Caryatid

Hi everyone! This caryatid is one of many that adorned the porticoes of the Forum of Augustus in Rome, which are smaller copies of those in the Erechtheion in the Acropolis of Athens. I made this statue from a free 3D model I found on the Internet. I reduced significantly the number of faces, built an UV map, normal map and textures. I made two versions : 1,90m (to use as a statue) and 4m (to use as a true caryatid).

BRIGHTER FOUNDATIONS

This mod is an attempt to fix the old issue of foundations being too dark and their colors never matching anything else.

There’s a darkening gradient applied to all buildings in the game which makes the bottom of walls look darker. It’s there to make them blend in with the environment, I suppose, but that comes at the expense of color fidelity.

What I did was change the darkening amount from 50% to 10%, and now the foundation textures actually match the rest of the textures in the game! What a concept.

Facity Eyes - 100 followers gift

Hello! Oh my God, it has passed a entire life since I created and shared something new…! I missed it soooo much! :’D

The first time I reached 100 followers was in 2012…! I remember I felt so blessed, and I feel the same today, even if in past I reached thousands followers during the time.

So, I found this site, Facity , where there are billion photos of beautiful faces.

Every race, every ethnicity, every color, every shape.

Each of these beautiful faces tells a story, and I couldn’t help but bring some of them in my game. All the credits go to these people, and the respective photographers.

My first inspiration was Mouseyblue. ❤

Each eye has some swatches; some a lot, some fewer.

Sclera is mine, and not really gameplay friendly (pretty dark).

There are twentyfive eyes plus two bonus: seven more addictional black eyes even if each of these sets has the black swatch (you know how much I’m obsessed with black eyes), and some veins for scleras (they should look fine on every sclera). Veins comes both in skindetails and facepaint.

I wish I could have the nerve to make them in heterocromia too. I’d like the Pixiidis mesh that is perfect, but I don’t know how to make recolors without including it, so… xD
