Shattered Trust: A Tale of Betrayal and Resilience
When you trust a person wholeheartedly, you feel the warmth in their words, that caresses you and protects you. You feel secure, like a chick in an egg, with its mother nurturing its growth. But the same chick should also know that there’s always a snake by its nest to eat it alive. The kindness softly penetrates through your skin, like water seeping through the sand, leaving a wet patch behind—  kindness persists. You travel high, up above, along with the person you trust— your bond like a clear piece of glass, that grows along with your trust. It shelters you under its shade. The snake slowly slithers towards the egg, eating the hen and the chick alive— misunderstandings. The glass falls down, breaking into a thousand million pieces— shattered. The trust built through days and years, lies as microscopic fragments on the cold ground. Within each shard echoes a tale that built trust. The lips curve into a wistful smile, sorrow lingering in the eyes with a hint of stifled tears. Her body turned into stone, impervious to external emotions. The snake slithered, towards the next nest.
Description:
This passage is a metaphorical exploration of the nature of trust, vulnerability, and betrayal in human relationships. Le Warmth and Security: Trusting someone completely is described as feeling warmth in their words, which provides a sense of security akin to a chick nestled safely in its egg with its mother protecting it. This represents the comfort and safety we feel when we trust someone deeply.
Vulnerability to Betrayal: Despite the warmth and security, there's an acknowledgment of the potential for betrayal ("the snake by its nest"). This reflects the vulnerability inherent in trust, as trusting someone opens us up to the risk of being hurt or betrayed.
Kindness and Perseverance: The persistence of kindness is highlighted, suggesting that even in the face of betrayal or misunderstanding, the essence of kindness endures. It's portrayed as something that leaves a lasting impression, much like water seeping through sand.
Strength of Bonds: The metaphor of a clear piece of glass growing along with trust symbolizes the strength and clarity of the bond formed through trust. It offers shelter and protection, much like the shade of a tree.
Betrayal and Broken Trust: The snake eventually slithers towards the egg, representing betrayal or misunderstandings that shatter the trust. The breaking of the glass into tiny fragments signifies the destruction of trust, leaving behind only remnants of what once was.
Resilience and Reflection: Each shard of broken glass echoes a story that contributed to building trust. Despite the devastation, there's a wistful smile and lingering sorrow, suggesting resilience and reflection on the memories and experiences shared.
Emotional Closure and Moving On: The imagery of the body turning into stone represents emotional closure or detachment, as the individual becomes impervious to external emotions. The snake moving towards the next nest implies the cyclical nature of trust and betrayal in relationships.
Overall, the passage captures the complex interplay between trust, vulnerability, betrayal, resilience, and emotional closure in human relationships. It portrays trust as a delicate yet powerful force that can bring warmth and security but also leaves one susceptible to pain and betrayal.

The ultimate guide to defeating the Parkinson’s law:
Have you ever felt that sometimes tasks take longer to complete than usual? Crack the code to productivity by outsmarting Parkinson's Law and conquering procrastination.
Work expands to fill time. This is Parkinson's law. Consider a simple task like filling water bottles an hour before leaving for work. Often, we spend fifty nine minutes on other activities, completing the task hastily at the last minute. This could have been done earlier as well, but since we have an hour, we use up the entire time to complete this task. The availability of a full hour leads to procrastination and a delay in completing the task until the last minute.
The fact is, we drag the task until the literal last second that the task which could have been executed efficiently is completed defectively in almost all cases.
Parkinson’s law aids us in being better procrastinators. The deadline motivates you to delay the completion of your task. So how do we overcome this Parkinson’s law?
Parkinson’s law is the brother of procrastination. Looking at the task, your brain convinces you that it is an easy one and can be done later. But you know the truth. I discussed a productivity method to write down your tasks in my previous blog. Now this would bring a positive overwhelming feeling that would force your mind to think that you have so much to do. But since you have the directions, it’ll be easier to carry them out.
One thing I suggest is to write the approximate time you might take to complete each sub-task and the deadline for completing it next to it. Now take efforts to prioritize and complete the task.
Using time-management techniques like the Pomodoro method, Ivy Lee method and self- imposing deadlines work effectively in overcoming Parkinson's law.
Remember, curing is equally important as diagnosing. Now we have found that Parkinson’s law is the main cause of our procrastination, let’s take efforts to overcome it.
Stop waiting for the right moment. Start today, start now. Comforts can be satisfied later, but regrets can’t.

Maximizing Productivity: Unveiling the Power of Clarity
In a busy setting, individuals often grapple with overwhelming tasks. The introduction of clarity, through detailed task lists, has proven transformative, turning chaos into streamlined and effective workflow.
Imagine receiving ₹86400 in cash every day. Your objective is to maximize the benefits from this amount, knowing that your balance resets to zero the next day, and you receive another ₹86400. However, there's a twist – this isn't about money but the time you have each day.
The optimal approach is to balance time saving and investing. Time saving involves using time management methods to be more efficient, while investing time means engaging in activities that yield future benefits, such as learning new skills or practicing self-care.
Often, we overlook the abundance of time we have daily. Beyond the 86400 seconds given each day, we are granted a substantial 16-18 hours to allocate wisely. Recognizing and utilizing this time abundance can lead to a more fulfilling and productive life.
Most of the time, we are busy , but are we productive? Remember you can still be busy scrolling through Instagram. There are a lot of reasons for us not being productive, which includes lack of prioritization and procrastination.
Procrastination - The thief of time. In my perspective, one main factor is the lack of clarity. Say, you have a Presentation in a week and you have to prepare for it. You would have had a few ideas and things you need to do in your mental checklist. But you lack clarity. One method I learnt from the ‘10x Productivity Masterclass’ conducted by Growth Vidyapeeth is to write down your task at the top and write the sub-tasks below it in a sequential order leaving some space in between. Now write the materials or directions you need for the particular sub-task to be completed. Here is an example.
Tumblr media
Now this looks time consuming. But trust me, you will never regret the time spent on this. Since you have everything here, you don’t have to switch pages for directions or information required. You will now notice that your work is more streamlined and smooth. “Motivation gets you started, clarity keeps you going.”                   - Myself Here’s a printable template for you guys to use. I will keep posting more on related topics.

Journey Through Pages: From Reluctance to Reverence
Reading isn’t just a habit, it is an experience, a whole life by itself.
If there is one thing I did in the past, and I am really grateful for is developing the habit of reading. The story of how I started reading is rather funny. It all begins from my mom, the protagonist and the book, at that time, the antagonist. Prompted by my mother's recurring directive to delve into the abundance of books already adorning our home, I asked for books and was faced with the same answer, “You have an abundance of books at home, read them first.”(but in Tamil in a more sarcastic way). The books we had at home were those hefty books, that are like 300 pages long with small and boring fonts in yellow, smelly crinkly paper.
I somehow managed to buy one decent kid book by the age of 10 just to avoid my mother’s lament (without which my journey would have been bland).Little did I know that this small act would be the key to unlocking a world of imagination and boundless exploration. I discovered one thing, you can always hate a movie but never a book, for, a movie portrays a directors perception, but a book is something you visualize thru your mind, just the way you like it.
A book is a portal that transports you to worlds beyond imagination. A writer lives one life, a reader lives a thousand  lives. Reading isn’t just a habit, it is an experience, a whole life by itself.
One mistake a lot of people do, is choosing a book for namesake, not knowing what their actual tastes are and guess what, they even complain that reading isn’t worth it. All they deserve is a punch, straight in their face, just enough to knock out their glasses(in case they wear one) and present them with a book that matches their taste.
I sit in the cozy corner of my sofa, with the fluffy blue blanket cuddling my feet as I lay on the softest pillows in my house, with a book that takes me to forests, trenches, palaces and even a stranger's house. I traveled to worlds beyond reality. Each page unfolds a new world beyond reality, a testament to the enchanting power of literature.
Book, something I wish to carry even after life. Trust me, reading a book is worth every bit. I wish the world would transform into a place where people in the streets talk about literary adventures rather than about Kardashians.  ║Do comment your thoughts, feedbacks and your favorite book in the comment section😀║

The Intriguing Power of the Law of Attraction
Personal experiences with the Law of Attraction have fueled my desire to share its wonders, plus, continuous descriptive blogs are getting a little boring.
Do you know that the universe listens to you? Sounds a little creepy but, yes. Have you ever prayed for something, putting your heart and soul in it and attained it? It is because of something called the ‘Law of attraction’. But trust me, it ain’t that boring like the laws you study in physics.
Unlike traditional prayers where you ask for something and promptly forget about it, the Law of Attraction involves living as if your dreams have already come true. Sounds crazy?  Let me break it down for you.
One effective way to attract success is through affirmations. Picture yourself in your dream scenario – hear the sounds, feel the sensations, and describe the experience in the present tense, as if it's happening right now. Be specific. For instance:
Wrong: "I am driving the car I have always wanted."
Right: "I am cruising in the new red Porsche 911 Carrera, with the sound of air swirling through my window."
I suggest reading your affirmations at least ten times a day. Consider using the 369 method. Now allocate 5 minutes time in the morning to visualise your affirmations. Act and behave as if you have accomplished that.
Within your mind lies the subconscious, influencing your behaviour with thoughts and feelings that you may not even be aware of.
Now you are not experiencing what you are imagining right now but your subconscious makes a note of everything you do. It can’t accept the fact that your reality strikes with your thoughts. And the universe gives you what you want. But only if you strive for it wholeheartedly. Another important thing is, you cannot attract things for others. “I am watching my sister succeed in her business ventures” does not work.
Law of attraction works in the other way also, thinking of positive things, affirming them, yields positive results. Those who constantly whine and lament negatively for example about  their present financial situation, etc., they manifest negativity unknowingly, and in return, the universe gives them the same thing.
For a deeper dive into the subject, I recommend Jack Canfield's book, "How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be: The 25 Principles of Success." It's an eye-opener for anyone aspiring to succeed.
I can say with conviction that this law of attraction has helped me achieve my goals and will help me in the future as well.
The law of attraction isn’t just a concept, it is a journey to embark on a deliberate shift in mindset, emitting positivity by tapping the power of the subconscious. Join me on this journey of intentional living, where our thoughts shape our reality.

Margazhi Morning
The month of Margazhi, the month of Lord Krishna, where even the simplest routines are transformed into soulful rituals.
At around 4:45 in the morning, even before the first rays of sun grace the horizon, I wake up to the ethereal sound of “Andal Thirupaavai’.The cool morning air carries the enchanting fragrance of fresh jasmine, exemplifying purity and devotion. The sunlight gently filters through my curtains, as I go downstairs to help my mother with the Rangoli. This is one of the only things that pulls me out of bed during this month. The gentle scraping sound of the rice powder adds to the soft melodies of cows mooing, the birds singing, and the dogs barking, creating a gentle symphony in the morning air. As the day unfolds, one can find ants in the rangoli, carrying tiny grains of rice powder with their Herculean strength.
The cool morning air brushes against me. A steaming hot shower in the morning washes away the morning chill, creating a harmonious start to the day. A tranquil atmosphere surrounds me as I engage in my morning prayers. I close my eyes, visualising the divine presence of the lord of ethereal enchantment , as I chant the Thirupavai.
Following this is my breakfast, soft idlis and steaming hot sambar. The pillowy idlis, dipped in the aromatic sambar creates a burst of flavours in my mouth. The journey of the food from  my mouth to the stomach is a delightful voyage packed with flavours and satisfaction. What is a meal without a sweet? Chakara Pongal- A culinary masterpiece infused with the essence of lingering warmth and sweetness. The sweet, granular feeling of the pongal along with the subtle flavour of nuts and ghee is simply delectable and nostalgic.
From the sacred chants that awaken the soul to the flavours that tantalise the taste buds, it is evident that Margazhi is not merely a passage of time but a journey of the spirit, a time to immerse oneself in devotion, gratitude, and the simple joys that life has to offer. Margazhi weaves a tapestry of traditions and emotions, reminding us of the timeless beauty of faith, family, and festivity.

Bitter Truth
Join me on a reflective journey as I wake up one morning to confront the realities of poverty in Mumbai, India’s economic powerhouse as I navigate through my thoughts.
It was the early hours in the morning of 28 September this year. I woke up fresh and active, so I thought of writing something. I thought of topics to write about - but my well of ideas seemed to dry up before I found a topic to satisfy my thirst. And there was ChatGPT to the rescue. And there it was suggesting some useless topics. No offence, but ChatGpt is sometimes helpless and hopeless.
Souvenirs from Mumbai decorated my table which laid in front of me, And I thought of writing about my trip, but yeah, who would read an article about my trip? But then a few images flashed in my head-images of individuals grappling with the harsh realities of poverty...What surprised me was, Mumbai, the economic capital of the country, has a staggering 20% of its people suffering from poverty.  What shook me was the contradiction that India’s richest state is also a home to almost 25 lakh people who are below the poverty line.
When this is examined at the roots, we find one thing - inequality in the distribution of resources. “The richer keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer”. In a selfish world where everyone works to earn money for themselves, still hesitant to even give a mere amount to parents, how could we expect those billionaires and millionaires to donate a considerable part to the poor. “Will my charity end world poverty?”, asked a young billionaire when interviewed. Everyone desires immediate change and recognition.
However, my perspective merely scratches the surface of India's poverty issue. This glimpse, though, leads me to ponder the global scale of destitution. Poverty doesn't solely entail beggars; it encompasses those toiling for meagre earnings. Viewing India through the eyes of poverty fueled my yearning for transformation, though I remained uncertain of where to start.
The exact cause of poverty is clearly undefined. Millions like me write articles about their thoughts on poverty, but has it made any change? Education and healthcare are our two eyes without which a man is blinded. A change begins from home. We are ravenous to earn money, but too hungry to even share. I am yet to discover more haunting facts about poverty driven by an unwavering belief that I can be a catalyst for change. But somewhere deep in my heart, echoes that a change is bound to happen by me.

 My area, my pride
Hey dudes! Here’s my writing about my area- Triplicane. Being born and brought up here, I have always been truly enamoured by this place. Take a walk through my area as you walk with me.
A typical person’s morning would start with waking up before the sun does. The birds join the melody of the creek of the gate when it is opened. You walk past a tea kada round the corner and the hot vapour hits your face. As you relish the aroma and walk in a trance, you will already be standing  near the Kannagi statue. A walk by the sea as you enjoy the sunrise, amidst the ethereal hues, towards your right, Parthasarathy  temple bhajans envelop the air, infusing it with divine vibrations. The distant resonance of the Wallajah mosque prayers adds to the harmony, creating a sublime tapestry of spirituality and serenity that uplifts my soul with every breath. A few steps towards the right and you will find yourself in the busiest market and the enchanting fragrance of the flowers……Deports you to the ethereal world.
“There is no place in this world warmer than our native land”. I am with a heart full of reverence and a voice brimming with pride as I write about a place that holds a special place in my heart – Triplicane, my area, my pride.
Nestled amidst the bustling city of Chennai, Triplicane stands as a testament to the beauty of tradition .Our neighbourhood is not just a geographical location; it's a harmonious blend of communities, languages, and beliefs that come together to create a vibrant mosaic.
Thiruvallikeni, derived from Thiru-Alli-Keni in Tamil, means 'Sacred Lily Pond.' This area is also known as Vrindaranyam in the Brahmanda Purana.
The heart of Triplicane beats with historical significance. The Parthasarathy Temple, an architectural marvel, stands tall as a beacon of spirituality and heritage. And towards your other hand lies a marvel, Built during the 18th century, the Wallajah mosque showcases a unique blend of Islamic and Indo-Saracenic architectural styles.
But it's not just the past that defines Triplicane; it's the people who breathe life into its streets. We are a community of resilience and unity.
The magnificent M.A Chidambaram Stadium stands as a coliseum of cricketing dreams, where the roar of passionate fans merges with the echoes of legendary clashes. Its hallowed grounds are a theatre of sporting epics, where each blade of grass holds the weight of history, and every cheer reverberates through time.
The Madras university and the Presidency college are another thing we are proud of. It has borne many great and renowned people. Imagine this place as a Hogwarts for geniuses, where legends like Abdul Kalam and Ramanujan once walked down the halls. The Big street boasts twin schools, one Hindu and the other Muslim, gracing its distant extremes.
In the heart of Triplicane, two sanctuaries of enlightenment stand as pillars of celestial wisdom. Bharathiyar Illam emanates the pulsating spirit of Subramanya Bharathi. And the Vivekananda House, a hallowed abode, echoes Swami Vivekananda's teachings, bridging the mortal realm with the ethereal.
Triplicane truly portrays unity in diversity in every possible way. Triplicane is like the lovechild of Ramzan and Diwali – it's all about sharing and caring. I mean, who else would eagerly await both biryani and sweets with the same excitement? It's like a food festival that never ends!
From the shopkeepers who greet us with warm smiles to the elderly who share their stories of yesteryears, Triplicane is more than just a collection of buildings – it's a family, a tapestry woven with threads of camaraderie.
