SO I DEADASS stayed awake for the soft opening and i'm not even regretting it just bec i'm v v v  much excited asf to plot & interact w each and everyone of yall ?? asfdDFHJSJ but anyways hello bbys i’m sia ! kst timezone and obvs a she & here's my lil anesthesiologist in the making- naomi ! i have yet to finish her full bio page and a plots page as well, etc so for the meantime -- here's a summary or just some deats about her :)

:･ﾟ lee sung kyung, cisfemale, she/her | hey, have you seen naomi lee around campus? i’m pretty sure they’re a twenty-five years old majoring in medicine and living in the byeol dorm. whispers say that they’re smart & independent yet also snarky & callous when you least expect it, yikes. i wonder if they’re gonna make it through this year.

family background:

she is daughter of the chairman of Myungwoo Hospital, a cardiothoracic surgeon (yes i used the hospital name that is in doctor stranger)

she has two older brothers. 

she is closer with the older one meanwhile she often fights with the second one because he tends to bully her a lot.

she is actually an illegitimate child, but no one knows of this fact except her family of course and a few from their hospital. 

her biological mother died when she gave birth to naomi. so she really didn’t know much about her real mother. 

that’s why the chairman and his family adopted her and eventually welcomed her with open hands. his wife wanted to have a daughter but cannot give him anymore due to some complications so the couple were really happy when she came in their life.

childhood:

naomi doesn’t have much memories during her childhood days.

she doesn’t have that much friends even since she was pretty much a homebody.

her family kept her inside their house most of the time.

so she never played in parks, swings and doesn’t even know the games before.

her step-mom was being super attentive to her. dressing her up, bringing her to her meetings, outings, etc.

she was a very smart kid. 18 months and she can already count from one to ten? yes! well that’s because of her step-mom’s meticulous attention in baby naomi’s progress.

she was two years old when her father started teaching her human anatomy.

she may be smart when she was a kid but wasn’t really the friendliest to other kids when she started going to school.

a bit of a brat, maybe bec her family spoiled her too much bUT she grew from that already.

why medicine?

coming from a family who are in the medical field and with both of her older brothers are doctors now, she’s expected to follow their steps as well.

she also idolizes her father, who is a cardiologist and her brothers; a cardiologist also and a neurologist.

she knew she wanted to be just like them- she really wants to be a anesthesiologist someday.

however, she’s insecure when it comes to this.

she tends to get compared a lot by her classmates back in middle and senior school, telling her that she will never be just like her brothers. her fam knew about this and reassured her that she’s smarter and all and that she can do it and be one of the best someday.

however, as times goes by and she’s growing up, she got the chance to get out of her bubble and try new things. she then discovered that she actually like to become a chef.

she grew up liking cooking a lot, as she likes to look at her nanny every time she cooks until she also tried to learn cooking, etc.

but she knows that her fam wont agree with this choice of path so she sticks to the medical field. focusing more on this destined path.

still, she enjoys cooking and exploring new recipes when she has some time.

personality:

beauty & brains, definitely.

she has this strong aura so that's why people would hesitate to approach her first bec she also has this resting bitch face.

like she may look like she's mad 24/7 or is thinking on how to murder everyone but shes def not ??? she was just born with that face ok

naomi's got attitude tho, and if she doesn’t know you or like you she can seem like a bit of a bitch. (bonus heh)

she is v honest and won’t hesitate to tell you how that sweater makes you look like a garbage disposal system as soon as you put it on, without a second thought.

so like she's generally a very blunt person, so don’t expect anything to be sugar-coated when asking her a question.

she’s not really the kind of looking for a war or something bec she has no time for it and shes just not that kind of person??? she’s actually v v v v chill and may look like she doesn't care but she really doesn't 

but she’s v v v kind to those she’s friends with and will defend them to no end.

& she may be one of the smartest in her field but she's also v naive when it comes to other things... like the simplest of things or the normal stuff that people do in their daily life or know. that's due to the fact that she's been shielded by the outside world and was already consumed to being the 'perfect' daughter and stuff.

so imagine her breaking her neutral facade and over reacting to small stuff like “ooh !??!?!?! that’s how people do it???? “ or “LOOK AT HOW THAT SQUIRREL EATS!!! SO CUTE”

an ex, perhaps ? like had a relationship with this muse for a year but they broke up mutually due to a lack of passion in their relationship anymore. it was mainly her fault bec their relationship was practically a test to her tp see how ‘love’ works -- well she was head over heels over him before but then things change and she just... doesn’t want it anymore.

close friend !! probs the only person who can tolerate her. she’s the type to only consider like 1 or 4 person to be her close/best friend. they know her very well already and she treats them as her ‘sibling’

a relative, perhaps ? (since i see all of them are younger than her lmao they can be her namdongsaeng/yeodongsaeng) someone that she could look out for and she’d be all this protective and supportive older sister would b cool to see this kind of side to her. she really values family, so.
