Duplex 2205 Fasteners

A Duplex 2205 Fastener is made of a combination of steel and a chromium-nickel alloy. It is a two-phase, ferritic, austenitic stainless steel with high corrosion resistance. It has twice the yield strength of 316L and excellent resistance to crevice, pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and erosion in severe environments. The alloy is also known for its good fatigue strength and fantastic weldability.

2205 duplex stainless fasteners are generally used in chemical processing plants, saltwater piers, or jetties. They are also used in power generation facilities, food production plants, and offshore platforms.
