Star Wars nerd, makes me laugh till I cry, dealing with his mental wellbeing in a healthy way, and has a rather lovely dad bod. I am very much in like. Bill will still always be my number one though. It's officially "Barry-eve" here in the Uk. 2 more sleeps technically but it's Sunday. An early night is planned so that I can watch before work tomorrow. Yet another reason to love my human. He makes Mondays bearable. 💛

Under his eye. Reality is starting to imitate art and I'm scared of what's to come. They are coming for people's rights, they are trying to strip away knowledge, and they have a plan. While it doesn't effect me directly I am reminded of a poem:

Second draft is virtually complete although the edit has gone to the beta readers already because I thought I was done.

I suddenly discovered two podcasts that I didn't know existed and it meant I've now worked out how to expand on 5 of my characters, 1 major, 4 minor, add some texture to them, and build on one chapter that felt like a slow starter. I now know what wasn't working and how to fix it.

I guess that's the goal posts repositioned - third and final draft by May, then tweaks to spelling and grammar July to October, ready to self publish in November. 💛
