Around the sm version trailer and the leaks of the models I started doing some doodles of sm and awakened pv, so idk yeah

#theyre fun idk #but i hate dealing with the souljam #shadow milk cookie #pure vanilla cookie #i like the idea that precorruption smilks hair is like a gash thru the world into a starry sky #idk maybe thats silly #also the second one was based on a comment someone made about precorruption sms forehead mark looking like a keyhole and yeah #oh also i changed up awakened!pvs look because i actually have some gripes with it #theres just so much white and its blinding also thd long hair just doesnt vibe to me

having more on mercy thoughts nightmare does not believe in the concept of loyalty. he doesn't trust anyone in the traditional sense because of his deep paranoia; he sees trust as a vulnerability, a blind spot that opens the door for betrayal. trust is a blind spot. trust is a weakness, and he cannot afford to have weaknesses.

yet he entrusts tasks to his crew. why? because they are all bound to him by necessity, not loyalty. perhaps a little bit of fear, too. because none of them have room to disobey or betray. because each and every member of the crew has lost it all, or stands to lose it all should they ever stray. it is not blind faith, but a transactional relationship. but nightmare has already rigged it so that no matter what, he cannot lose his control over them. it is either giving them protection, or smiting them. he wields control over their fates, and even as he entrusts them with tasks, he refuses to allow 'loyalty' affect it; he does not trust them, at least not unconditionally.
