Witchcraft: Warding

Warding is the method of casting a shield or barrier to defend and protect a space, person, portal, or item or to deflect potential negative energies and dangers. This is a remarkably important intention to consider and practice. Warding where you sleep, shower, rest, eat, and preform rituals along with yourself and prevent you from many unwanted experiences and encounters.

Warding Correspondences:

Colors: Black and Red. Tools: Coffin Nails, Crystals, Graveyard Dirt, Horseshoes, Iron Pikes, Talismans, and Wands. Symbols: Hamsa, Evil Eye, Pentacles, Ankh, Eye of Horus, Mars, Aries, Celtic Knot, Celtic Cross, Algiz Rune, Pentagrams, and Sigils.

Warding Methods:

Covering or sealing mirrors with Warding sigils or Fabric when not in use.

Warding yourself, the space you rest, and space you clean yourself.

Tracing Warding Sigils with your fingers on doors and walls to fortify.

Scooting in or placing an object in non-inhabited seating locations.

Cottage Witch, Common Sense

DO NOT MIX CLEANING SUPPLIES! These are chemicals we are talking about, you don't want to accidentally make a toxic fume that would be harmful to you or your pets.

Put salt in your water before boiling noodles, and a cap of olive oil. The salt helps it cook better, the oil keeps the noodles from sticking.

In a pinch white vinegar works as a disinfectant.

Use some baking soda to keep your fridge smelling fresh.

Wash your white clothes in hot water and your colored clothes in cold water. AND DON'T USE BLEACH IN YOUR COLORS.

If you are washing something that is supposed to be absorbant (towels, cloths, washable puppy pads or fleece guinea pig bedding, etc) do not use fabric softener, it will make it less observant.

DO NOT POUR OIL DOWN THE SINK! It will clog the whole freaking system!

The box is a suggestion, if your noodles need more water to finish cooking, then add some more.

Peroxide removes blood stains from clothing.

White wine removes red wine stains
