REPORT:
Name: Garrett Hawke.
Moniker/Alias: Lavellan - people in the Inquisition call her this. She keeps her given name quiet until high approval.
Title(s): Champion of Kirkwall
Race: Human
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 95 pounds of lean muscle.
Age: 23 in 9:32, 33 in Inquisition, 43 in Veilguard (conditional).
Date of birth: 9:7 Dragon, month of Eluviesta (in common, Cloudreach).
Zodiac sign(s): Sagittarius.
Alignment: Chaotic Good.
Class: Mage.
Specialization: “The Way of Three Trees” - a unique Dalish multiclass utilizing magical guidance or enhancement for arrows. It emphasizes discipline and striking true and only when necessary.
Languages: Common (fluent), and picked up some colorful Qunlat in Kirkwall.
Mannerisms: She is generally reserved. She eschews physical contact. She doesn’t shake hands, and greets people with a curt nod. She has a very dry sense of humor, but all her idioms are Dalish so it tends to be lost on outsiders. She curses quite a bit, but it’s more in the literal sense of a curse than vulgarity - think the Dalish style ‘may you learn’ or ‘may the Dread Wolf take you.’
Hobbies: Much of what she does may not be required for living in the Inquisition, but they’re holdovers from living in her clan - she hunts, tans hides, cures meat, peels vegetables, etc. Like Davrin, she whittles animals and idols to her gods. She will take care of any hart or halla mounts the Inquisition finds because she doesn’t trust a human to do it. She will also take care of that bog unicorn undead horse thing because I love it and she’s not afraid of spirits.
Appearance
Body: Lithe and short, she has an unapproachable RBF that’s complicated by her stark beauty. Her neutral stance is unapproachable - arms crossed and an eyebrow slightly raised. But even with a near constant almost frown.
Scars: She has a lot of little scars from hunting, foraging in the wilds, skirmishes with humans. The sorts of scars you’d expect from a nomadic, outdoor life. Her most noticeable scars are gashes on her lip, cheek, and right brow.
Physical attributes: Weathered and tanned olive skin; a healed over broken nose; large, golden eyes; and a Sylaise vallaslin over her left eye (until its removal). She is small and lithe, with lean muscle and without an ounce of fat due to years of hardship, limited food, and near constant physical activity (she fills during the Inquisition since she has ready access to good, high calorie food).
Type of clothing: Animal skins or low thread count textiles. There’s a lot of skin showing just by virtue of the rustic nature of the clothes.
Colour palette: Blood orange, rustic reds, earthen browns, silken cream. Basically an autumn sunset.
Voice: Nahele’s voice is actually quite pleasant and melodic, though her words are usually curt and sharp.
Accent: Ferelden.
Combat
Approach to conflict: Smoothtalker.
Combat role: Combat mage.
Type of armor: mage armor.
Inquisition
Closest companions: Varric, Isabela, Merrill, Aveline.
Most distant companions: Anders, Fenris, Sebastian.
Romance: Isabela. Theirs is a comfortable, loose relationship.

History
Nahelanin's mother died young, but her grandmother Mythalen and her father, Anehalen, were a strong presence for her and her brother Ethalen, the clan's halla keeper. Anehalen taught her to hunt and, had her magic not manifested, she would have taken his place as the clan's primary hunter. When her magic did manifest, she was apprenticed as First under the Clan's Keeper, Deshanna.
Though a capable hunter, Nahele excelled as First. She was assertive both within the Clan and at the Arlathvhen. She resolved disputes justly and was the Clan's primary trader when they had to deal with shemlen merchants.
Fifth Blight 9:31
Clan Lavellan was in the Coastlands of Ferelden when King Cailan’s army began to march south to Ostagar. Because of how insular the clan was, they did not learn of the blight until humans had begun to flee north. The Clan was penned in between the Storm Coast and the refugees flooding the Imperial Highway. They had to hunker down for months, and still the people fleeing did not let up. It was only as the darkspawn had nearly reached the Coastlands that Clan Lavellan made it to the coast and converted their aravels into ships to get across the Waking Sea.
It was a difficult journey and not all aravels survived the stormy, rocky crossing to the Planasene Forest.
Mage-Templar War 9:37
Clan Lavellan spent the next ten years in the Free Marches, but after the blight, they vowed to never again be so insular as to be ignorant of important world events.
Nahele returned from a trade with Clan Sabrae at Sundermount with news of the brewing Mage-Templar conflict under Meredith, after the Qunari had been excised from Kirkwall. The Clan moved north towards Starkhaven, though Nahele kept her ear to the ground and learned when the Chantry exploded.
The Mage-Templar war wreaked havoc from Kirkwall through the Marches for two years after Anders blew up the Chantry. The Templars running rampant through the countryside presented a real danger to the clan. Anyone with magic was a target, and where the Templars tended to turn a blind eye to the Dalish when they were bound to the Chantry, the chaotic post-Meredith Templars were far less accommodating.
Conclave 9:40
Nahele learned of the Conclave in the south, and decided to go investigate, to the chagrin of the clan. She trailed after mage caravans, dressed as a servant, wearing an elven cowl and using her hair to cover the vallaslin over her eye. At Haven, she briefly met Solas and Varric in Haven’s tavern, but stayed outside with the servants. She determined to go to the Temple first thing in the morning.
The rest depends on Inquisitor or Companion verse.

REPORT:
Name: Nahelanin (literally “you fight” - in elvhen, the meaning is that her existence is to fight for her people). Called “Nahele” for short.
Moniker/Alias: Lavellan - people in the Inquisition call her this. She keeps her given name quiet until high approval.
Title(s): First of Clan Lavellan; the Inquisition’s Elven Advisor (Trespasser onwards)
Race: Dalish Elf
Clan: Clan Lavellan, which primarily roamed the Free Marches along the coasts.
Height: 4’10”
Weight: 95 pounds of lean muscle.
Age: 32 in Inquisition, 42 in Veilguard.
Date of birth: 9:9 Dragon, month of Eluviesta (in common, Cloudreach).
Zodiac sign(s): Taurus sun, Aries moon, Sagittarius rising.
Alignment: True Practical lol.
Class: Rogue / Mage multiclass. Uses magic to enhance practical weapon fighting.
Specialization: “The Way of Three Trees” - a unique Dalish multiclass utilizing magical guidance or enhancement for arrows. It emphasizes discipline and striking true and only when necessary.
Languages: Modern Elvhen (fluent), Common (fluent), and Bull has taught her some curses in Qunlat. She picks up some ancient Elvhen after drinking from the Well.
Scars: She has a lot of little scars from hunting, foraging in the wilds, skirmishes with humans. The sorts of scars you’d expect from a nomadic, outdoor life. Her most noticeable scars are gashes on her lip, cheek, and right brow.

Accent: Nahele has a pronounced Dalish accent, so real world Welsh equivalent. If she’s drunk or speaking too quickly, it can be difficult for non-elves to understand her Common. It softens the longer she’s amongst the Inquisition.
Clan
Role in Clan: Hunter, until her magic manifested. Then she took the role of First, and took on more forward-facing duties for her clan, such as trading with shemlen villages.
Romance: Elshae, protector of Clan Lavellan (former). Elshae is the chief guardian of Clan Lavellan, a position she took from Nahele's grandmother Mythalen.
Religion: Spiritualism is part of Dalish life. They invoke their gods before hunts, at death, and at meals. It is reverent but not dogmatic. Her faith is shaken at the Temple of Mythal and with Solas’ vallaslin reveal. She loses her faith even more when she actually meets Mythal, and struggles to keep her beliefs after Solas’ revelations in Trespasser - her gods were real, they were just mages, and they were evil slavers.
Combat
Approach to conflict: She’s very direct, though it’s more assertive than aggressive. She’s not shy of violence, but prefers to deescalate using the ‘knock their heads together’ approach.
Combat role: She carries a bow and dagger, and tends to favor enchanting or supplementing those with magic rather than outright spells.
Type of armor: In combat, she wears practical Dalish armor. She has strips of leather with chainmail stitched into it on her arms, legs, and torso that’s easily tied off and on, and she wears a loose bit of fabric over both. Like most elves, she doesn’t wear shoes.
Inquisition
Closest companions: Solas, Cole, Varric, Bull.
Most distant companions: Sera (to her chagrin, Nahele really thought for a minute they’d be great friends), Cassandra, Blackwall.
Romance: Solas. After Inquisition, she held out hope he’d come back. After Trespasser, she’s focused on saving him. She has casual dalliances between Inquisition and Veilguard, but it's him she loves.
