My self improvement app sends me motivational messages from time to time. Usually pretty generic simple things.

The cynical part of my brain likes to tell me to turn this off; the number of people rooting for me throughout the day has not increased. The things just an algorithm. This is silly.

But the part of my brain I’m trying to cultivate reminds me that I choose to leave this on therefor there is one more person rooting for me; me.
