❛ &. ┊     ❄     the sleigh is parked at the back of her house, nick setting up the reindeer's feeders to keep them satisfied while he visits an old friend. he removes his hat and gloves, throwing them into his seat before making his way to the door, knocking several times and waiting patiently for the door to open. when it does, the man gives a warm grin down to audra, the twinkle in his eye apparent. ❝ thought you'd wanna hear that you're on the nice list again this year, ❞ nick exclaims with glee. he looks more like santa now, but audra looks exactly the same as she did the last time he saw her. ❝ i figured i'd stop by, now that we're caught up at the pole. at least for now, ❞ @ephemaera.

❛ &. ┊     ❄     it needed to be perfect. nick was working off the ancient family recipe, but he felt the need to add his own flair to it, now that nick was trying to become santa, himself. he hums as he takes a sip from one of the seven mugs, humming at the taste before he licks his lips and turns to face the elf. ❝ needs more peppermint, ❞ nick nods, moving on to a darker chocolate. he drinks and chokes a bit, giving a wheezy, ❝ and this one needs less chili powder. garland, that's spicy, ❞ @frightes.

❛ &. ┊     ❄     he shows up with armfuls of decorations, the man barely seen behind a box filled with garland. when sally opens the door, nick turns so that he can see her, and vice versa, giving her a bright smile once he's finally visible. ❝ i have two more boxes in my car, ❞ he exclaims, delicately balancing the current decorations he has in his arms. ❝ you said you wanted some new stuff for your office, so i figured i could bring over all my extras, and you can have whatever you want! ❞ @nuks.

❛ &. ┊     ❄     she's a curious woman - someone who wanted to see and learn new things - which nick found to be a dying feat in adults. not only had she been kind to him over the length of their friendship, but she had also started to believe nick when he talked about his family's lineage. even though the belief had started small, it was nice to know someone didn't think he was crazy. now, as the sleigh is parked in front of them, pulled by the classic eight reindeer ( as well as snowcone, who rested at the front ), nick gave sophie a smile, holding out his hand to help her in. ❝ did you bring a big coat like i told you to? ❞ nick asked with bright eyes, climbing into the sleigh himself and taking the reins in his hands. ❝ if you forgot, i know my sister has one you can borrow, ❞ @frightes.
