Some of the Brazilian expressions that should be listed as historical patrimony

Hi everyone, I was reading somethings on internet these days and I found some people talking albout our Brasilian expressions and I just loved it!!! I laughed sooo much because that’s exactly how we use to speak.

I know it’s totally diferent from what I use to post here but I just thought it could be funny if I let you know about it and if I try to explain them! I separated 10 and I hope you enjoy! (Maybe you’re coming to Brazil someday hahaha)

So, I’m gonna write the expressions, translate them literally (if they have a translation), and only then I will try to explain okay? Let’s do it!

1- EITA: I think this one is the best one.. you can express lots of things with this word. Imagine there’s a group of people having an argument, you look them and say “EITA”. Also if you forgot something you can say “EITA I forgot...”. You can use this expression for small things too, for example if you let some object fall on the floor you say “Eita” and take it back.

2- EITA PORRA: If something is going bad or If you are in a situation of astonishment you can say “EITA PORRA”

3- MELZINHO NA CHUPETA (honey in the pacifier): I think it’s like “It’s a piece of cake”.

4- NÃO FODE (don’t fuck): I don’t know how to explain, it doesn’t have a sexual context. I think it’s more like “don’t tease” or “don’t disturb” ...... idk

5- PICA DAS GALÁXIAS (”Pica” of galaxies): when you want to say that you/someone is the best, the one, the badass, you say “He’s the PICA DAS GALÁXIAS”.

6- GRANDE BOSTA (big shit): When someone said “I did that” you say “really? GRANDE BOSTA”, which means “yeah? good for you”

7- TEU CU (your ass): imagine someone comes to you and starts “I saw you yesterday with that guy”, you look the person seriously and say “TEU CU”. This one is the best synonymous for “NO” ........ PS: only say this to a really close friend.

8- TO CAGANDO E ANDANDO ( I'm shitting and walking ): It’s like “I don’t give a shit”. For example “TO CAGANDO E ANDANDO PRA ISSO” = “I don’t give a shit for this”. You can also say CAGUEI (I shitted).

9- O QUE É UM PEIDO PRA QUEM TÁ CAGADO? (What is a fart for who is shitty) : It’s like if you are in trouble and want to do something that’s gonna get you even more in trouble, then you say “I’m already fucked, what’s the matter if I do more?”, so you say “O QUE É UM PEIDO PRA QUEM TÁ CAGADO?”

10- PUTA VIDA (fucking life): okay, it doesn’t mean that you have a fucking life, I think it can be something like “God damn”, or “EITA I forgot”.... idk

REMEMBER, IT’S BETTER IF YOU USE THIS EXPRESSIONS WITH YOUR FRIENDS, NOT YOUR FAMILY. HAHAHA

Well, when I was in the queue, Richie Kotzen went out there to smoke, and the door was near to the queue, so...from where I was I could see him and I asked him to take a photo with me and he did! I think he took a photo with more or less 4 or 5 people...

I just know that, after the photo I returned to my place in the queue and I was shaking hahahaha That day was fucking awesome!
