No matter what you're doing, you should always strive to live by passion and not by obligation. * Martha invited Jesus out of love, but she served Him out of duty. And the problem that happens when you do so is that you start seeking for external rewards, since you don't have the internal reward of just doing what you love. You suddenly start doing what you once love for people's approval, just like Martha, or for fame, money or all those exterior things that will never make you feel better on the interior. * Go back to your passion. Remember why you're doing what you're doing and enjoy it. Don't let your what define your why. Place "being joyful " on the top of your To-do list. The depth of your worship will always evolve at the same pace as your growth in the knowledge of who God is. Worship always follows revelation. You declare with your mouth what you know within your heart. That's why Jesus said that the Father is seeking for worshippers in spirit and truth, meaning those who, led by the Spirit, declare the truth of who He is, based on what they know of Him. So if you've been bored lately during your worship time, it may be because you've been running on the same revelation of the person of God for too long. Dig into His Word. Ask Him to give you a fresh revelation of who He is and to show you an aspect of Him that you've never seen before. After billions of years, the rivers and the seas still throw themselves in the ocean, just because He decided it would be this way. After billions of years, the sun still rises up in the morning, just because of His command, and the moon still replaces it at night, just because He said so. After billions of years, the whole earth still turns in the direction He told it to turn, just because of the word He proclaimed. And after billions of years, His breath is still filling up our lungs, because of a single decision He made. 💫 Today, I just want to remind you the sovereignty of your God. If God has created all things by His word, then the only fact that He made you a promise should be enough for you to believe in it. Indeed, when He says that something will occur, He is not saying that He is going to make it happen, but He already declares it done. You need to understand that the creative power is already inside of His word. Therefore, there's no delay in the creation, there's only delay in manifestation. Meaning that your waiting season is not for you to wait for God to do something, but for you to finally see in the natural what God has already created in the spiritual. Today, I want you to realize the creative power that sits into the voice of your God. Only one of His whispers can make the whole universe tremble and align with the word He just said. Therefore, never belittle what He tells you. Keep a list of all the promises He made you and thank Him now as if they were already fulfilled. I'm slowly but surely learning that if God wanted to show only His spiritual aspect He wouldn't need you nor me. But we serve a God who CHOSE to represent Himself in humanity, by creating man and woman in His own image. Therefore, sometimes, the best way to show more of God is to show more of you. A common christian reflex is to devalue God's love to make it reachable by our efforts. We make it conditional, limited and temporary in our minds to be able to get it by ourselves or, at least, to pay it back with our lives. But the truth is that we will never be able to deserve nor pay God back for this unconditional, limitless and eternal love that is given to us in Jesus-Christ. That's why it freely came to us as we were still sinners : so nothing could ever make it leave us. ❤️ Today, I just want to remind you how much God loves you. Actually, crazy in love with you is not even enough to describe Him! If He had to go to the lowest of valleys, He would go there for you. If He had to stay on the highest mountain top,m to find you, He would chase you there. What impressed Jesus when He encountered the woman with the issue of blood wasn't the fact that she could believe in the miracle, but the fact that she could believe in Him as the God of miracles. So many times we look at the things we dream of, and we find it hard to have faith in them, because of how big they are and how impossible they seem to be. But the Bible didn't ask you to believe in the impossible, but in the One who makes the impossible possible. He doesn't ask you to focus on the thing you may want, but on Him who can give it to you. Choose Him as the focus of your faith and start believing to the size of your God, for there is nothing He can't do. When Jesus wanted to talk to the Samaritan woman, He went at the well, where she used to go daily. When Jesus wanted to talk to Peter, He entered into his boat, Peter's center of activity. When Jesus wanted to talk to the Pharisees, He talked about Scriptures, which were their passion. Jesus is that kind of friend that isn't just concerned about Himself, but about everything you love. Unfortunately, the mistake we always do is to limit our relationship with Him in the 4 corners of our prayer room and keep the rest of our lives for ourselves. But Jesus died to enter into our lives ! Not only our secret place 😅 So today, include Jesus in everything you do! What's in your heart these days ? When the enemy tempted Eve, he started with controlling her mind, so that he could then control her actions and, therefore, her future. You need to realize that your mind is the enemy's favourite battle camp, not only because it's the most impactful one, but because we easily let him win every day. He can either attack from the exterior (by sending peace-disturbing circumstances) or from the interior (by using your weaknesses or old habits), but no matter what his technique is, your response as to remain the same : hit back. Do not accept those stressful, anxious, depressing, negative, full of hate or self-disparaging thoughts. Those are not yours anymore. The second thing that we can learn from Jesus' attitude towards His disciples is that He treated the one that followed Him at the cross with the same love He gave to the ones who betrayed Him. And as His body on earth we should freely give this same unconditional love. No matter who hurt you, offended you or spit on you, don't treat this person according to his or her deeds, but according to the spirit of love you've been given. Don't fall into the trap of revenge, but instead overcome evil with good. Pray for the one who hurt you. Do the best you can to make things better between you. Give this person the same amount of love you would give to your dearest friend. Love, love, love and love again, even when it doesn't make sense. It's so important for you to know that self-focus will always lead you to self-doubt, because the more you look at something the bigger this thing's imperfection seems to appear. And this is the reason why you're currently doubting your worth, your capacities, your gifts, your calling and everything that is making you who you are : you are looking at yourself too much. But everything would change if God would become your focus. You would realize that you're fearfully and wonderfully made, not because of who you are, but because the Creator of all things designed every part of you, and marvellous are His works. You would realize that you're gifted, equipped and called, not because of the skills you may have, but because He is the grapevine who promised to produce much fruit through you. You would realize that you have a great future, not because of your dreams or plans, but because the Alpha and Omega holds it in His hands and knows the plans that He has for you, plans to give you a hope and a future. The third and last reflexion that I had about Jesus' attitude toward His disciple is that He treated them equally, not according to the fruit they were currently bearing but according to the fruit they had the potential to bear. Even Judas had the potential to be the " greatest " apostle, and Jesus treated him as if he would be, even if He knew that this potential would never be manifested. And isn't it amazing that He has the same look towards us ? He sees the potential in each and every one of us, even when we can't see it in ourselves. You may be underestimating yourself, but know that God never does. He values you, has plans and a full destiny for you, just because He loves you. We need to realize that in Genesis 1, when God saw the earth as formless, dark and empty, all He did was speaking. Meaning, that He just placed His Word inside of this situation and everything changed. What used to be formless became divinely created. What used to be chaotic became harmonious. What used to be dark became enlightened. What used to be empty became filled. What used to be fruitless became fruitful. And what used to be unpleasant to God started to please Him. All of that because of the presence of His word. But should I remind you that JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD ? Oftentimes, we're waiting for the Father to change something or for the Spirit to do something, but God is telling us that HE HAD ALREADY PLACED ALL THINGS IN HIS SON. You don't need more works, you don't need more faith : all you need is ALREADY found in Jesus. DIVINE TRANSFORMATION happens when JESUS is in your life. LIGHT and HARMONY come when JESUS is in your life. FULFILLMENT and FRUITFULNESS happen when JESUS is in your life. Have you ever noticed how Jesus treated His disciples ? He invested as much time in the ones who betrayed Him, like Judas and Peter, as in the disciple that He loved who was with Him at the cross. He didn't treat them according to their faithfulness, but according to His unconditional love for them. This made me ask myself a few questions. First, you need to notice that even though God's unconditional love was the same for all of them, not all of them gave themselves the opportunity to receive it. Peter received Jesus' forgiveness, but Judas condemned himself and hang himself even before forgiveness could reach him. Are you letting self-condemnation stop you from receiving God's forgiveness ? No matter what sin you've committed, His word says that if we confess it to him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. (1 John 1:9) Realize that you're forgiven not because of what you've done, but because of who Jesus is and what He has done on the cross for you. The third and last thing that the story of Queen Esther teaches us is that you can never fully walk in your purpose alone. When you're an introvert (like me 🙋🏾) and that you like to define yourself as a strong and independent woman (me me 🙋🏾🙋🏾), it can be easy to think that you can do everything that God called you to do by yourself. But just like Queen Esther needed the support of her people as she started walking in her purpose, you need a tribe that will be walking by your side along the way. Esther needed people to see in her what she couldn't see yet. People who will pray with her for the hand of God to move through her. People who will bear her burden with her. People who will believe in her, even when she doesn't believe in herself. With those ladies right here, I've found this and so much more. I'm more than thankful for my tribe.
