Gymnocalycium mostii

We received this plant many years ago under the name Gymnocalycium valnicekianum, but this name is now considered a synonym of G. mostii. Its chubby body has a full complement of stiff spines, and its off-white flowers have dark red centers that contrast nicely with the pale yellow pollen. From the province of Cordoba, Argentina, to the northwest of Buenos Aires.

Trying to get my life in order and start properly applying to jobs. My internship ended a few weeks ago and I took a little break for Eid, but now its crunch time 😤 Job searching is the absolute worst but I wrote a giant list of all the things I have to do and seeing it is giving me motivation!

feels very weird and distracted. can barely do my responsibilities at the clinic, hobbies doesnt even feel enjoyable. things are going bad again and the big test is so close. help mee👍 if anyone has any tips on productivity while feeling bad and weird i am all ears

Recent revision snaps :) yesterday’s exam went quite well so I’m feeling more positive today. Just two more to go over the next week, then third year is done!

It was really warm and cloudy earlier today, no heat, no wind, no rain, so I took studying to the balcony. The sun came out after a while though and it got too hot, so I had to move back inside :/

The following 5.5 weeks are going to be my personal armageddon, yay last month of the final year of the degree...

three lab reports still due

analysis of environmental pollution final (June 6th)

chem tech lab final (June 10th)

presentation for crystallo (June 11th)

chem tech final (June 23rd)

bachelor's exam (July 10th, most likely)

and meanwhile: finishing my thesis!!!

In other news, I'm still reading The Empusium and halfway through it got a little slow, but I'm still enjoying it a lot!
