Sure, there’s the chance we’ll die horribly, but thinking about it doesn’t help us any!” The comparison Rallen used was...Admittedly a completely horrible comparison, unfortunately. But, hopefully, the point he was trying to make wouldn’t be lost in translation.

“Alright, I’m fired up now, Ms. Torri! Let’s do it! Iku ze!” Rallen cheered, hefting one of the swords over his shoulder with a confident smirk. It really wasn’t his style to wait around, anyway. If he was going to do this, he’d do it ASAP. Besides, he liked to think that action was the best teacher of all. “Lead the way. We’re gonna show these Dusk Circles who’s boss!”

Sorry for going MIA like that! I recently got my hands on Touhou Puppet Dance Performance, and I’ve been enjoying it! I’m raising two of the most broken Puppets just to use with training my favorites, too, so there’s that! But, yes, I am okay!

“Wait, have these guys gone nuts!? Outta the way, Darkroe! These jerkwads are mine!” Rallen roared, breaking into a sprint as he hit the button on his left armguard, revealing his Prizmod. To think he was actually helping a Krawl fight its own kind...The irony there could kill Krux many times over! “And watch who you call an idiot, moron! I’m the one who’s gonna be arresting people!”

“W-Whoa!? Zora, cut that out right now! You’re gonna make that kid laugh to death!” Rallen tried his hardest to remove the fluffy Child Spectrobe from poor Mashiro, he really did. But, the sheep-like Spectrobe just refused to stop its ill-guided consumption attempt that was really rolling. It also seemed to be doing nothing but tickling the poor girl...

“Baaaaaaaaaaaa.” The defiant Spectrobe simply stopped long enough to baa a ‘no’ to its master before resuming its failed attempt at feeding its wool. And then, Rallen just happened to notice the girl’s ‘sheep’...

“Wh-What the heck!? Moving furballs!? I thought I’d seen everything!” ...And was immediately disturbed by how hairy they were. How mature.

“Zora…Zora, stop that. I know you’re fluffy and all, but that doesn’t give you the right to try absorbing stuff in that fluff! It just doesn’t work!” Rallen was clearly lost, but the Child Spectrobe he had selected, Zora, seemed to think it was alright to attempt smothering inanimate objects on the ground in its wool. All in all, it looked silly.

“Baaaa.” Said Spectrobe resembled a dark-skinned sheep or ram with extremely thick wool, with gradient horns and eyes going from green to orange easily. The markings visible on its face were a light green, and its nose was yellow. Even its feet, which looked spherical, were covered in the wool!

I’m gonna do replies tomorrow. I’m sleepy...Beating Touhou Puppet Dance Performance really drained me.

“Huh? Oh, no...Just thinking about something, don’t worry, Ms. Lorelei.” Rallen shook his head to wave off the thoughts; he’d have plenty of time for that later, when he’s actually adjusted to this new world. “I am curious about something, though...What do you mean by ‘incidents’?”

“I can definitely see how festivals would be rowdy, though. All those people in one place...Even I’d feel like letting loose a bit, maybe party a bit hard. Too bad the NPP kept me busy, but...Well, work is work, you know? Can’t back out of it, so...Ack, sorry! Didn’t mean to ramble like that!” Cue Rallen panicking and flailing his arms. It’d look silly, but...Well, he’s already doing a fine job of that as it is. Why improve upon such perfect silliness?

“It may sound silly to those that aren’t used to the Japanese language, but either way it’s still a nice place.” As long as you weren’t on the receiving end of a youkai attack, that is. “I-I wouldn’t dream of attacking anyone, not unless I had a good reason to!” Knock that up to her peaceful nature, but she was too innocent to even hurt a fly, only deciding to attack if something important was on the line.

“You may think it’s quiet now, but when an incident occurs things can get pretty noisy fast, not to mention when there’s a festival.” Honestly the only reason it was so quiet here in the first place was because they were in a hidden spot in the forest. Even if it was daytime only the sounds of nearby animals and wind would disturb the silence, which is why she chose it as a practice spot in the first place.

The songbird noticed the other’s thoughtful expression, and wondered just what exactly he was thinking about. Even if it seemed intrusive to ask she couldn’t help it. “Hey, is something bothering you? If you have any questions, I’ll try my best to answer them.”

“You’ve got to be...Haven’t those guys learned anything!? Conventional weapons do not work against the Krawl! Tell them to stand down, now! I’m on the way! Just tell me where the fighting is!” Rallen sounded as exasperated as he looked, which was, bluntly, extremely exasperated. Turning to Darkroe, he added to his rant. “As for you, Darkroe, if you get in the way, don’t expect mercy. Just shut up and let me handle the Krawl. I don’t care if they’re your brothers and sisters; they’re threatening people, and I won’t stand for it!”

“You know, you say that now, but I killed your main body. I doubt you have that much strength when your body was close to obliterating Kaio. But, fine. I didn’t know her name. Just let me contact her...” Rallen tapped a button on his left armguard, opening the comm unit and guessing at the other’s signal.

“Hey, uh...Is this going through? Seiker, is it? I found your pet Krawl.” Why did he call Darkroe a pet Krawl? Possibly out of spite.

The reaction the male gave told Rallen only one thing...That it was Darkroe. “Let me guess...Darkroe, right? Listen, this newbie sent me to find you. If it wasn’t for her, I’d be using my Spectrobes to take you down...For good, this time.” Of course, he could be wrong, but he preferred shooting first, and asking later, so to speak.

“Talk about a tough choice…” Rallen tapped the sword twice, indeed producing a second copy, with which he idly practiced a combo move he came up with in his head. After that, however, he appeared to have made his choice, looking to Torri with a determined expression.

“Let’s just dive on in! The sooner we find out if I’m like this God’s Gift, the sooner the Krawl get their butts handed to them! I’m not about to let them run rampant, anyway!”

“Talk about a funny-sounding name for a place to have...Gensokyo, huh? Well, at least you aren’t gonna attack me, Ms. Lorelei. To be honest...Well, the last thing I need is somebody trying to fight me.” Rallen returned the bow rather...Well, awkwardly. He had no clue what he was doing. Still, it was rude not to return the gesture, he figured.

“Well, at least it seems quiet enough here.” He added, just to be safe, along with thinking about the lack of Krawl in the area. Was it possible that Gensokyo was safe from the Krawl? No, that’d mean it would have to be a separate dimension...And, frankly speaking, that was impossible, wasn’t it?

“S-Sorry about that, I didn’t mean to intrude or anything! I just heard you singing, and…Well, to be honest, it’s great! I felt like I could fall asleep and have nice dreams from it!” At least he was honest, really. Even if she said she wasn’t going to harm him, he felt guilty that he’d been listening in without permission. Still, he finally found the dried bread, which he proceeded to break apart for the birds before putting it on the ground.

“Ah, lemme introduce myself, miss. My name’s Rallen. I’m with the Nanairo Planetary Patrol…And I think it’s safe to say this isn’t anywhere in the Nanairo system.”

“Thaaaa~t...Would actually be very much appreciated, Mashu.” Rallen admitted, as the two Spectrobes nodded in agreement with her suggestion to feed them. Spikanor seemed to personally tilt its head at the mention at grilled chicken, while Sable seemed content just looking around. In fact, of the two Spectrobes, Sable was more curious of the humans, due to its age.

Rallen, meanwhile, finally decided what he wanted. “...Fried chicken sounds good. Haven’t had that in ages. Plus, soy sauce on it sounds great.”

The Stray Servant stared at Rallen in confusion and terror. "U-um... Tell me... A-are you gonna hurt me, mister?" {Hello! I am so happy to see a Spectrobes RPer!}

“Now, hold on…Why would I hurt you? I literally have no reason to, ma’am. Besides, do you know how much trouble I’d be in with my superiors if I did hurt someone?” The very idea of hurting somebody without a reason seemed abhorrent to the young patrolman, and with good reason.

“Did somebody hurt you, to make you think like this? If I need to, I’ll bring them in for assault! Something like that can’t be allowed to go unchecked!”

“...Man, can’t say I’m all too fond of looking for a Krawl, but...Well, if he turns out to be a threat to the people of Kollin, I’ll just put him down.” Rallen sighed, as soon as the recruit had left. Things just grew more complicated by the minute, they did...Regardless, the patrolman set off for the park located near Kollin’s Museum. Maybe he’d heckle old Webster to see how the ornery old man was doing after this got situated...

“Well, time to decide on what to get Jeena for Christmas...The commander probably wants wine, Prof. Wright might want a fossil, Prof. Kate...I don’t know what she’d want...Everyone knows Webster would be happy not seeing anyone touch his museum for a day...” Rallen seemed to be absorbed in his griping. So much, in fact, that he blatantly neglected to pay attention, bumping into somebody. “Whoa!”

“Uh, there’s a slight problem with what he said. Jado never once got past my Spectrobes. In fact, the only time he ever came close was in the Kaio System, and that’s when he died! Well, whatever...Where was he last? If we start from there, we can just split up and use the comm system to relay things to one another.”

“Well, whatever. I’m going to have plenty of questions for him when we find him...And if he tries anything, I’m putting him down like any other Krawl. No questions asked.” Rallen was quick to tap his left armguard, which concealed his Prizmod. He wouldn’t hesitate to use the Spectrobes if it was a Krawl like Darkroe... “Oh, so he broke Gronos’ corpse, then?”

“Alright, fine. But I want an explanation as to how it’s alive when we find it! And watch your mouth; the NPP doesn’t need any pottymouths, trust me. And I thought Gelberus surviving was bad enough...” Rallen muttered the last part to himself, before crossing his arms. “Seriously, though...Of course I’d recognize the name. I had to put that thing down because it was a threat to the Kaio system!”
