Updates: Life, Booklr, ETC.

I feel like I am honestly failing at my booklr, not going to lie.  Things have been 100% crazy for me.

 I found out back in April that I was Pregnant and that has made some things quite hard for me. 

I started going to college in September, and have been slowly trying to figure out a schedule that works for me.

I was working full time, and going to school. I stopped working about two weeks ago, as we are getting closer to the time that my little one will be born.

I am due Dec 23 2017.  So, for now booklr, and booktube, and anything else post wise will possibly be delayed for a little while; until things are under control. 

I would love to keep up with this and get the ball rolling even more for my booktube. There are some things I have to do in order to do that, but I will get there eventually. For now tho some things I am going to do or try and do on both are:

Monthly Reads

Monthly Haul (hard copy, eBook & audio-book)

Unboxing (videos, or photos)

I would love to post for everyone to see

Organizing My Bookshelf: This is going to be quite hard for me to do, but I would love to be able to do it. I have so many books, I have about 3 totes full of books that are not currently on my shelf, I have a stack of TBR books beside my bed, and another stack on my night stand, I also have a box of books I bought sitting in my closet.  Only having one bookshelf with over a hundred books is a mess.

Organizing My Sons Bookshelf: This will possibly be something I do, while I am setting up his bedroom. I had a lot of children books as a child, and some of those are being passed down to him. That is not including the books that I got for him at my baby shower.   

As of now some of these things may come in the future, some may come within a few days, it just all depends on how I feel.  I have had an up and down type of pregnancy. I have been sick some days where I don’t want to move and then other days full of life and energy.

So as you can see some fun things to look forward to from me.  Hopefully I can stick to it!

Things I am Changing;

I will still do a currently reading, every month or so.

I will still do a book haul every month (both Ebooks & hard copy)

I will do a books I have (at some point)

I will do a books I have on my Kindle (at some point)

I will do an iBooks I have (at some point)

Audible, is possibly an option for me to start using here in a little while, but who knows.

TBRs; are possible going to stay, but as of right now they are gone until I am fully out of my reading slump

Reads of the month; will stay as long as I read books each month, If I dont finish a book, Ill explain the book/books I was reading and explain why I haven’t finished them yet.

Back at it With the Updates

New job has me away from home all day everyday just about, leave at 4:30 AM for work dont get home till 5:30-7:00 PM. 

Found out news of my life, and I am still coping with it when the time comes everyone will know. 

Had a bad reading slump back in January, and I am slowly getting back into reading within the last few weeks.

This time I am not leaving, I can’t do this.  Reading is my life.

Why have I been MIA?

So I have been for a while now. I starting working, and things in my life changed so much.  I had a break up, got with someone new, life has just been throwing me curve balls for a while.  This is like a job to me, but to add to my plate on top of my shop job, I started a second job as an independent consultant for Pink Zebra, if you dont know what it is and want to know, just PM me. This is also like a job to me, and im getting back into it.  While I was away I had this MAJOR reading slump and I have no idea how, but I am finally out of it.. Back to real life, back to my passion.

I have a problem:

Ever since I started working I take some money out of my check to buy books. Either I buy full price books, or I books on sale.  But I buy lots of books, not as many as I know I could, but I also have been going to my grams and taking some of the books from there that I know the people she lives with will never read, and for those I take 10-15 books at a time.  But the other day, a lady whom my grandma lives with started going though her books, and she started giving me a bunch of books she didn’t want anymore, and books that she has never read.  I am addicted to books, maybe its not a book person’s problem, but for normal people it is an issue.

Just an update

Haven’t been on here daily in a while, haven’t even posted in over a month.  I started working in a shop, back in the start of January, so I have had to get used to my working schedule and all of that. Its hard to get into a routine for me and then my routine was all throw off because of some family things going on.   Starting today. I will try and post once a day, if I can’t post daily it will be everday. I am still working on getting my booktube started, but it took a backseat when I got my job.  I haven’t stopped reading but i dont read as much as I know i could.  Have my goodreads goal set for 50 books, which im sure I can read more than 50, but im giving myself some room so I know i can finish the goal.  So far I have read 6 of those 50 books. I read four of those in January and so far this month I have read two of those.  I keep going between reading my physical books and reading on my kindle. So i dont go into another reading slump.

Hogwarts House!

So all along I knew I was a Gryffinfor, but today I took a sorting hate test, just for the hell of it.  Yes I got Gryffindor, but my in depth results were as follows:  Gryffindor - 13 Ravenclaw - 13 Hufflepuff - 12 Slytherin - 7 The site I used for this was http://www.thealmightyguru.com/Reviews/HarryPotter/Docs/Quiz-House.html   it is worth it.  Even though just about all of us know what house we belong in. But, its still fun to see if with a different quiz what you may get in the end.

Finishing Harry Potter

I will finish Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows before the new year starts. It is the one series I have stuck with throughout the whole year, and if I don’t finish it before 2016 starts I will be very upset.

So I had this idea...

I like to write, so I think I may post a little bit of my stories on here to see if people like them.  I thought about posting them on Wattpad, but I’m not to sure about it & well frankly I would like to start having my writing out there in the world.  It is a dream of mine to be a published author one day.
