I find it hilarious how their reactions to the Mimic are so different from their book selves — they've basically switched moods.

Well, I don't know, maybe the gameverse M1 is indeed 10x scarier than Tales! Mimic, but I like to imagine that TFTP David wouldn't even be afraid of SOTM M1.

I revisited the book, and when I got to the scene with Charlie's house, I was surprised by how many hints about future books there were.

To be honest, I don't remember anything like that, and the way Ella looked at Charlie when she came back looking for the keys was really creepy.
