was invisible and honestly, I cannot blame them.” Alex eyes screamed with pity for you “It will get better. I know that you will find a way to be capable of learning their ways again.” Today was not your day. Not even Alex seemed to understand the turmoil that this gave you. YOU were responsible for one of their most important people’s deaths, YOU led them to suffering, clearly everybody here must have lost their heads to not be capable of seeing that.
“Alex this is a joke, I am nothing more than a bad omen for the Aranahe. I resemble everything that they hate. I do not even know If I will be of any assistance to Ateyra.” Alex shook his head saying “You will do fine. You always do. It’s not like this is your first rodeo, just remember to leave the personal stuff out of it. I don’t know, maybe just try and be a bystander for now.” A bystander… that was less than intriguing. You whished to help them out again, to learn their ways, to help the Community in whatever way necessary. Yet you knew you couldn’t. You knew that that Chapter Ended the day that Asahe took her last breath and went back to join Eywa. That fateful day not only ruined your relationship to the Aranahe, but also left you in shambles of not knowing how to continue, now that you had lost a second home.
“Anyway Y/N how are things going on our other front?” Alex tried to take your mind off the, for you, obviously draining topic. You knew exactly what or rather whom he meant by that. So’lek. The lone Na’vi warrior had stolen your heart, even though you were nothing more than scum to him. Scum that killed his clan. Scum that brought destruction to Pandora. “Well, nothing really. We haven’t talked, nor does he look in my direction since our last training session. Clearly everything is going amazing for me right now.”
You remembered how So’lek tried to show you how to wield a bow. His firm hands correcting your positions, tracing down your arm to adjust the way your hand fixated the arrow on the string. Really everything seemed perfect, if it weren’t for the fact that you were a Dream walker, and he disliked your kind. And maybe also the fact that you were the worst in wielding a bow. You couldn’t remember how often you had missed the target, as it was simply too many times to count. But you could hardly blame yourself for it, how were you supposed to concentrate with him standing so close to you. At the end of your session, you could see how annoyed he was, so it was understandable that he had kept his distance from you.
With a laugh and headshake Alex told you “Well you can’t always wait for them to talk to you now, can you? Maybe try asking him for another lesson, instead of waiting around. See ya!” and just like that he stood up and left, leaving you with even more to think about. With another sigh you decided to call it a day and simply read to try and take your mind off everything that troubled you.
