HEY EVERYONE ! ! !

You are all invited to Nagisa’s Birthday Fest, a three-day multiship event all about our brightest and lightest swimmer! The event will run from July 30th until Nagisa’s birthday, August 1st.

Fanwork of all mediums are welcome (including art, fic, graphics, fanmixes, amvs, cosplay, shrines etc.) as long as they feature Nagisa prominently. We will accept ship-centric entries for all Nagisa ships (provided they meet our guidelines!) as well as gen entries. We will also accept NSFW works, as long as they contain appropriate warnings and are placed under a cut. 

To participate in Nagisa’s Birthday Fest 2015, you can submit your entries to our blog directly anytime before or during August 1st, or you may make your own posts. Please make sure to either tag the post with #happybirthdaynagisa within the first five tags, or mention us directly (i.e. @happybirthdaynagisa), so that we can reblog it!

As we wish to keep the event as celebratory as possible, we will not accept entries that feature heavy angst, violence/gore, ship/character bashing and unrequited love. Please check out our FAQ for our full set of guidelines, and feel free to send us an ask about anything that confuses you!

And in that moment, Nagisa swore that divine light shone upon them at the mention of how they would celebrate this joyous moment. Oh boy.

“BAKERY.” The word almost came out as a whisper past the blond’s lips like it was something sacred. He then immediately lets go of the embrace and instead, took hold of Rei’s hand and began tugging him, pleading to be lead to this new place. “Sweet, yummy food. Now.”

               Rei gave a soft laugh in response to Nagisa’s words, and he brought a gentle hand up to lightly pet his head. “I’m glad.” Glad his words, his truthful words, had that kind of affect on Nagisa. Ah yes how he’s missed this little bundle of joy. Nothing really is quite the same without him around. 

               “Hmm.. What would you say to a sort of.. miniature celebration of sorts to commemorate this moment in time? I believe I have heard of a new bakery that has just opened a few blocks down…”

Incoming girly squeals and more silliness from this child whose energy levels haven’t decreased one notch ever since the reunion. “Kyah~! T-That just made my heart go ‘doki doki’, Rei-chan!” he responded with a giggle while shaking his head to conceal the tiny hint of pink tainting his cheeks. Of course, he still had a great time away from the usual scenery and people but had to admit to himself that nothing can ever beat hanging out with people he adored the most.

               Leave it to Nagisa to say something silly like that.

               “I– Well no.. not entirely… but almost. I’ve managed to keep myself busy, but things were.. still rather dull. There wasn’t as much fun in my life.” Even though most of the fun he does have thanks to Nagisa comes with reluctance to actually join in on whatever shenanigans he comes up with. Though reluctant, he still ends up being truly thankful for being pulled out of his usual comfort zone and out into the world for activities he probably would have never thought to give a chance to otherwise.

This feels like starting a whole new blog, I swear. But ehh. I’m gonna call it a night for now and continue on working slowly but surely on things around here which includes rewritting/adding new blog contents and/or pages, updating relations, starting a neater tagging system and such.

Although he knew that Rei spoke nothing but the truth, Nagisa couldn’t help but still find absolute joy in his words and simply looked up at him with his mouth wide open. “Has it really been dull without me, Rei-chan?” A teasing tone was added to his inquiry. “Like.. if a person can pass out from boredom, would you have passed out while I was away?”

               “As I have missed you equally as much.” And he did in all honesty. Life didn’t seem quite so complete without his bubbly and energetic best friend around causing chaos, mischief, and enjoyable entertainment alike. One could say Rei was lonely to a degree without him seeing as how much time they had always spent together. Without Nagisa, there was a missing piece. “Things have been dull without you.”

Amazement filled Nagisa’s child-like features as his longtime friend updated him on what she had been doing, only somewhat surprised at her success as he had always had faith that her skills and talents will take her places. “I knew you could do it!” he said and gently patted her rosy cheeks. “The almighty Seung-chan continues to dominate the world with her awesomeness.” He continued his joyous reunion mood with her by humming out songs of her group that he’s been listening to lately. “Me? Ah, I don’t know about it being new but I got the chance to visit my relatives recently. Can’t really say I was super close with them, but it was really cool to see them again after so many years.”

“No worries~ The only important thing is that you’re here now again.” She hummed and nuzzled against his forehead. “It’s almost like I’ve just found my long lost love.” She chuckled in clearly amused tone on her warm voice. Of course they were just friends but Seung was always willing to be affectionate and caring towards her friends. “I’m doing great! Thank you for asking. My career is going very nicely. I’m working like a crazy but it’s worth of it.” A dancer replied, looking at his eyes. “How about you? Anything new on your life?”

“Uwaha!! It really has been a while, Rei-chan!” the boy chirped, jumping up and down despite the fact that he was being embraced. It certainly felt like forever for this energetic child since they’ve seen one another, so there was no such thing as letting go for him any time soon. “I’ve missed you super duper much,” he added then proceeded to cling onto him like there’s no tomorrow.

Here comes the little penguin, waddling quietly behind his 'prey' and preparing himself to give him a giant hug. In 3...2...1... "REEEEIIIII-CHAAAAAAN!!!"

               “Oof–!” Well that certainly caught him off guard quite a bit. “Na… Nagisa-kun?!” He turned to face his attacker, a smile pulling its way onto his lips as he’s greeted by familiar blonde hair and pink eyes, a sight he honestly had not seen in forever. “Nagisa-kun..” came a call of the others name again in disbelief, arms gradually slipping around the smaller boy’s waist as he pulls him into a hug. “It’s been awhile..”

Nagisa lets out a delightful squeal as soon as he heard Seung’s voice and opened up his arms to receive her warm embrace. “Uwahaa!! I’ve missed you too, Seung-chan! How’ve you been? Ehehe.. Sorry I’ve been away for so long.”

“There you are! My little sweetie! I’ve missed you so much!” Seung ran towards this blond youngster and wrapped her hands around of him.

"Heehee~" Nagisa felt delighted to hear those words and couldn't help but giggle. He also even went as far as to hum one of those victory fanfares from Himori's games before briefly giving him a hug. "But even if that medicine tasted rather funky, thanks for having me take it, Hicchan. You're the bestest best healer in the whooole wide world!"

                                                                              "Yes, brave knight.                                                                    You shall receive your weight in riches.”

                      He stuck out his tongue a little. He felt like he was                       in one of the rpgs he plays on his desktop. He                       cleaned up the medicine mess, setting everything                       to the side so he could take it back to the bathroom                       when he was ready to get up.

❝ N-nagisa..? ❞

Well, this certainly surprised him in a good way. Letting out a tiny gasp, Nagisa got on his tip-toes a few times before running in to hug the familiar face. "Nomari-chan!!"

As soon as he emptied the contents of his glass, the younger blond heaved in relief when the medicine's taste finally left his mouth and he dragged himself back to where Himori was. "I... did it... Hicchan," he wheezed and gave him a cheesy yet weak thumbs up. "I finally took the medicine and will defeat the evil viruses inside me. A-Am I heroic enough already..?" And of course, having said that, he only hoped that the other will humor him and praise him for being a brave soul.

               He watched closely and Nagisa’s reaction                     made the corner of his mouth quirk up ever                     so slightly in a contained smile. He was                     definitely going to save that memory for a                     rainy day.

                     He has literally no room to talk. He acted                      the exact same way, but with more                      manipulative pouting.
