What is there to gain from doing this? In my experience, being out does not cause any major positive benefits other than preparing people to not be confused when you suddenly start changing shape, which you aren't planning on doing from my interpretation of the issue here

However, I do recognize that being trusted by women due to your birthright generally changes socialization. If you think that the female socialization that's bound to happen when you tell this to a girl is likely to earn you a level of support that is unattainable by a male bodied person and that this support will help you survive then go for it

should i come out as trans to my best friend of like 5-6 years? she's straight af and religious but she was supportive of me being pan and she's not transphobic or homophobic: only issue is we're a) growing apart and b) im going to her school next year and planning on not coming out when i go to school....so idk what to do yall help i also cant tell her till we hang out which may take forever xD
